He gave me a detailed cost estimate before he even left the house. The next day, he worked a 10+ hr day and completed the project. He communicated clearly with me about the extent of the work; he told me when to expect him at the house; and he gave me project updates along the way. Based on my experience with other concrete contractors in the area, Jamie's rates are very reasonable. In the end I was happy with the repaired floor. He's one of the good ones and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

Job was supposed to be done in two weeks. Six weeks later said the job was done and initially billed us a total of $17,562.50. There were serious defects in the job, improper mortarings, cracked mis-aligned cinder blocks left in place, wooden shims left in the spaces between the replaced blocks. Got a new contractor who is charging us $3000.00 to repair the damage. In addition the workers lost our master key and caused over $600 in damage to our electrical system. . We had a professional building inspector and another mason look at the job. Both said the job was not done by a qualified mason. Inspector quote "What little was done was done poorly." We have been going back and forth since June. There is more but the pictures tell the story. Next stop court.

The second appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM. I waited for two hours expecting someone to arrive, but no one showed up. I eventually had to call and text for an update, only to be told they were unable to come out again. I understand that things happen, but having to reschedule twice and not receiving communication until I reached out myself was disappointing. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and was frustrating as a customer who was trying to get a needed repair completed.
