Right now, I average 10.5 miles a day I'd say 6-7 miles a day are in my "walking shoes" at least. Some days more, some less. I love to eat good food you see, so walking and exercise is a must not to die an early death. I mean I eat and drink 3-4k calories a day most days! Anyway, I was going through NB shoes every 60-70 days with inserts. That is $200 plus every other month. That shit was interfering with my other shoe game quite a bit. I like nice brand new shoes you see... I had been shopping for walking shoes at NB Memphis and that's all they sell. I decided to give FF a try and see what they had to say. I went in, got scanned, and was told I needed a size 12. I questioned this because I wear a size 11.5 in almost all shoes. I listened to Max explain why I needed a bigger shoe with reluctance. He said my left foot was 11.7 and my right was 11.5. I was a dumbass and bought them. Fast forward 40 days and I have blisters on top of blisters on my right foot. The damn shoes were just sliding up and down on my foot every single step. After a long walk with steep hills last weekend I'd had enough and decided to test their 60 day no matter what return policy. To my surprise and joy, they gave me a new pair of 11.5 shoes with zero bullshit about it. I hate they steered me wrong initially but I am now a customer for life! I can get the exact same shoe for the exact same price at Academy Sports for a cheaper tax rate. I will not do this! AS would never give me another pair of shoes after I had beaten them up for weeks. Long live Fleet Feet!! You guys are pretty rad man.

This time was as wonderful, if not more so, than our other experiences here. Daughters heading to camp, in search of some new chacos as hers were too small. They always have a pretty great selection of chacos, Tevas , outdoor sandals. We had excellent help and the sweet lady didn't tire of bringing out more options/color schemes and offering suggestions.. as my daughter is weird about shoe colors. She was also very knowledgeable about the product and sizes etc. lovely experience and we will back!! The young lady who checked us out was great too. I wish I'd of gotten their names.. the you g lady who checked us out is home for the summer I believe from Colorado, to help in the store. Staff was knowledgeable and looked like they actually partake of the outdoors and outdoor activities using the gear for sale here. I found a backpacking pack I'd had my eye on for a bit and the price was good so I went ahead and got it. Good selection of clothes and gear, not as much as REI but a good selection nonetheless. I've known about this place for a while but just hadn't managed to stop in but made the effort to today when I was in the area. I'll definitely come back here again for camping/hiking stuff.

If you get help from an employee, they are often knowledgeable and helpful. In my experience, when you first walk in, you're practically accosted by employees offering their assistance. Before you've even had a chance to look at anything. But once you get your ass properly inside the store and you're doing some shopping and comparing, you'd have better luck playing pickup sticks with your butt cheeks than getting the attention of an employee to answer your questions.

I love the whole membership program and how you get rewarded for shopping. I love the kickback at the end of the year and the special sales they offer to members. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I'll give a short account of my visit: - Arrived and began looking at suits with my fiancee to get a feel for the color we wanted for our wedding. - A gentleman named Rob came over and offered to take me to the section with my size, and had me put on a few jackets. My fiancee had many questions, and Rob could not have been more helpful answering each. - Rob was terrifically respectful about mentioning the price of each suit, as well as more expensive options. I didn't feel slightly pressured to pay more. My budget was actually pretty high, but I was pleased with the way he handled it (a younger me with less money would have been happy). - Rob spent over an hour with me, helping me try on suits, answering my fiancee's questions, showing me suit fabrics (I'm going to have a custom suit made for my wedding), and eventually marking up the two suits I bought for work. Overall, I felt like I was the most important customer in the store. I will be a lifelong customer if everybody treats their customers like Rob did. Bonus: Rob mentioned that they would do the tailoring for my groomsmen's suits if we purchased them from a more affordable chain (most live out of town, and have more modest budgets), to make sure the fit is right.

That means I got two pair of dress shoes that were $89.99 each, on sale, for $69.99 with a 1/2 price pair and the loyalty discount ($10) for $103. Not too shabby! I always find cute sandals, crocs or tennis shoes for my daughters at Rack Room, and will spend a good chunk of time gazing over the sale merchandise. Both of my daughters are so obsessed with shoes that I believe I might be raising a couple of mini Carrie Bradshaws. Seriously, their first words were Dada, Momma and shoes. Being able to find bargains for these two is a great feat. I usually find a couple of cute pairs for myself at reasonable prices, and have confidence that they will last a while. I am still wearing a pair of cowboy boots that I bought about a decade ago, so the quality is really great. Stylish, but not too trendy, Rack Room is a fave with me and my girls.
