I see all the older reviews and to be honest , I think that with time this library must have gotten better because my experience has only been positive. It is always nice and quiet inside , everyone is doing their own thing whether it's on the computers or studying. They always have kindness corner crafts in stock along with a wonderful selection of books. I really enjoy the vast array of independent poetry books they have. The workers are always helpful and patient with me too. I like that this branch is not overly crowded and truly has that community library feel . read more

I honestly don't like the noise when I'm trying to read or do any school assignments. Btw, The stuff is nice, not gonna lie. They're always helpful and ready to assist you with any issues you may have. It's great! But this place is like a playground for kids and adults. There's no control. People can talk Loader than a football coach and no one tells them anything. Kids can run, scream, whatever... no one tells them anything. (Not even their parents ) I'm sorry but I don't recommend this place if you're trying to study, do assignments, or just read a book. read more

There was a time where I went in, and I was using the computer, and one of the older ladies was yelling at someone that was right next to me really loud! because she was using her mothers/daughters card and she wasn't supposed to. She was telling her that she couldn't do that. A few weeks later I go back, and access on my card was being denied so I go up to the desk and I'm telling the lady that my card isn't working, and she starts yelling at me and telling me that I was letting someone use my card, and it wasn't me!! it was the person that was being yelled at that was sitting next to me and they put a block on the wrong card and she was just yelling at me and insisted that I let someone use my card. I told her it wasn't me and we went back-and-forth so I just let it go because it was getting to the point where it was embarrassing. Ladies you really need to get with it. With the amount of noise -- crying babies, screaming children running amok, and loud conversations even amongst the librarians themselves -- the place feels like a daycare, my personal hellhole. Need a quiet place to study? Don't come here unless you have noise canceling headphones or the superhuman ability to block out children and babies. There is zero attempt to manage the noise level. Libraries being a quiet, peaceful place where whispering is strictly enforced is a foreign concept here. Shame! (On the plus side, they have one study room that you can reserve. It's an old 70s library (but most are). I do appreciate the free wi-fi there, but there is limited seating. The restrooms are clean and the selection of books and media is minimal. read more

Do not come to this library if you want to be treated badly. Apparently "Olivia" doesn't understand how to greet someone or be polite, when I first walked in and asked for a library card she was rude and not helpful, spoke with an attitude. Meanwhile her coworker was polite and helpful. read more

So disappointing! One often chooses to come to the library for a QUIET place to study, however the noise level in this establishment is on par with the local mall. Kids running amok and screaming while adults too carry on conversations - quite loud as they increase their volume to struggle with all the other conversations of all the other adults that should know better. I came here to study in quiet and ended up leaving within 10 minutes of being here. If you need a book come on by, but if you are looking for a LIBRARY that conforms to standards and allows people peace and quiet in order to read or study or whatever they choose, DO NOT COME HERE! read more

Conveniently located Library. has its own parking lot. The library has its own computer lab kinda like one you would see at a community college. You have access to 2 hours. You can put books on hold for free and pick up at the location of your choosing. read more

I love their system of reserving books from any library and then picking it up. I wish their drive up drop box would be on the left side so I didn't have to get out, and sometimes parking is a little crowded. This is a larger library and easy to use. Adding to my wish list is the online computer system like Anaheim, where they email the receipt to you. I like to keep track of my books. read more

Don't come to this library if u truly need to study. The librarians let this library be treated like a starbucks. People speaking like they're at a football game, people speaking on their cell phones. It is very loud. There is one study room for the whole library, which is authorized for one person for two hours to study in the study space, first come first serve. Tax dollars working at its best. read more

Recently made a visit in hopes to look for a book ,but instead I got rudeness for asking a simple question to research a business book. It was unprofessional and unecsssry for the libaren to complain and roll her eyes when asking for help. They notified me that I owed them some money for late fee returning my books and dvd, over a month later! And I come at least every other week to borrow and return, and I am sure I was not late to return because I have them email me when the books or dvds are due. They didn't care when I argued, because I could not prove something that had happened over 2 weeks ago (because I already got rid all of the slips after I returned them). And it happened twice !!! read more

The librarian and staff (unlike Arlanza) are people friendly and helpful. I always like it when I need to go to the library. I especially appreciate their receptive attitude toward tutors and children being tutored. They even have free math tutoring on specific days. read more
