I was broken when my LaCie external hard drive failed. That drive contained my entire life on it…read moreand I tried everything in my power to repair the drive and was finally told I needed a data recovery company to have any hope of getting the documents back. I had very little hope going into the process and thought twice about spending so much money to recover the data, but the thought of being without some of the items on that drive was just too much to handle. I am so thankful that I found DTI Data Recovery in my time of need. David and Malcolm were able to recover all the files on my drive. I was shocked when I received the call. My drive proved to be a tricky one and things weren't recovered as quickly as others said, but in the end I got everything back. The time or money means nothing now that I have those files back. I highly recommend DTI if you find your self in the same predicament. I am very happy with the process from start to finish and can't thank them enough for recovering my data.

I needed the info of course, but couldn't afford to spend a huge amount of money. That said, they would start the job to see what they could do and ran into multiple complications. However ,they were able to be resourceful and use some in house parts and probably some magic to put my info back together. A week later they were able to give me a perfect copy of the files I lost. They even went out of there way to get me an external hard drive at a nearby BestBuy without charging me extra. They will never know how much grief and time they saved me by replacing all of my files. I haven't experienced customer service like that in a while. Thank you DTI - Thank you :)

The price to change the screen wasn't bad so I paid $80 bucks and then I asked to change the battery and they recommended a replacement for another $70 bucks. This time Í was told they were going to check the charging port and something else inside. They charged me 100 bucks because they said it was something in the battery inside and when they go hand me my phone the screen was blurry. Something was wrong with it. Again, they had to change my phone screen, waited 2 hours and a half more they changed the port as well it was just super annoying and In consistant

Recently our company had it's Data storage system damaged due to an unforeseen power surge. We did…read moresome searching and spoke with some local Computer technicians in the area and were advised the same thing by everyone we spoke to. To seek out a professional who has expertise in this field. Being in Canada, and specifically Nova Scotia, there aren't usually a lot of options to pick from so we looked up companies in the Halifax area and came across the website for Data Analyzers. We chose to work with Data Analyzers as they're policy for free assessment as well as their turn around time as the competition stated 1-2 months turn around and we simply could not afford to wait that long. Upon further inspection we discovered they have safeguards in place in their policies. Not for them, but for us as the customer should they fail to retrieve the data effectively. As well the remainder of their policies seemed entirely reasonable considering the circumstances and the relative fragile nature of the work they do. I spoke with Gene Devaney and he was friendly, informative and upfront in what to expect. He didn't act like a salesman, more like customer support before we were even their customer. We decided to pull the trigger and sent our NAS system to them for analysis and recovery. We were notified almost the moment it arrived in their facility and were given numerous updates throughout the day as the analysis was completed, as well as during the recovery process. I can't say enough good things about them. We paid for the service, as well as a hard learned lesson on our end, but the team at Data Analyzers was professional, courteous and prompt. You can't ask for much more when you encounter a situation as potentially stressful as losing everything. We have yet to receive the package in the mail with our data yet, but unless everything goes haywire I can't imagine there would be any need to redact the compliments I've given in this review. It was overall a great experience and we are quite happy we chose to work with Data Analyzers over their competition.
