This boutique is really cute, very well decorated, and very nice clothes/jewelry. I have been there several times and have yet to purchase anything. First of all, these prices are outrageous. $200+ for a regular pair of jeans? That's crazy! Whether I find a necklace, tee shirt, shoes, or pants, I'm guaranteed to be spending over $30. Secondly, as much as I've came in to look around, I have never been properly greeted by employees. That's a bummer to me, I'm big on a welcoming environment where I'm going to be spending my money. This boutique is great quality and always clean. I can say, I'm really impressed with the "Alex & Ani" bracelet cabinet. It's impossible to find anything Alex & Ani around here, so I am quite happy about that. The clothes seem to be good quality, and are indeed very fashionable. I just can't bring myself to spending so much when there's other places around offering similar styles for a cheaper price. I do hope to see this place stay around the area, but until prices are lowered I can't see it getting the business it deserves.

I came to yelp to write a review about the store, "Poppy" in Wooster. To my surprise, some one…read moreelse wrote a review that expresses my thoughts. I have been to this store two times. The first time, I felt the staff to be very rude. Not one person greeted us, nor did they ask if they could help us. Yesterday, my daughter and I returned to the store that we had been in about 4 month earlier. We received the exact treatment. The beautiful lady that was working there DID NOT have a smile on her face and did not greet us. We thought we were the only ones in the store. There was another mother and daughter in the store trying on some clothes. They were putting the clothes back on the rack. The worker rudely said, I can put them back. I loved the comment from the customer as I am sure she felt the rudeness too. The customers response was "am I not doing a good enough job or don't you want me to do this." I loved that she commented back! Just like Lauren C's comment. The worker did not thank us for stopping. I guess we did not look "good enough" to shop at Poppy's. Returning back to the store again....I don't think so. Do they even care

The boutiques near by are typically locally owned and have great customer service…read more We have a new BOUTIQUE in town, it is called Clothes Minded. It's not locally owned, it's a chain boutique and their etiquette is a little different than what I have experienced shopping at our local boutiques. Cute clothes. TERRIBLE QUALITY. & they have poor customer service. I bought this cute shirt from Clothes Minded, only to have it fall apart within 30 minutes of wearing it. The string began pulling out at the sleeve. Though frustrated I thought to myself, 'I can crochet this back together and re-tie it myself'. I went to my dentist appointment, came home and looked more at the construction of the shirt... and notice a HUGE imperfection on the sleve. Giving Clothes Minded the benefit of the doubt, I told myself this item was defective and went into the store to exchange it. The general manager of the store (the only lady I have seen in there, ever) told me she would message the store owner to see what she wanted to do about it that they 'have never seen something like this'. I certainly have never bought a 48$ shirt and it fall about within hours myself. After receiving word back from the "Store Owner", the lady told me that there is nothing they are willing to do. That she knows 100% that the shirt did not leave the store like that and regardless if it is a defect or not... it is the RISK I take shopping at a BOUTIQUE. Again. Recieving poor quality clothing, IS THE RISK I TAKE SHOPPING AT A BOUTIQUE. I never post negative comments about people or businesses. However, I want all my co-boutiquers to know... to be cautious shopping at Clothes Minded boutique. From the mouth of the general manager herself this type of situation is the "RISK you take shopping at a boutique". I have never experienced this risk before... perhaps this RISK is only when shopping at chain boutiques. So, I spent 48$ to wear a sweater for roughly 3 hours.

She told me she took the return policy sign down.....he said it was clearly posted. She said they recently changed the return policy...he said it had been the same for 7 years. He said to come in and they would help me find something that was not hand washable, then when I went in, she said most everything is handwashable, but if you pick something, I can let you know if it has survived the washer. But I can't make any guarantees. Then she said "everyone is telling you the same thing!" I only talked to both of them twice.

SO, I need to make a choice of staying home with our 86 year old mother who just came home from the hospital last week after a 9 day stay, requiring MUCH EXTRA CARE (multiple health issues) or lose the merchandise. I called the local Wooster, Ohio Store and all they said was SORRY, no more extensions, one two day extension only. So much for ever buying at Kohls Again !!
