Normally I love this library. Super cute, chill ambiance, and usually really quiet. I come here to do work and study for finals. You don't come to a library to talk first of all The two librarians were talking for a good 30 mins. I arrived on Tuesday, December 15th after 5pm. Granted, they were not very loud, but you can hear consistent whispering through the silence. I should not have to use my ear plugs at a library.... The guy sitting behind us decides to have a loud phone call for who knows how long. Long enough to be annoying and disrupt my studying. Can we be espectful in a library please? Just go outside or stay home. I am here to study and I purposely left my house to focus. Usually a wonderful experience, but just not the best today if you wanted a fully quiet place to study. I will come again, just not another Tuesday night. read more

I love this library. The staff is great and helpful. It's a nice space to hang out and get work done as it has study rooms for you to go in on a first come first serve basis. Norco Public Library also has great resources that one can utilize. It's not the grandest library, but it's simple and accessible for the Corona, Norco, and Eastvale communities. read more

I really like this library. It is the closest in the neighborhood much better than the other one near them which is inside a school. If you can't find a book here it's always easy to order one and it will ship from another library in the area here. It does not take long either. My first time coming here, I usually went to Eastvale Library. It was relatively easy to locate, Google Map takes you right to the location and there is an ample number of parking spaces available in the private parking lot. When you enter the shopping complex, it might seem confusing because the sign is hidden behind a tree. I can easily spend hours here! I like the way it's organized - very easy to find things! My favorite section is the "NEW BOOKS" section - I usually try to find a book there every time I go to one. I had reserved some books for pickup, it was convenient to grab them from the "ON HOLD" shelf from the middle. The service was good, met two staff members and they were friendly. The library is kept neat and organized. One more thing I like about this is that if they don't have a book I am looking for they will put me on the waiting list and get it from different locations. read more

I wish people would read more. I think people need libraries more than ever. I've recently moved into the nearby area. After getting settled in, one of my first "needs" is to find a library. I was able to drive by during a weekday (they have great hours), and asked at the counter to apply for a library card. It took less than 10 minutes to get me into their system, and I was able to access the Libby app almost immediately to start borrowing ebooks and audiobooks. Staff was nice. They absolutely new what the processes were, and were cognizant of next steps. I took a quick peek of the entire library, and it's quite small. There are areas where you could bring a laptop and work, though I don't know if there are private rooms in case you need to take a call. If you're coming in to borrow books, they have an okay selection, but it's really not that much. They have a handful of books on each topic, and they may have the newest books, but it depends on the book circulation and if other patrons have checked out certain books. I ended up not borrowing any physical books, but did start borrowing ebooks and audiobooks via the Libby app (and my new library card). Parking lot is decent. I think there's probably a dozen spaces. It doesn't seem like this library gets super-frequented, though, so there's a chance that you'll always find a parking space if you visit. read more

Checked in today to hunt for a Feng Shui information book and Mia was a terrific Librarian Heroine! Mia greeted me warmly with strong eye contact the Moment I walked in, and when I asked her for assistance on where I could find books on Feng Shui Mia warmly walked Me over to the section were they were located with Spirited Enthusiasm and Extra Hospitable Kindness. I asked Mia if She was reading anything good at the Moment and She was able to give Me a Fun Rainbow of Recommendations all from different Genres! (Graphic Novels, Mysteries, Romances). I really appreciate Mia's Sharp and Professionally Engaging Finesse and how She leads by Example to make sure our Literature Diet is fully balanced and Healthy :0) Thank You Mia for being You!!! read more

Took my 4 year old here for the first time. It was her first time ever being in a library and the experience was pretty good, during a pandemic and all. You have to be masked and you can only stay for an hour. Also only 8 people allowed inside at one time I believe. read more

I've been going here for years but recently it seems like they're internet isn't good. I can never connect my laptop even though I move around the whole library and try to connect like the librarian told me to. They need better internet and it would be the perfect library. They don't offer any real help with trying to connect. read more

I visited this library Saturday 5/20/17 just out curiosity. It was actually the first time I had seen it. We have been going to the Corona Library although the Eastvale one (located in Roosevelt High school) is closest. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised, yet a little disappointed. The good outweighs the bad for me. It's small but the ambience was great. I will definitely come back. They don't have a huge select but they are apart of the Riverside system so you can request books and pick them up there. The children's section was very nice. The staff was helpful and pleasant also when I inquired about obtaining a library card. It's a nice little library! I prefer this one over the Eastvale Library in the High school. read more

The location is very clean and is smaller in size. I had the worst experience. I brought my school-aged children here to study after school. We whispered intermittently while my children were completing their homework. There was a patron seated adjacent to us who kept leering at myself and my children. I found it uncomfortable but I did not pay her any mind. The volume of the conversations that were taking place at the nearby counter were 10x that of our intermittent whispers. Before you know it, the Manager Luz Wood passively-agressively asked if we needed a study room. She did not introduce herself and I put two and two together and realized that we were reported by the patron. She treated us as though we had committed a federal offense and was very stern. She did not bother to assess the situation and advised us to occupy a study room. This was so unprofessional and after having loaded up the kids, I approached Manager Wood and advised her that I was thoroughly offended. All she said was that once a patron complains action must be taken. She said that the situation had escalated and she was compelled to act upon it. She did explain that she realized that it was very loud at the front counter and any additional whispering exacerbates the lack of quietness. I told her that there were not any signs that prohibited whispering and she kept referring to the fact that once a patron complains, action must be taken. I highly recommend that this branch revisits policies and practices related to complaints. You cannot just drive people out of their seats without an explanation. I was appalled at the lack of respect and professionalism. Manager Wood, if you had looked closer at the situation you would have realized that we were discriminated against. Your lack of awareness, assessment, and tactfulness enabled this. Manager Wood, I recommend you read the book titled, "White Fragility," by Robin DiAngelo. Also please take a refresher on workplace discrimination and bullying. Thank you. read more

This library is so welcoming, organized, clean, and beautiful. We loved how the rooms--especially the children's area-- was filled with natural sunlight. The large windows make the space feel inviting and cheerful. The Halloween decor was lovely and creative! We are looking forward to coming back for the bilingual storytime! read more

Per my dad's recommendation, I came here looking for a place to study while staying with my parents. He said it was quiet because it's in BFE and a good place to focus. He was certainly right about the BFE part. I got lost along the way (If you pass a bridge with a stream of water running underneath it, you've gone too far). The library, and the city of Norco for that matter, is located in a ranch type town (A lot of the eggs you find in the supermarket are from Norco). The library itself looks like a general store and even hosts a Horse Library. Yes, a dedicated library all about horses for these local cowboys. Yee haw. Needless to say, this isn't much of a library. There were only about three communal tables inside, all of which were in use, and no carrels or private study areas. Not much of anything really, including books. I was amused by the bargain bins, however, and found some familiar CD classics from N'Sync, Alanis Morisette, and Mariah Carey for a buck each. Used, of course. A nearby venue next to the library hosts Bingo Night and square dancing events, gotta love that. And next door to the library is a small book store full of used or donated materials. I found the whole ordeal of discovering this place pretty entertaining, considering it's not everyday someone from LA stumbles across an old western town with dirt roads, cowboy boot and supply emporiums, and horse libraries. That isn't to say that this place is completely free of urban influence. I saw a real cowboy in SPURS order a frap at a drive-thru Starbucks on horse back. read more

Took my boys to the bilingual story time today for the first time and I was completely impressed! Ms Irene was engaging and the kids loved her. The stories and singing and dancing was great but the best part was the craft time. Completely set up for the kids with a beautiful and easy to make craft. I come here to study as much as possible. Its a clean, clear environment however, the staff can be very loud in the staff room or at the front desk. If you need to be here for a long period of time I highly suggest a study room or at least earbuds to block out all distractions. I personally hope they become more strict with the noise level. read more

I recently started going to this library based on a recommendation from a friend. The library is definitely small but there is a lot packed into it. The library is part of the Riverside County Library system so if the Norco branch doesn't have a book you need they can have it sent over from another library. The library also has a lot of programs for kids like reading time for toddlers and crafts for grade school age kids. read more

My 2-1/2 year old daughter has been coming to the Norco Library for about 1 month now! She participates in weekly preschool story time! They read books, sing songs and do really cute crafts!! I'm so impressed with all of the FREE programs they have for kids, and occasionally have programs in the afternoon that working parents can attend with their children as well! I really love our town and appreciate having a library that sparks my daughters imagination and yearn to read and create! read more

This is a good library if you have kids. The adult reading sections aren't very expansive. Even so, I have been able to find what I'm looking for every time. Their bargain bins have some decent stuff in there sometimes. They have a pretty good selection of kids books, magazines, and movies. Also, I love the events they have a couple times a week or so. Great to take the kids to, and it doesn't cost anything! BTW, it is easy to pass this place up if you're traveling down Hamner. I get onto Sierra, and then make a Left at Detroit. The road to the library is on the left, just before you pass over the freeway. read more

Great library for children! Small, cozy, and easy to access books. Fun story time for kids including music, storytelling, and arts & crafts! There are many other events for older children throughout the month. The Norco Library is part of the RIverside County Public Library System therefore from the comfort of your home you can order any book from this system and pick it up at the front desk while your children browse for books! read more

Looks can be deceiving. This library is awesome. The wifi is fast and there are not many people who actually come here to study. It may look a little worn down, but it has a great collection of books, along with a friendly staff. Definitely will be coming often here to study. read more

This library is so god damn loud. i went here a few times to study and if its not the kids running around its the librarians gossiping and giggling the entire time. its small so i didnt expect much. book selection is not that great but you have requested books sent there for pick up. there are only a handful of public computers. theres wifi but its contantly down for whatever reason. overall if youre looking for a quiet library this is definitely not the place to do. read more
