Soul of the Rose stands out with its cottage core window display. STORE: The store is light and airy, plenty of gorgeous garments and natural light. There are three distinct rooms. The main room contains women's apparel, accessories (custom jewelry, socks, and gloves). The room to the left (as you enter) has more women's apparel and unisex graphic tees. Don't miss the room in the back, it contains kitchen necessities like soup mixes (what a concept!). I personally love soft fabrics and didn't find many of those in store. SERVICE: The owner of the store was very friendly. He has sharing a lot of stories about his merchandise which was nice. He mentioned that socks and gloves are popular sellers. I loved the store's atmosphere and merchandise. Unfortunately, nothing worked for me in particular. I wear plus size clothes (2X-3X) and the store carries up to size L. Even the gloves were too small on my hands. Any women with slimmer figures would love unique finds at this store like rose jeans and cozy sweaters.

The dress selection wasn't anything over the top exciting and what i didn't like was that if they don't have your size in a certain dress, they can't (or won't?) order it for you. So basically you have to choose from what they have in the store only. My mom found a dress she loved, but it wasn't her size. We tried to google the dress to order it somewhere else and we couldn't find it anywhere! Also, the salespeople in the mother of the bride section weren't very helpful at all. I was grabbing dresses for my moms and checking on them more than the sales lady was. Overall, I wouldn't return here to look for dresses. (We drove over an hour to check this place out). It's not locally owned, it's a chain boutique and their etiquette is a little different than what I have experienced shopping at our local boutiques. Cute clothes. TERRIBLE QUALITY. & they have poor customer service. I bought this cute shirt from Clothes Minded, only to have it fall apart within 30 minutes of wearing it. The string began pulling out at the sleeve. Though frustrated I thought to myself, 'I can crochet this back together and re-tie it myself'. I went to my dentist appointment, came home and looked more at the construction of the shirt... and notice a HUGE imperfection on the sleve. Giving Clothes Minded the benefit of the doubt, I told myself this item was defective and went into the store to exchange it. The general manager of the store (the only lady I have seen in there, ever) told me she would message the store owner to see what she wanted to do about it that they 'have never seen something like this'. I certainly have never bought a 48$ shirt and it fall about within hours myself. After receiving word back from the "Store Owner", the lady told me that there is nothing they are willing to do. That she knows 100% that the shirt did not leave the store like that and regardless if it is a defect or not... it is the RISK I take shopping at a BOUTIQUE. Again. Recieving poor quality clothing, IS THE RISK I TAKE SHOPPING AT A BOUTIQUE. I never post negative comments about people or businesses. However, I want all my co-boutiquers to know... to be cautious shopping at Clothes Minded boutique. From the mouth of the general manager herself this type of situation is the "RISK you take shopping at a boutique". I have never experienced this risk before... perhaps this RISK is only when shopping at chain boutiques. So, I spent 48$ to wear a sweater for roughly 3 hours.
