Sam from Car Freaks totally changed my opinion of car dealers. He had the exact year, make and model I was looking for with all the options that I wanted. The car was in great shape and he took the time to point out any minor flaws with detailed pictures before I came to look at it. He was completely honest and transparent. When I arrived at the shop he greeted me and my mother with a smile and a handshake. I went over the car with a fine tooth comb for over an hour. My son and I was in the market to purchase a 2008 MazdaSpeed3 and we checked all the auto websites and all the cars that we came across had high mileage and multiple owners which I was not interested in. We finally came across Car Freaks located in San Rafael, CA. Sam, the owner, had a 2008 MazdaSpeed3 with low mileage and one owner which is what we were looking for and to top it off the car had all the accessories that my son wanted which made it a turn-key unit. Sam is a fantastic person to work with and he was very informative about the car that he was selling. Sam isn't going to sell you a car just to make the sale but he takes personal interest in each vehicle that he sells and wants to make sure that you're totally satisfied. Sam is genuine. I have been looking for a nice E92 335i for quite some time now, about a year or so off and on, but I finally decided to go through with it. I did some shopping and I stumbled upon this place, who had by far the best 2009 335i on the market. I thought it was too good to be true, so I scheduled an appointment with Sam, and checked out the car. Right out of the gate Sam is an incredibly kind man with not an ounce of pushy sale tactics in his body, he let me thoroughly inspect the car and test drive it, and this thing was incredible. To find a 2009 E92 335i in Alpine White with Black interior with only 74K miles was some sort of a dream, it even had BMW's CIC computer! I had to get this car before anyone else could, I put down a deposit and came back the next week, he brought it to me with a full tank of gas, we filled out all the paperwork, and I got the car. Since it was at 74K the Spark Plugs were expected to need a replacement soon, and the car started idling a little funny. Usually car salesmen would just say "Tough luck," but Sam actually told me to bring the car back to have his mechanic work on it and he will cover the cost entirely! I love this man! By far the best, most honest, and only used car salesman anyone in the bay area should go to! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! read more
