Took my IPAD that died (would not charge even) to see what was the matter. Left it and paid $59 to James (a new owner) for the evaluation. I called him the next week to see what he knew. Said it was not charging and he did not know what was wrong (I already knew that of course). He said I could try a new battery but he did not know if that was the actual problem. I sent my husband in to pick it up for me because I did not want to go any further as the problem was not diagnosed beyond what I already knew. My husband asked James what he did to test it and he flew off the handle at my husband because he asked that question. Legit question if you ask me. The owner told my husband "to get the F out"and said he was calling the police and picked up his phone to do so. Not a nice way to treat a paying customer. He could have just answered the question nicely. Apparently he took great offense to his work simply being questioned. Of course, won't go back there. Oh, and P.S. took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy. Problem was resolved in two minutes and they did not charge me a nickel. Now if it was that simple a fix why did the Data Doctor not know what to do. Ripped me off for $59. read more

After an initial issue with my computer that didn't get resolved. DD and James did an incredible job going above and beyond what was needed to resolve my problem. My experience with them was not positive and I recommend you look elsewhere. I went there with a routine computer problem which they did not accurately and correctly diagnose. When I picked I my computer I learned that they failed to reconnect my CD-ROM drive and had plugged the hard drives plugged into the wrong SATA ports. Very sloppy! What they did do, however, is try very hard to sell me a list of expensive and unnecessary services like virus scanning and various component replacements. It reminded me of one of those terrible garages where they try and sell you expensive services and "repairs". I know enough about computers to know that these were unnecessary and over-priced and so avoided them. I am worried though that someone who doesn't know computers may be be fooled. read more

My hard drive crashed and my back up drive wasn't readable/transferable. I bought a new computer and they were able to get the data off my bad hard drive and set up my back up system to work properly. Very helpful and reliable! read more

Just bought a Lenovo ideapad 110 on the advice of the technician. Worst audio imaginable. They have to know the audio is so terrible. Very unhappy. Only gave one star because there wasn't a zero star. read more
