My computer started running super slow so I took it to north coast in avon lake, they are right…read morenext to that martys bike shop. Anyways, they told me my operating system needs to be reinstalled. I got the computer back and it was still running very slow! Also all my files were gone, I told them my pictures were important but when I called they said all my files were corrupted. Not sure if that's true or not so I called dell and they had me run a diagnostic mode built into the computer and it showed the hard drive failing. So I paid all that money to have my computer wiped because that's what they said the problem was and it turns out the hard drive was bad. I called to complain again but they said best they can do is give me some sort of discount and no refund. Taking somewhere else.

I called about 3 computer repair service companies to try and get someone to please come out to my…read morehouse in north ridgeville and help me, I'm elderly and I can't just unplug my desktop computer to easily bring it into a shop, the first 2 places were either not willing or made it so difficult for what I was asking or simply didn't even call me back. So my third call was Computer Crisis in Avon and wow, picked up the phone right away, got me on the schedule later that evening. That alone spoke volumes. A guy named James came out, figured out what the problem was, unplugged everything for me and took it into their Avon storefront. I opted for the upgraded repair option because the computer was about 7 years old. He installed Windows 11 on it for me and got everything backed up and transferred for me. Had the computer back to me the following evening and showed me how to use the new operating system. 5 star service and now I got a new computer service company that's local to north ridgeville ohio. Not a lot of places out here and most of them are cell phone repair. Highly recommend!

My…read more2-yearold HP laptop would not restart, even after following all the manufacturer's guidance from hotline. Marty at PCFixMe! answered my call, offered to fix later that same day, and when I drove up to CLE, he did troubleshooting and identified issues with motherboard. He corrected it, said it was common issue, and provided tips to prevent it (properly shutting down laptop). He also showed me how to remove back of motherboard and unplug/replug in battery, and provided me with small screwdrivers so I could do it myself if needed. Which I did when similar issues came up the next week. Twice. The solution worked temporarily, but... when my screen went black the following week, I called Marty to discuss. Since I was located an hour away, he kindly offered several options, one of which included helping me purchase a new laptop if motherboard was bad- worst case scenario. When I took the laptop to him, he did trouble shooting, laptop did not reboot, motherboard was bad and we proceeded to shop online for a replacement. He recommended a replacement, and he ordered it then and there. When it arrived a few days later at his shop, he called to tell me he noticed a scuff on the cover and also found that it did not have all he had expected in hardware, and apologized for his mistake. We discussed an alternative Lenovo laptop - also less expensive - and he purchased. When it arrived several days later, I picked it up. Marty was honest with me again and told me my old laptop eventually did reboot! I said I'd keep it as a backup, but I needed a reliable alternative for my new business. And I was back up and running within 4 business days. Marty at PCFixMe! is honest, prompt, professional, courteous and exceeds expectations! What a breath of fresh air.
