The guy I was working told me they actually have a podiatrist that comes and trains them on what to look for. They tell me to spend more money because more money means more comfort. This place explained the differences in running shoes and that you don't need to spend crazy amounts of money for a great shoe and they have great discounts on off season shoes...great place that is under the radar. After that she saw an item I had posted on Facebook and requested a wholesale order be custom made to her specifications. She mentioned that they had not sold well and I politely reminded her that these items were made to her specifications and that their selling is her sole responsibility, like any other wholesale account. Marlou does carry a very limited selection of men's shoes, but it is by no means a men's shoe store. In short, this place is a godsend for me. I have spent my entire life dealing with too-small shoes and settling for "unisex" (i.e. men's) styles. I wear a 10-11 D-width and I have never found anything that actually fit other than flip flops and athletic shoes. I grew tired of going into shoe stores and saying "what's the largest size you offer? A 9-C? Yah, thanks..." If I did come across a pair that fit, they looked like granny shoes. At Marlou's, the biggest problem I have is trying to decide which of the 6 sweet looking pairs (that fit wonderfully) I'd like to take home with me. Marlou's offers a lot of large sizes in various widths. Lots of cool high-end European manufacturers. Don't expect to find cheap, stiff, manmade-upper Payless-type shoes. These babies have soft-as-butter leather. I have never before worn shoes that make me feel like I am walking on clouds. Ahhhh. This being said, be prepared to fork over some cash. The average price is $75 and up. They do run sales now and then. But just like one shouldn't skimp on a mattress, you shouldn't skimp on shoes. After all, look how much time you spend in them. There's nothing like a perfect-fitting well-manufactured shoe. Thank you, Marlou's!

You can access this clothing store from East 4th or 5th Street Arcades (it's attached to the building). I only followed Intro Boutique for eternity on Instagram. I finally wandered in with time to spare prior to the nearby Yelp Elite event. I was pleasantly surprised with the collection.  STORE/INVENTORY: Intro Boutique has two locations in downtown Cleveland. One is this one (9 years in operation), and another by the Rock Hall of Fame (3 years in operation). The brand focuses on attire that is comfortable, trendy, and washes well according to the store employee. For the local fashionistas, the store has casual and business casual attire - sweaters, shirts, butter soft leggings (with pockets!), dresses, silky shirts, well made purses, earrings, rings, adorable clutches and wallets. For self-care queens, shelves with body care items are found throughout the store where you can even smell like "total eclipse." For tourists or CLE lovers, there are cute CLE postcards, magnets, clutches, hats, tees, sweaters, 3D printed script signs, and more. It's the perfect destination to purchase the Land merch or souvenirs from your visit from CLE. You can literally buy postcards for as little as $2 and send some old school love to your loved ones. Overall, the prices range from $30 to $70. Most products sold in stores originate from the USA, Indonesia, and Vietnam just based on reading the labels. I noticed that a lot of garments resemble currently trending fashion and fabrics from fast fashion brands - Rainbow, Target, and others.  DEALS: The store is well stocked for fall with garments in seasonal colors (like rusty orange, and reds). They also have a fall mystery bag sale. You can select a mystery bag in your size - 4 clothing items for $40. I originally considered the bag but the store does not carry my size. I normally wear 2X-3X, their sizes are from S-XL. They mentioned that sizes are pretty generous. I did not try anything to confirm or deny due to being short on time.  SERVICE: The store employee (or one of the owners not sure) was very social and friendly. She mentioned that she'd love to have me back in to do a little fashion show as I try some of the items. I loved that idea!  I look forward to returning to the store to shop for accessories. By the end of the night I decided that I need the wallet with dainty edges from the store! I regret that the clothing won't fit me. I would have loved to own a garment from Intro.

I stopped in this weekend and found quite a few cheap statement pieces. Overall, it's always an okay experience with mediocre service . The store carries a wide variety of affordable clothes -- especially great for anyone shopping on a budget. That makes the place hard to maneuver due to many racks in the store. You can find women's clothes, shoes, lingerie, accessories, and jewelry. The quality is not the best (some pieces look and feel very cheap), but you can find some fun fast fashion pieces. The store has ample plus size inventory (usually up to 3X). It's surprisingly more extensive than other stores. Most of their clothes are designed to fit plus size bodies very well (especially leggings and dresses). I always shop in size 3X and generally find everything that I need. The store is conveniently divided into plus size and regular size so it's easy to navigate by size. Although you won't find both having the same pieces, they're different collections. There are a few downsides. The fitting rooms are always closed, definitely something to keep in mind if you're unsure about sizing. You have to check in any bigger bags. Many of garments are hanging very high up and out of reach, you must ask an associate for assistance. Some of your items are non-returnable (such as bodysuits). Return process in store seems like a chore based on observations. The store hours appear to be fluid, sometimes posted on the door. The store is in the area that borders questionable part of the city. All in all, if you're looking for basic fun clothes at a good price and don't mind a little digging, Rainbow in Shaker Heights is worth checking out.
