She checked for me and they did have them in stock in my size. i told Anita that i would be there for sure as i wanted to purchase dance shoes to line dance in ASAP. i got there about 5 minutes before her closing hours due to my other errands taking up too much time; along with horrible traffic. She was still there thank goodness. She measured my feet; i tried on the shoes; and i came away a very happy dancer! Shoe brand is a quality long-lasting dance shoe brand (Anna Kern). From the environment to the team to the events, they pour passion into what they do. Tutu School is a clean, beautiful boutique environment that is a dream. A half wall with a latch gate separates the dance space from the comfortable area with ample seating surrounding. In the dance space, pink and purple dots are on the floor as place markers. A corner shelf holds all the dance props that vary each class. The team is so sweet. My daughter's permanent class is with Teacher Jasmine, who has welcomed us from the start. Unlimited twirling introduced us to Teacher Sara, Teacher Annaliese and Teacher Savannah- who are all amazing! Each of the teachers follows the same general format, but each offers their own unique touch. Bravo Bash is Tutu School's recital and it is the absolute cutest thing. It is the perfect stress free introduction to recital. The rehearsals are during class time and the teachers are on stage during the performance. They also keep the performance as a whole short and sweet, so the little ones thrive through and through. After my shy daughter's first performance, she was confidently beaming with pride. She talked about it for months and it was and continues to be the most heart warming conversations. On Tutu Days, my daughter wakes up, changes and comes out of her room dressed and ready requesting a ballerina bun. Every day with the same excitement, ballet days are the best! My daughter is hooked and it's no secret- WE LOVE BALLET!

I don't think there's enough room here for all of the good things I want to say!…read more My daughter is in 7th grade at LPPACS. She starts pointe ballet this Wednesday and I have no prior experience with anything related to ballet. I purchased her first pair of pointe shoes this past Thursday at a dance store in Beaver, Pa. The fitting took about 5 minutes and she tried on 2 pairs of shoes. Felt like purchasing a pair of tennis shoes- salesperson looks at her feet, grabs some shoes, has her put them on, and... VIOLA! Her first pair of point shoes! Except.... then I started hearing it wasn't supposed to be that easy. After receiving a few referrals to see Damon at tutu, I called and they fit my daughter in just a few hours later. Listen, this man knows his stuff-and I don't mean be knows how to sell shoes- he KNOWS HIS STUFF. He answered every question my daughter and I had about anything and everything related to ballet. He looked at how she moved and knew which shoes were better for her based on her abilities. I was amazed. The shoe that he recommended for her was the one she found the most comfortable, even after trying on many, many others. He even sewed the ribbons on her shoes for her! What I cannot rave enough about is this man's patience and knowledge combined. Damon is passionate about equipping dancers and helping them to succeed and further accomplishes that by educating parents with little dance experience! I learned so much today and am better equipped to support my daughter because of it! Thank you, Damon! If you have never shopped for pointe shoes before, don't waste time or money going anywhere else. I'm sorry that I did. My daughter talked the whole way home about how much better her experience was at tutu. I couldn't agree more! We'll definitely be back for years to come!
