This library is gorgeous. It is a hidden jewel within the woodstreets. It has unique hours that allow you to go here when other libraries are closed. There is plenty of spaces for the kids to do homework or activities. They also have great community relationships if you need anything conference room for a meeting. This library is clean with nice staffing, willing to assist. I would definitely return return! read more

A classic library feel, very clean and kid friendly. Friendly and kind staff- some libraries have a reputation for the staff not being very personable. Outside has a large grassy area and little nature path that my son very much appreciated. I also saw that they have story time on Thursday's for kids at 10:00 am! read more

This is one the nicest libraries in riverside. As well as the casa Blanca library. The woodcrest library is a little bigger then casa blanca library, but not by much. Bonuses: It's definitely kid friendly. As well there's a nice sitting area outside. read more

This is a nice quiet library. I love the abundance of study tables and chairs. Around the perimeter, there are more chairs and study tables to use. As a college student, all I need to succeed is a study table, chair and an outlet. This library has plenty of these things. I would definitely recommend this library to college students trying to study. My only complaint is the tables are too crammed together. But overall, this is a great library. read more

This is a really small library tucked away on one of many hills in Riverside, and there aren't too many books here, but the place is clean and spacious. There are tons of spots for people to sit down to read in. There's also a lot of greenery outside, as well as park benches, for lounging. Also bike racks, which is a bonus. Today there was a robot convention here, and that's why I made my way here all the way from Irvine. Now THAT was pretty cool. Apparently it's a monthly thing here on Saturdays, and the robot shows and exhibits were pretty legit. Best of all, it was all free. read more

Great little library. It took me a while to find this place but I'm glad I did. I don't mean to sound like a snoot but this is definitely more upscale than the usual public libraries. It is made of stone and wood and it is simply a lovely, quiet place to study. read more

Woodcrest Library is an awesome place to get away from your distracting life. It is nestled away in the back of Woodcrest right off of Krameria and Washington. The library itself is fairly recent, built in 2007 and is a nice building! There is free wifi here and plenty of spots to sit and do homework or read. I don't know too much about their book selection as I primarily went to do homework but it did not seem too large however they did have a children's section so this would be a great place to bring a kid or two and put them in the children's section while you work on other things. Also the library staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! I would definitely recommend this library if you are in the Woodcrest area, it's a little hidden secret! read more

With my kids out of school for the winter break, I thought we'd head over to the library and check it out...staff were helpful and friendly, kids section was nice...my kids spent more than an hour reading books, using ABCMOUSE.COM (free at the library) and playing with puzzles and building blocks. Was quite surprised how nice the library was...not huge, but well maintained and friendly! Totally would recommend for toddlers and elementary aged kids...even my 4 year old was entertained. A great find for our family...with new library cards in hand, we will surely be back in the future! read more

Great library! Quiet, clean, perfect study environment. It's never too crowded to find a nice, cozy spot to sit down read or study, which is a rarity these days. A plus is it's location--nestled back among small spacious hills out in the distance. Even better, you can log online and have books sent to this library if it's your home location--in my experience, they've been sent in a quick manner and I receive notifications when they've arrived. Staff is helpful and friendly. Restrooms are always clean. Overall, great environment. read more

Like everyone says, this library is great. It's beautifully designed, with dark, rich wood, classy tables, chairs, and lamps, free wifi, study rooms, and sizable kids' and teenagers' sections. It's small, but attractive and comfortable. The reason why I'm not giving this library five stars like everyone else, however, is frankly the amount of noise. I come here often, and 4/5 times I do, someone's having a loud conversation or some kid is screaming. The last time I went, I had an hour of quiet before someone was slamming books into shelves, a kid was screaming in the kids' center, and visitor after visitor were having loud and lengthy conversations with the librarians. I finally decided to leave when two guys at the computer station were 15 minutes strong into their conversation. The librarians are polite, enthusiastic, and helpful, but I wish they would do something about the noise. One time, seven or eight of kids released from the nearby school came in and started laughing and yelling. 20 minutes later, they were still screaming, and the staff had done nothing. I love this building, and make no mistake, the times when it's quiet are blissful, but it's just too loud too often. read more

This library provides the perfect atmosphere for studying and catching up on reading. The windows are large and have retractable shades that allow however much natural light you need to read. They also have private study rooms that come in handy for finals and midterms. This library is a college students dream. Plus the staff is very friendly unlike other public libraries where they are rude and in a hurry. read more

best library in town. it is small, and it is quaint. true, they dont have many books, but you can order from their network of libraries from the whole county! it takes a few days to arrive, and the staff is always super friendly. the location is clean and quiet inside and out with a nice garden just outside, great for my kids to play and venture. i love this place and its worth my commute. read more

Great venue, friendly staff, and usually quiet(except for when the nearby schools let out). I've heard some say that it gets noisy, but all you have to do is ask the staff to tell someone to stay quiet. They are technically not allowed to shush someone until they get a complaint, so they're not just ignoring it. Best summer reading program for kids, teens, AND adults by far! I've also heard some complain that the books should be alphabetized...hello it's a library, they are on the dewy decimal system just like all other public libraries. They've got a system and it works. Their collection may seem small, but if you can't find something you're looking for just ask the staff, they are more than willing to order it from one of the other branches. I recommend ordering books if you're doing a project and doing it at least a week before you actually need them. read more
