The waiting area is peak and spacious. There are multiple tables you can sit at as well with wall outlets nearby if needed. Coffee and snacks station is cool but more snacks and tea options would be cool. The vibes here are immaculate and everyone seems like they enjoy their job and working here. Will be back!

1 Star: Extremely Disappointing Service and a Complete Waste of Time…read more My experience at Hanlees Toyota at Hilltop was absolutely unacceptable. I called last week to schedule an oil change and had an appointment for 10:30 AM. I arrived as scheduled, yet I was not even acknowledged until 11:50 AM. I was then told the service would take approximately two and a half hours. It is now 3:30 PM, and they have only just started working on my vehicle. That is nearly five hours of my day wasted, and I never received a single phone call or update to let me know there would be a delay. But the worst part? They didn't even change my oil! I specifically scheduled this appointment because I wanted an oil change. I was left with the impression that was the service I was receiving, only to find out hours later that it supposedly wasn't covered under ToyotaCare yet. If an oil change wasn't included, why wasn't that explained to me when I called to schedule the appointment or when I first arrived? Why was I left sitting there for hours without anyone communicating what was actually happening with my vehicle? Instead of taking responsibility for the poor communication and wasted time, the staff offered no meaningful updates, no apology, and spoke to me as though it were my fault for supposedly not understanding what ToyotaCare covered. This is a customer service failure from beginning to end. I understand that ToyotaCare has specific coverage guidelines, but that does not excuse the lack of communication, the excessive wait, or the failure to clarify what service I was actually scheduled to receive. All I wanted was an oil change. Instead, I lost nearly five hours of my day, received no oil change, and left feeling blamed rather than respected as a customer. I bought a Toyota expecting professional service and straightforward communication. Hanlees Toyota at Hilltop fell far short of those expectations. Customers deserve honesty, communication, and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would think twice before bringing my vehicle here for service.

We drove from San Jose because Moe was responsive to our texts and emails whereby other Kia dealerships closer to San Jose were not. We were looking for a car with a specific color and package. Moe is friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and highly professional, and his 16 years of experience truly shine through in everything he does. We drove home with the car we've been looking for. Thanks Moe! Afterwards, we saw Garnett to handle all the finance requirements and options. His hi-tech desk is amazing for seeing and signing all the paperwork. He explained everything in detail and was receptive to our questions/concerns. Thank you Garnett for your advising and truly making us feel welcomed and part of the Kia community.

From Sean to Moe, everyone made the experience amazing. Sean referred us to Moe. Moe (Safeel), in particular, assisted us from beginning to end. He patiently taught me how to use the car and explained all of its features and gadgets. He went above and beyond by offering drinks and snacks to my husband and kids while they were waiting, which was such a thoughtful touch. He even took the time to show us another vehicle we were interested in and may consider purchasing in the future. Overall, it was such a wonderful and comfortable experience. We truly appreciate Moe for making our car-buying experience so enjoyable. Thank you for the excellent service and for treating us like family!

Vehicle inspections, transparency about a vehicle's condition and prior repairs, repair…read moredocumentation, and customer service after the sale could all improve. I purchased two vehicles from this dealership in 2026. I reported problems with the first vehicle, a 2002 Toyota Camry, almost immediately after purchase, including A/C problems and dashboard warning lights. It later developed serious engine problems. I then purchased a 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour on July 22. Within weeks, I encountered additional mechanical issues. On August 26, an inspection identified oil leakage, transmission-fluid leakage, and a problem involving the passenger-side CV/axle area. The axle was later replaced. On September 30, the Crosstour experienced another serious failure. Smoke came from the engine compartment, the vehicle lost electrical power, experienced shifting problems, stalled, and became disabled. After these experiences, I asked the dealership to take the Crosstour back and unwind the transaction. They refused and stated that the 30-day/1,000-mile warranty had expired and that the vehicle and repairs were my responsibility. As a repeat customer, I originally trusted this dealership and previously left a positive review. Unfortunately, after my experience with two vehicles and the way my most recent concerns were handled, I no longer recommend this business.
