Selma at the front desk is amazing! She is a true gem of the clinic. Honestly, I had 3 pts in the few months that I was there due to high turnover. The pts were on their computers for the majority of the session rather than being attuned to patients. The techs implement exercise regiments for patients, so you're with a pt for maybe 15 out of the 45 minute session. I am now receiving pt from a different facility and it is light years beyond what I received at North Boulder physical therapy. read more

Zach is amazing. He gives the most caring and personal attention to your physical therapy needs. I have Osteoarthritis in both knees. I could barely walk up and down stairs. Talk about someone who's on a mission: shout out to Matthew Smith and Tracy Cody for working diligently and professionally when it comes to providing a structural care plan for patients in need. I came in with a neck and shoulder injury that I had been losing sleep over for a pretty long time. I'm only 29, & Since I'm recently unemployed I'm using Medicaid to take care of it because I've been dealing with it getting worse over the years and my line of work has always been physically demanding. Im usually pretty anxious doing exercises in public but I felt welcomed and connected with both therapist (& interns) to a point where I felt comfortable becoming a regular. I drive from Longmont to Boulder & It became pretty worth it because Medicaid was taking care of me and I felt like I was working with a group that was absolutely determined. Matthew and Tracy both gave me the tools to take advantage of some daily pain in my life and I've really been given the progress Ive been looking for! read more

Would not recommend for a sports injury, especially on the hip. Techs and front staff were very nice and welcoming. The DR though, was fixated on treating the symptoms while the underlying cause was worsening. Repeatedly was requesting to get imaging prescribed or my injury reassessed but they were more concerned with increasing my strength numbers. I had complained of this pain 2 weeks into a 2 month program and was repeatedly gaslighted until the end. Couldn't return to the activity I loved but I could pass all the same tests they give the other geriatric patients that frequent. Also they charge additional for bands, c'mon! read more

Physical Therapist was not familiar with our daughter's condition and should have referred us elsewhere. Not only was it not helpful, it delayed us from seeking treatment elsewhere. Bill ended up being way more than we were quoted. Thankfully, we eventually found excellent PTs through Children's CO Therapy Care in Broomfield who have changed our daughter's life! read more

Went to the Westminister branch. The therapists were fabulous but the front desk staff was horribly rude and incompetent. I have a no deductible insurance and I'm sure without checking they demanded full payment. I paid, then was later informed by my insurance that this branch owed me a refund. Getting the refund has been a nightmare. They still won't pay up. read more

They put me on a machine and left me. Then the pt showed me a couple of exercises. The pt was pissed that I wasn't demonstrating more strength. I stopped going after the 3rd non-tx. They charge $150 a session for nothing. I switched to Pace West PT who have really helped and are interested in my rehab. read more

I've come and seen various PTs here through the years. I chose them because they offered many therapists and had early hours. They're credentials seemed good on website. They are very busy and in time my treatments went from being very focused to rushed if not started late and ended early. Don't know if they over book the therapists or what problem is. At the end, the PT assistant ends up giving the better treatment, more relaxed, detailed and patient. Also, spent more time reviewing homework than doing work in office. I didn't like taking time from work for that. I think if they slowed down with each patient it would be better. I am in process of needing PT for new injury but will look around a bit. read more

I received excellent care from the therapist I saw. However, their billing practices are questionable at best. I was quoted a cash price which was reasonable, however it was run through insurance which was 3-4x more expensive per visit over the quoted cash price per session. They billed me for many visits before I was aware of the issue. read more

I've had four separate post surgery physical therapy treatments here for knees and a shoulder. The staff is always very professional, competent, considerate and kind. Beware of your hard earned money when patronizing this place. Debra Lang's customer cancellation policy, which is posted in the office and stated in e-mail appointment reminders, demands a payment of $45. for any customer cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled time. I had a PT cancel my appointment 1 hour beforehand so I asked for a $45. credit. Debra investigated, and refused to give me a credit since the PT's reason was to attend to a sick child - which she said would be an acceptable reason if a customer cancelled within 24 hours. Of course this is nowhere stated in her policy so how would a customer know this? Anyway, her entire handling of the matter was unusually defensive of her policy and staff, condescending, and plain out contemptuous of her clients. She could use a refresher on customer relations after 30 years focusing on her short-term bottom line. read more

North Boulder PT is an excellent physical therapy clinic. My experiences have always been positive. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable and very competent diagnosticians. I have been treated for chronic low back problems as well as for an acute shoulder injury. My shoulder injury occurred a few years ago due to a skiing accident and I currently have no problems with shoulder mobility, strength, and have no residual pain. My lower back issues are due to degenerating discs so I realize that this problem cannot be corrected and must be managed in order to avoid surgery and disability. My physical therapy sessions at North Boulder PT have increased the mobility of my lower back which has helped in reducing pain and tightness. My physical therapist has set up a home care program of exercises and has provided guidance on what and what not to do to keep my back mobile and strong. All of this has allowed me to participate in activities that I had not been able to do in past years. One suggestion made by my physical therapist was to add Pilates to my exercise regime. I have been doing Pilates at the North Boulder Pilates center next door for a few years and it has really helped to strengthen my back and well as to strengthen the rest of my body. The Pilates classes are taught by physical therapists so the instructors are mindful of any injuries and limitations that the students have. They often suggest alternate positions or exercises based on specific injuries. read more

Doesn't even merit one star. I went there on doctor's orders because of sciatica. On my second meeting with Ted Layne at the Center Green location, Layne stopped treatment and told me he didn't think I had a back problem. He actually said "women have ovaries" and that "they get cysts" and that might be my problem, but that "I don't think it's your back." Turns out, upon MRI, it's multiple level degenerative disc and joint disease esp. affecting L4 & L5 discs plus significant impingement of spinal canal. Who does this guy think he is? "Women have ovaries..." Come on! Don't go to this guy, esp. if you are a woman. Along with that, the receptionists are curt and unpleasant. read more
