My puppy Rottweiler, Roman, was in need of training. We first did 2 weeks of training when he was 4 months old. Bry was his trainer and he absolutely loved her! He learned a lot and we practiced with the commands he learned and on leash walking. I was worried about walking a big dog, but he is a saint on walks. We needed a couple one on ones too after that 2 weeks which was a great refresher for me. Bry came to my house and Roman was so excited to see her. My senior dog loved her too. Before going on vacation we asked about Bry taking Roman over night for a week. I was nervous as I never left a dog with someone overnight for that long before but Bry made me feel comfortable and I could see how much my dog loved her. Bry trained Roman while we were away and made us feel at ease with daily pictures, videos and updates on how he was doing. Not only did he get trained, but he got social experience with other dogs of different sizes and breeds. Since then we have worked on the training that Bry started with Roman. He is doing so well with everything. He is listening better, more patient and not having any accidents in the house. He has come a long away and we cannot thank Bry enough for helping him be the best pup he can be! I would highly recommend North Boston Dog Training especially trainer Bry, thank you for all you have done for Roman!!! read more

Bry-Anne was absolutely amazing !!! We were so nervous sending our dog away for 14 days to be trained and she made us feel so comfortable !! She is so genuine, loving, and kind hearted. We immediately felt comfortable with her taking our dog to be trained, it is so hard to find people to trust with your animals and she made it so easy. Though we missed our dog too much while he was gone, he came back the best version of himself! We were also nervous he would become to soldier like and not be his goofy self but now he can be both !! :) I couldn't believe how well he was trained when he came home, and when she dropped him off she came over for like an hour 1/2 showing us exactly what she did to train him so that we are able to keep him on track with what she taught him. We are just so grateful !! We are also are looking to book a family vacation and were not going to go because we didn't want to leave the dogs, but Bry let us know that she also will come to our house and make sure the dogs are taken care of and we are definitely going to be planning that with her. Our family also owns a dog grooming business and we have come in contact with many different dog trainers and heard of many different dog trainers and I hands down believe she is the best is Massachusetts ! We sent our dog Belle to the two week board and train through North Boston Dog Training. Belle is a year old with no formal training and started forming some bad habits. When we spoke with Mike directly, we gave information about her and what we were looking for. Based on her needs, she was paired with the trainer Bry, and from the moment we met up with her to drop Belle off we were very impressed. She worked on the basic commands with her, worked on leash manners and also how to prevent her from being reactive to things in her surroundings. We also liked that during her stay she sent updates on how she was doing and her progress. She was very thorough when we picked up Belle on what she worked on and how to keep Belle on track with what she was taught. We found a huge overall change in Belle's behavior and discipline. She also went above and beyond by offering to keep in touch with us if there is any additional help we need moving forward. We would recommend them to anyone looking for training for their dogs and are extremely happy with our experience. read more

Tarzana completed her obedience training journey today! After 3 sessions, we learned how to come when called, stay, wait, off, leave it, walk without pulling, walk off leash, stop jumping on people when they come in, and found a great new friend in our trainer. Bry-Anne Nicole was so sweet to Tarzana, never judged us during our learning journey as pet parents, and made both us and the dog feel confident in our abilities to do this. She was so accommodating to our schedule with our little one, and came both to our house and local parks to make scheduling our weekly sessions easier on us. She is so responsive and assured us that she would love to continue to work with Tarzana any time we want a refresher or boarding. Thank you so much Bry-Anne for helping us and making the transition from one fur baby to a fur baby and a real baby smooth! If you need these services, please reach out to me and I can pass along the info! I HIGHLY recommend her! read more

We brought our 6 month old chocolate lab to Mike after a few months of us trying to get her to stop jumping on every human she came across and improve walking on a lead and stay in place. No joke on day one we picked her up, and she was taught to sit and wait to go out without jumping, and he taught her to heel! By day three she was walking without tugging and heeled perfectly, and staying in place for long periods. By the end of the week she was finally laying and staying in her bed for long periods with distractions. My family could not believe she was the same dog. By week two we were able to take her for walks and drop her lease for fetch play with easy call back. Mike gave us tips to continue her learning in preventing bad habits like stealing food or jumping on family and friends who come to the door. We are so grateful to Mike, we can now control her on walks and my big pup is no longer jumping on every human in her path amazing. read more

Bry trained our then 9 month old Pitbull terrier for a 14 day stay and train program. She (Bry) is so supportive and reassuring that our puppy was in great hands. My partner and I had been going back and forth about if we'd actually wanted to send our pup to be trained and looking back we're so happy we did. Bry would send video and picture updates regarding our pup which put us at ease to see all the changes she'd made in such a short time. When we got our pup back couldn't help but notice how nicely she walked on leash and was no longer stressed when walking around people and other pets. I had to reach out after I'd finished training and Bry was quick to get back to me which meant a lot. Oh another thing! Bry offers continuing education/boarding which we love because we prefer our pup be with someone and active so we can't wait to take advantage of that service as well! Thank you Bry and North Boston dog training read more

Ok, so my Belgian Malinois isn't exactly a dog, well she is, but Malinois aren't really pets. They are wild animals that look like dogs. These are military and law enforcement K9's that need to work, they need a purpose or they get themselves in trouble as "civilians". I had some significant issues with my Maligator that needed emergency attention. I called Mike, he easily articulated my problem, dropped what he was doing, made time in his calendar for me, and gave my Mal the needed boot camp to set her straight. He also set me straight too. He's a tough love kind of guy. He sent me a text that I continually read: "Don't loosen up, stay consistent, don't allow the dog to get sloppy, she's a big responsibility due to her temperament and breed". Mike is a total professional. We are lucky to have him in the area. read more

we own two 5 yr old Boxers. we adopted them just as Covid lockdowns started & so we were unable to correctly & fully socialize them or train them. we had numerous bad experiences with aggressive tendencies & lack of discipline. i was so pleased to find Mike & NO BOSTON DOG TRAINING. we signed up for a 2 week "board & train" session for the 2 of them with Rhonda as the trainer. We were absolutely thrilled to see the change in them when they finished their training. Now they are obedient, confident, non-aggressive & wonderful to be with, both at home & in public. Defintely beyond our hopes & expectations since they are already 5 years old. Thank you so very much Rhonda! It has changed our lives with the dogs. You are certainly a very skilled & knowledgeable trainer. read more

We had the best experience!! I have so many positive things to say about Mike and North Boston Dog Training! My 2 year old typical lab just finished the 2 week training. We signed her up because she can be a real brat! We wanted help with walking on leash without pulling and basic commands that she would defy when she felt like it. He has done ALL of that and MORE! She walks without pulling, can walk off leash and will listen to all commands when given. He set these expectations for her and she has really picked up on them. I could not be happier. My dog loved going to work with him and I honestly didn't want it to end. Mike was so helpful each morning and afternoon. He was kind and really cared about our dog. Don't even think twice and call Mike to help you! read more

Choosing a trainer for a high-drive Belgian Malinois is nerve-wracking, but sending our dog to this two-week board-and-train with Claudia was the best decision we've ever made. Our pup came back a completely different dog--calm, focused, and an incredibly good listener. The transformation is night and day. our dog Riley is now doing all the right things and following commands with precision. What really stood out, though, was the trainer's approach. She was pleasant, kind, and remarkably patient--not just with our dog, but with my 13 year old daughter and I while she trained us at pickup. She took the time to train us on exactly what we need to do to maintain the progress and provide the structure our dog needs at home! Thank You Claudia! read more

Mike was awesome with our 5 month old Basset Hound that preferred to follow his nose than listen to anything we had to say. We did the 2 week board and train with him and wished we did it sooner. Scooby came home a perfect gentlemen and we felt confident and equipped with the information to continue his training. No more eating gloves or socks from the sidewalk, no more nipping or biting, no more aggression, no pulling on the leash. A completely calm and mature dog! Mike fixed it all! He was also very accommodating with working around our work schedule, great and professional business all around. HIGHLY recommend for any dog owner and we will definitely seek Mike out again for future dogs that join our family. read more

As a first time dog mama, I was a bit apprehensive to drop my puppy, London, off for a two week stay and train. However, I quickly learned it was the best thing I could have done!! London went home with Bry and she has been nothing short of fantastic. She taught London all the basics that I was struggling with including loose leash walking, wait and stay. She was in constant contact sending me photos and videos of London's progress. My little guy fell in love with her and was sad when his two weeks was up! He became part of her family while he was there. Bry has been a constant source of help for me since we met and doesn't mind my occasional crazy questions. Thanks Bry for such a wonderful experience!! read more

We cannot say enough about Mike Harrington. He is a miracle worker. We were referred to Mike by a friend. I can see why. Mike is a miracle worker. Our 1 year old golden was a total puppy. Jumping, playing, and always demanding attention. Walking him was always a challenge. This puppy is 67 lbs! After the two-week course, he is just not the same dog. He walks off-leash and never leaves my side. He is attentive and listens. Enzo loves Mike as soon as he sees the building he can't wait to get to him. We have given Mike visitation rights anytime. We love Mike for helping us achieve what I never would have thought possible. A well behaved 4 legged buddy! The Magnifico Family read more

Highly recommend Bry - Go for it! My 3 months old Great Dane Puppy was a Tasmanian devil when we got him. After the 2-week training with Bry, his behavior completely changed for the best. He is obedient, off and on-leash, act super mellow in public. Bry will give you clear tactic that she taught your pup with key words that will make a world of difference. Basically, Bry will make your dog behave better and listen to you more than your kids ever will. Beyond the outstanding trainer that she is, Bry is such a kind and thorough trainer. We continue to leave our pup with her and Bry sends us updates to tell us how much fun he has with her. Love her! read more

We brought out 7 month old Husky mix Athena to Mike after having major issues with her pulling on walks and not listening, making it very hard on all of us, including Athen. We found Mike through the recommendation of two different people and are so thankful. The first day of the two week program, Athena walked next to us instead of pulling and now listens so well! We look forward to walking her and like to call Mike the Dog Whisperer. He gave us the tools to do what is best for you puppy and to build off of it! Money well spent , it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! read more

Rhonda was amazing with my 2 girls! I have a 1y10m old Bernese mountain dog and a 10m old Bernese mountain dog/Caucasian Shepard hybrid. Before the two week stay and train my girls jumped on everyone, pulled me like a rag doll on walks and just wouldn't listen but after training my girls are doing amazing ! They listen, I'm not getting pulled around like crazy on walks and whats even better is I don't even need to put a leash on them anymore, They stay with me ! I can't thank Rhonda enough for the care she gave my girls ! read more

Mike Harrington is the consummate professional dog trainer. We adopted a year old Boxer Caesar who was a sweet dog. But he was anxious and not confident. Following a phone consultation with Mike we decided to have Caesar do a two week in house training series with Mike. Following completion of the program I met with Mike for an hour to work with Caesar to learn how to continue with the training Mike began with Caesar. He is a very different dog: confident and well mannered. Thanks Mike! read more

When we first brought our newly adopted 6 month old puppy to Mike he was out of control while on the leash. He would bark and pull on the leash at the sight of other dogs. It was bad enough that we would purposely avoid areas where we may run into other dogs. After two weeks with Mike he stays by our side and listens to direction. We no longer have to avoid areas with other dogs and have full confidence taking him anywhere! read more

so lucky to find a place that cares for my pups as much as I do! Bry is a gem. She trained my dog in two weeks amd He came home the same loving pup with manners I'm proud of. He went from pulling on leash, wild and the leader to stopping on command, not pulling, walking nicely, no jumping, much less barking if any and the same great personality. If you have the opportunity to get Bry as your trainer you are lucky. read more
