They took in several pairs of boots that were big in the calf and put new lining on my dress flip flops and heel caps.

Dropped a pair of men's dress shoes to be shined, and when I picked them up they look like all they did was rub a rag across it. They did not shine the shoes at all. Definitely do not recommend them at all. read more

Butchered my brand new boots. Didn't do a single thing I asked. Find another cobbler. I bought a brand new pair of boots ($200), but noticed the tongue on the right shoe would edge toward the right over time. I contacted the company and long story short they said they would reimburse me for any alterations I had made, but couldn't exchange the boots because I had worn them. I just had to find a local cobbler. After reading the reviews and knowing how long this cobbler shop has been in business I figured it was safe to take my boots in to be altered... I go in and explain the issue, they suggest the tongue be stitched at the top with the new stitches blending into pre-existing stitches (this is important). I declined that method, suggested another and told them if it didn't work out I'd gladly return and pay again to have them stitch the tongue as previously described. After being told "I can do anything you want". I made sure to mention I was in no rush either. I wanted a simple white "X" stitched on the side where I felt the leather needed to be held in place and the same done to the other shoe so they looked symmetrical. Just 4 little holes and thick white thread, that's it. I wanted it to stand out. What I received was a Large crooked greyish brown "X" inside of a huge box of stitches and the leather surrounding it looking like it had been gouged or tugged at with metal pliers. The thread color isn't white, it's not even the same shade of brown as the rest of the shoe. The box section containing the oversized "X" is completely unnecessary and when asked why it was there I got no response. The holes the machine made the stitch with are all over the place and disproportionately sized. They don't even match up with the pre-existing stitches like they said they were able to do in the first place! The owner and his wife seemed a mix between dumbfounded and couldn't care less. They seemed baffled as to why I would have wanted white thread and when going over the flaws just exclaimed "I can hardly notice it"... you be the judge of that from google reviews/photos. I asked if they couldn't do what I asked, then why didn't they call me? No answer... I would have GLADLY paid triple with my own money to have the job done right and they could have taken a month for all I cared. I wouldn't even be writing this if it didn't look so awful. Finally they said the only thing they could do is give me a refund. Like that's going to help. I'm incredibly upset over this. read more

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! They destroyed my shoes. They had my shoes for a month and I had to go back three separate times because my shoes weren't finished. If they didn't have time to do my shoes they should have just told me. The leather did not match, the length of the straps weren't even. The stitch was not even. I even brought my own leather in and they said we will use our own leather. The damn leather they used was not the same shade or thickness of the existing leather. So disappointing. I will NEVER return to this establishment. read more

I am delighted! The metal loop holding the strap on one of my fave purses broke, and Bill's did a wonderful job repairing it! They replaced the metal loops on both sides and it looks brand new. And it was done in a couple of days. I've also had keys made here before and they do a great job. AND they have a drive-up window! read more

My sister and I have been going to Bill's for years. He's fixed our favorites time and time again. I'm a seamstress but I just don't have the tools to work with leather. They do the job right. That and stopping there gives me the excuse to visit the HOG next door. **wink** read more

looks like nobody yelps around here, but just in case: avoid this place.... They have a drive-thru window, gotta be a great place right? nope... So I take them my shoes, they look at it, tell me they can fix it, quote me a price, so far so good. I leave the shoes, they want paid in advance, ok, i can do that. Come back on the quoted date, they have half torn the soles off and told me they cant do the job, they need more money if I want them to. But they had already quoted me and were prepaid for the job. Had my #, didnt even try to call, now the reapair will cost double wherever I go, but no way do i give these people any money. They did refund my money, but they have damaged the shoes worse than they were, unbelieveable. Ohio people, YELP read more
