I had to share this since there are worthy experiences to be shared and acknowledged as it was today , I went to do a quick return at the perfume counter at Macy's today and was assisted by David , he was patient, helpful and very knowledgeable but above all he went above and beyond to help me test out fragrances even though he knew I was not going to purchase anything at this time. This show his genuine concerns for the customer and built rapport with me, I will definitely come back and request him, if you are looking for a fragrance and or makeup , I highly recommend him. Gorgeous lady in a hot pink dress, she rocked, was beyond precious to my elderly mother, and her friend with a lovely accent and long dark hair, I just wanted to take them home. I love this Macy's! This is my go to location for all of the latest trends. In every department they are always fully stocked with merchandise, the staff is friendly, and I ALWAYS get what I came for! This store is located in the Wolfchase Mall. It is surrounded by a plethora of shoppes and eateries and I appreciate that..haha! Every time I visit I always stop my MAC Cosmetics (check out my pictures). I am such a girly girl, even if I am not buy I always stop through to just try out lip colors. This location is definitely one to stop by, I can guarantee you will be satisfied! read more

After purchasing six pair of Ralph Loren sport socks from Macy's I figured the quality would be a little better. First day - four mile walk, picture speaks for itself. Flimsy, thin cheaply made socks. I wear a 10.5 shoe size and ordered socks to fit 10 to 13. No dice. Any activity in these is a waste of good $$$. You are better served by JC Penny or Dillard's sport socks with a lesser price and much higher quality. read more

Good for makeup specials but clothing for plus sizes tends to be not made of cotton, silk or wool and very ugly floral predominates. I didn't see any Ralph Lauren or Eileen Fisher or Eileen West. Leather jackets are PVC at leather prices. I have scored a few Coach bags on sale. They have tables full of purses in every color right now from house label to MK and Coach. read more

I walking through Macy's and I saw a women's / juniors area- I started searching for blouses. About 10 minutes later I scored two blouses for 25% :) So I headed to the check out line and I was next the cashier asked if I had a Macy's card- Me: No, thank you/ and if I wanted to apply for a Macy's- Me: No, thank you. She also asked if I wanted to pre-sign up for a shopping discount day stating about sales being 30% off on a designated day- Me: No, thank you-- (I know me shopping today was on the spur of the moment but if I actually pre-pay for a shopping day then I'm obliged) The sales associate was friendly and very informative. I did appreciate that. The last thing that she mentioned that if I had a PLENTI card that I should use my points before they expire (on/by May 3rd) -- because NO LONGER will PLENTI card/ app be to excepted at Macy's and all points will be unusable after that date of May 3, 2018. Decided to take a stroll in the mall and checked out this Macy's. I walked in and there's a beautiful Starbucks right at the entrance which was convenient for shoppers. The Macy's itself is huge! Unfortunately I ended up not purchasing anything because the selection of clothing was quite matronly on one end and then teen on the other extreme. I couldn't find a clearly delineated section for individuals more in the 20-30s range. Also, I noticed inconsistencies in their pricing signs which were really frustrated. They had two different displays of the same items at different prices and then the items were scanning for something different as well. I ended up just leaving as it was too frustrating to try to shop here. read more

This was the biggest Macy's ever. I loved that the juniors section was like entering a completely different store. They had a great sale and was well stocked. The dressing rooms however looked like a dump site I was quite shocked to see a Macy's that unattended to. I couldn't get pictures of all of them just mine. The shoppers should be ashamed but also the staff should be checking the rooms there were over 20 items thrown about each room. The amount of dust was also proof that their cleanliness is definitely lacking. I took two handfuls of clothes out of the room just to clear the chair and still had no room to hang the items and dropped my shirt and it was dirty and grossed me out to have to put it back on. read more

Today was one of my best visits to Macy's ever. I had to exchange a couple of outfits that were purchased for my daughter for thanksgiving. The cashier was very polite and friendly. Macy's didn't have the same outfits that were purchased for my daughter. They were going to be too big. They did have some other adorable outfits. I got one for my daughter that will fit her and be precious for pictures of her first Thanksgiving. Normally, Macy's MAC counter at Wolfchase gives excellent customer service. Today, I went and was totally disappointed. I selected a product and stood at the counter only to received no acknowledgement from either of the TWO MAC representatives. Because of this treatment, I replaced the MAC product and went to a competitor's counter. I was offered immediate assistant and found a great product that served my need. With customer service of this type, MAC may soon lose me as a loyal customer. read more

Pros: lots of sales and helpful people. They even price match the current Macys.com price if you give them the web ID to verify at the register. Variety of departments including petites!!!! Cons: after a sale, you'll realize just how messy other customers can be since things are strewn all over the place and in the wrong racks! But that's inevitable. Overall not a 5 because it's not as big as other Macys so I tend to have to order my size a lot. Also wish they were like Target in having the same price online and in store. Though I do love that shipping is waived for orders $50+ before tax or any coupons! read more

I used to love this Macy's store in the Wolfchase Galleria. After being treated rudely and being disrespected not once, but twice by a sales associate named DESTINEE, I will never do business with Macy's again. I was looking for a sales associates to make a purchase. After walking the entire store, every employee I saw had an excuse for why they couldn't ring my purchases. When I finally found someone at a register, I was asking if she could take care of me, DESTINEE interrupted me mid-sentence, yelling in my face, cutting me off. I think she thought if she screamed loudly enough, I would shut up. Then she told me someone in the shoe department would take me. In the mist of all of this I told her that she was being rude and disrespectful. But she wouldn't stop. When I walked over to the shoe department I was trying to explain to the associate what happened and she INTERRUPTED ME YET AGAIN, screaming in my face. I wasn't talking to her the first time that she did this and I wasn't talking to her then. I have no idea why Macy's would employ someone who knows nothing about how to treat people decently. I'm a 66 year old woman who walks with a cane due to having spinal surgery. DESTINEE appeared to be about 18-19 years old. What made her think it was ok to verbally attack someone like me is a mystery. All I wanted to do was pay for a couple of items. She should be fired. There is absolutely no excuse for her behavior. I wish Macy's wasn't so much of a pain to wade though in Memphis. This place gives me a big honking headache just thinking about going into. No one will ever help you. You will be left on your own to battle against all the unorganized racks of clothes and other disgruntled customers. Don't bring a stroller and think you will get anywhere. Don't bring an average size woman because it's all about petite, plus size, or juniors. Don't bring anyone with short attention span. Went to Macys today to exchange two items and was treated very rudely by some associate named Vera. They didn't have the size I wanted so I had to return the items instead. They say they have an easy return and exchange policy but I was told that they had a new policy about removing tags even though she remembered me, I had my receipt and the card that I paid for them with. Not to mention the security guard followed me around the store and kept eyeballing me like I was a thief. It made me very uncomfortable, so I just took pictures of the jeans I wanted and I will order them online. I will NEVER return to this store again and I will probably never return to Wolfchase Galleria again. It wont be long before they close the mall anyway because it is being overrun by hoodlums. read more

I've been a long time Macys customer of over 30 years until today. I went in to the mens department to buy a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt that was on sale for 59.99. On the same sign as the advertised price, it said to use your Macy's card to get an extra 15% off of the item, so I decided to buy it. Mind you, these 15% signs were on several of the Polo racks. I got rang up and the girl said it was $59.99. I asked her why I didn't get 15% off. At first, she thought she did something wrong, but it didn't work again, so she got her manager over. The manager (a blonde woman in her mid 40s-50s if you go there to see who it was) was extremely rude and said, "I didn't put the sign up," shrugged, and walked away. When I asked her why I wasn't getting the discount, she again said that she didn't put up the sign and that was that! This is false advertisement! I ended up not getting the shirt there and went to Dillards across the other end of the mall and got the same shirt. I ended up paying $59.99, but it was a principle issue. read more

Went to Macy at wolf chase Memphis tn. Worse customer service ever! Ask for help 2 times only to get a manager to walk off. Attitude as if I was bothering her. Finally after an hour helped myself and found someone to check us out. Ask for manager and was told he was not on site. I will never shop at this location ever! They seriously need customer service. I recently move here from DC Metro. I went to Macy's to use gift cards I had received as going away presents. I'll be honest and say up front that I have not been happy with Macy's business practices for a few years. In fact, I closed my Macy's account last year out of frustration with their dwindling customer service. Back to this Macy's, I was very happy with the person at the Clinique counter. I'm not going to mention her name because in our conversation she mentioned how her coworkers were "not very bright." I agree. As I walked through the rest of the store, I heard employees at the jewelry counter and in the clothing section using vulgar language, including racial slurs and curse words. I've never regretted closing my account like the Macy's rep from Texas assured me that I would. This latest trip to Macy's proved even more to me that there's really nothing left there for me anymore. Sad. read more

I love it here! They have such a great selection of products. Everything is extremely well set up. I love everything. The children's clothes selection is fantastic! I love all the handbags. The make up is great. I like how they sell high end make up in case what I'm looking for isn't in Sephora. The people working here have always been very helpful! There was a great selection of prom dresses. The clearance is always fun to go through. I love how organized everything is. Macy's is a very large store with a massive customer base. I have shopped at this location for years, and have never had an issue with customer service. My only complaint is that the store may be understaffed. The sales associates are responsible for ringing purchases, keeping the floor as clean as possible, and straightening the fitting rooms. With the amount of customers that this store sees daily, you cannot expect the store to be 100% perfect all of the time, but the sales associates definitely try to keep everything presentable. What other reviewers are forgetting is that the messes on display tables and fitting rooms are made by other customers, not by the associates. While it is the associates job to try to keep their area clean, you cannot blame them for the actual mess. If you've never had a job where you deal with hundreds of customers daily, many of which probably aren't exactly pleasant, you wouldn't understand. read more
