Service was gre but I was mislead. I had bad information on the fit. I am a return customer. Had bought a pair of timberline shoes at the Fairlawn Lucky Shoe store. I went to purchase another pair exactly like that at the Canton store. Found out they are no longer carrying Timberline as they were bought out and discontinued. The salesperson suggested this Ecco brand as a substitute. I usually take a size men's 8-8.5. The store supply was limited. They did not have my size. The substitute they gave me according to my foot measurements was a 10 1/2. Two sizes larger than I usually take. Then she recommended inserts which I went along with as I respected the saleswoman's professional opinion. I wore the shoes for one - two weeks and my back started hurting me. I discovered the shoe was the problem as I started wearing my Red Wing work boots again and the pain went away. Returned to the Canton store with the shoes on March 29th. I was re-measured and told the size recommendation would have been the same 10 1/2 including the inserts. It was plain as day the shoes were too big. Instead of offering a replacement shoe of some type, the saleswoman tried to sell me yet another set of insoles. At that point I said thank you for your help and left the shoes there and walked out. I had been a repeat customer, but after this incident I will no longer return. I was very disappointed there were no other options. These are good shoes, I took the salesperson's advice, the shoes didn't work out, and I had NO RECOURSE BUT TO PURCHASE MORE INSERTS? I will not be returning to Lucky Shoes. read more

Bought a pair of HOKAS for my son, that wore a hole in the heel after 5 months. The lady who I spoke to about this was not helpful, even sharp and curt, as she told me there is no warranty on these shoes, and that they should show structural breakdown after 6 months anyway. I called the HOKA customer support, and they assured me that there IS a one year warranty on these, and provided me with instructions on starting a claim. Several phone calls to the store left me frustrated, I spoke to Susan several times. She denied the warranty vehemently, although they are authorized dealers. I am going to report her and the store to the company. DONT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THESE PPL. Shop elsewhere. read more

My wife and I have brought our son to Lucky shoes for most of his footware needs (either this location or Fairlawn near our home). Sometimes the selection is weak, but they do a great job of fitting him - the best ever - and he always finds something he likes (normally looks like aluminum foil and spray paint for $60). Wont go there again. Bad experience. I returned my shoes and it was like they treated ya like dirt cause they were losing their commission. Needless to say the rude woman said she would have to see if she could clean the soles first after I told her I only wore them 45 minutes in my home. I haven't been inside Lucky Shoes since 6th grade. Lucky is a dying breed of shoe store--it's full service. How refreshing. I went in there in search of a pair of Merrell/Keen type shoes for my upcoming trip to Europe. Nancy instantly greeted me with a smile and asked how she could help. She was so knowledgeable and I appreciated that. She knew the ins and outs of every shoe brand in the store. The thing that really impressed me is she gave me 100% of her attention. When someone new walked in the door, there was another salesperson on hand to work with that person. Nancy didn't have any qualms about bringing out tons of shoes for me to try on and she must have brought out 7 different brands and styles to try. And she measured my foot. I haven't had that done in years. Top notch service so bravo to Lucky Shoes. And yes I walked out of the door with a new pair of Merrell shoes for my trip. I wanted to buy the pair of Finn shoes but I decided that the $290 price tag was a bit steep for me. Maybe when I have a job I'll go back and buy them. read more

Lucky Shoes does a great job of fitting young children for shoes - the staff is very helpful and courteous. They also carry the Stride Rite Brand of shoes, which few stores in the area do. read more

Poor customer service experience. People on the New Balance side were semi-helpful, but no enthusiasm. On the other store section I waited for help for a while, selecting a shoe I was interested in purchasing. When I decided to leave someone at the checkout said I needed to sign up on a list to be helped. This seemed ridiculous for a few different reasons. No one acknowledged me when I entered. If there was a wait list, they should have told me as soon as I walked in. Having a wait list instead of having associates pay attention to what is going on seems like lazy/poor customer service at best. read more
