This is a really beautiful store, and the grounds are gorgeous too. When I was a child I think we went here one year to get our Christmas tree. I really enjoyed the high end furniture and the decor of the store. The restaurant closes after lunch, so I have't eaten there in years, but I remember it being pretty good too. The shop is huge and there are three levels with a lot of unique Christmas decor and such. They also sell home furnishings, plush leather sofas, pretty lamps, and things of this nature. The grounds are just lovely. Although it's kind of off the beaten-path, it is worth a detour, especially if you're heading down to Amish Country.

First time visit to the Pine Tree Resort restaurant in Wooster, OH and it was fantastic! I needed to find a restaurant between Columbus and Kent and found this one just by luck. There were 9 of us and I was pleased they took reservations because the place was busy. The food was good and the service was excellent!!!! Only negative was the restrooms were on the lower level. Would be hard to get to if handicapped. The place has stores attached which was fun to look around. I wish I had more time to browse. There are pictures, furniture, Christmas shop and that's just on the first floor. I never made it up to the second level and just peaked around on the lower level.

I visit downtown Wooster quite often because there are many cute shops, and I've heard a lot about…read morePoppy so I decided to check it out. This boutique is really cute, very well decorated, and very nice clothes/jewelry. I have been there several times and have yet to purchase anything. First of all, these prices are outrageous. $200+ for a regular pair of jeans? That's crazy! Whether I find a necklace, tee shirt, shoes, or pants, I'm guaranteed to be spending over $30. Secondly, as much as I've came in to look around, I have never been properly greeted by employees. That's a bummer to me, I'm big on a welcoming environment where I'm going to be spending my money. This boutique is great quality and always clean. I can say, I'm really impressed with the "Alex & Ani" bracelet cabinet. It's impossible to find anything Alex & Ani around here, so I am quite happy about that. The clothes seem to be good quality, and are indeed very fashionable. I just can't bring myself to spending so much when there's other places around offering similar styles for a cheaper price. I do hope to see this place stay around the area, but until prices are lowered I can't see it getting the business it deserves.

I came to yelp to write a review about the store, "Poppy" in Wooster. To my surprise, some one…read moreelse wrote a review that expresses my thoughts. I have been to this store two times. The first time, I felt the staff to be very rude. Not one person greeted us, nor did they ask if they could help us. Yesterday, my daughter and I returned to the store that we had been in about 4 month earlier. We received the exact treatment. The beautiful lady that was working there DID NOT have a smile on her face and did not greet us. We thought we were the only ones in the store. There was another mother and daughter in the store trying on some clothes. They were putting the clothes back on the rack. The worker rudely said, I can put them back. I loved the comment from the customer as I am sure she felt the rudeness too. The customers response was "am I not doing a good enough job or don't you want me to do this." I loved that she commented back! Just like Lauren C's comment. The worker did not thank us for stopping. I guess we did not look "good enough" to shop at Poppy's. Returning back to the store again....I don't think so. Do they even care

Came across this small, yet nice showroom inside the Liberty Street Commons building while looking…read morefor The Faithful Little Cupcake (which is downstairs, BTW). They are a part of Orrville's Runions' Furniture and carry various styles of furniture: couches, tables, beds, mattresses, lighting, home accents and misc gifts. They have the typical big name furniture brands like Serta and La-Z-Boy but also modern styling and patterns from brands like Trica, Norwalk and Steven Shell, the former I've always liked. They're also carrying Luminara candles and Coblentz chocolates, I'm guessing for the upcoming holiday season. If you're not in the market for furniture have a walk through to experience all they have. You might find something small for you or a friend. Friendly staff that aren't at all pushy. There's a side showroom of discounted items, which has a clever name, but forget what it is.

You'll get ideas for decorating and possibly see things you might want to buy years down the road. Roomscapes stocks a lot of unique items that you just won't find in other stores and I personally think their quality is very good. Sometimes they get in one-of-a-kind unique items too. Example, you love that gorgeous wood table with the glass and tile inlay? That's the only one they've got and it didn't come out of catalog - someone made it in a studio in Southern Ohio. Same with some of their decorative art pieces. Fish Furniture or Levin's this is NOT. Which is why I love this store! It's half art gallery - half furniture store. Oh and they deliver to the CLE area. Awesome!
