It was not busy (Tuesday around noon) at all yet a security guard greeted me outside and opened the door for me. Upon entry, I examined a few home/stationery items on the front table then made my way through the sales floor, from left to right, and did a full circle/figure eight within 5-6 minutes while scoping the scene. As a retail manager myself, I pay keen attention to details, service approaches and proactive engagement from sales staff when in an establishment. To say I was appalled wouldn't fully capture the disgust felt when exiting that place. Clearly service with a smile is only rendered to select clientele and the merchandising was overwhelmingly tacky with so much product crammed onto the bland shelving and atop tables, inside casing. I didn't understand the hype previously heard and definitely was unimpressed after encountering the atmosphere for myself. I had money to spend and was frolicking for the day while visiting family in town yet Joseph's missed an opportunity to connect with and secure a new customer for life via inconsiderate and unprofessional staff/discriminatory culture. I have worked for several luxury brands in TX (LV, Ralph Lauren, Neiman Marcus) and fully know what true service and attentiveness look like. The staff I observed were unconcerned with greeting nor serving me as I subsequently read in previous reviews from others. What a shame that this company promotes such behavior and does not value all people who take the time and consideration to visit their store. Never again. Do better.

So since they could not reach me they scheduled someone else in my space before the appointment even started. I am so upset because I have planned this facial for over a month. And was waiting to purchase my usual skin care products during my facial. This put the icing on the cake for me with this store and their racist sales staff. I recommend you do not shop there!!! Right now, I average 10.5 miles a day I'd say 6-7 miles a day are in my "walking shoes" at least. Some days more, some less. I love to eat good food you see, so walking and exercise is a must not to die an early death. I mean I eat and drink 3-4k calories a day most days! Anyway, I was going through NB shoes every 60-70 days with inserts. That is $200 plus every other month. That shit was interfering with my other shoe game quite a bit. I like nice brand new shoes you see... I had been shopping for walking shoes at NB Memphis and that's all they sell. I decided to give FF a try and see what they had to say. I went in, got scanned, and was told I needed a size 12. I questioned this because I wear a size 11.5 in almost all shoes. I listened to Max explain why I needed a bigger shoe with reluctance. He said my left foot was 11.7 and my right was 11.5. I was a dumbass and bought them. Fast forward 40 days and I have blisters on top of blisters on my right foot. The damn shoes were just sliding up and down on my foot every single step. After a long walk with steep hills last weekend I'd had enough and decided to test their 60 day no matter what return policy. To my surprise and joy, they gave me a new pair of 11.5 shoes with zero bullshit about it. I hate they steered me wrong initially but I am now a customer for life! I can get the exact same shoe for the exact same price at Academy Sports for a cheaper tax rate. I will not do this! AS would never give me another pair of shoes after I had beaten them up for weeks. Long live Fleet Feet!! You guys are pretty rad man.
