Back then, little did I know that I would actually need this library's resources. A company that we were dealing with decided to call us to small claims court. In my whole lifetime, I have never been sued. So this was a first for me. I didn't know what to do. When I came to this library for help and the staff guided me in the right direction. They put me in touch with a small claims adviser where I received help on what to do with my case. They also told me about an event they were holding that month where lawyers would come to the library to help people with their law questions. We came to this event, and we were able to talk to a lawyer about how to handle our case. All of this was a tremendous help. I am not involved with the law profession, however, I have always found the law and what lawyers do to be really interesting. I took it upon myself to go to this library to study on all the aspects of the law involving our case. The staff at this library cannot give law advise. However, if you ask them a question about a law, they will do their best to show you how to find information about that law. I came in so often that at one point in time, the staff members almost knew me on a first name basis. This library is filled with the most professional law books that anyone can find. It would cost a fortune to acquire the books that this library has. You can look up a law on the internet and get a limited amount of information on a law. However, if you look up the same law in the books at this library, you will find cross reference information to other cases that involve that law. It is like you are looking at a treasure trove of cross references to many other cases. You cannot find these kinds of links on the internet. It takes some learning to get to the information you need. This is where the staff will help you. I have found that this law library and other law libraries in other cities are great assets to have. I give the staff here a thumbs up for their great service to our community. By the way. The good news is we won our small claims case.

Had to check in the front & there was if I remember correctly an hour time limit. He said it was okay because it was slow for a Tuesday evening.

During finals week when everyone heads back onto campus to study after dinner, I guarantee that you will not find a table in Orbach until at least 10pm. Rivera? Go during finals week at 6pm, there will be a lot of tables open. Sure it's only open until 2am during finals, but by that point, you're practically dead already unless you're on addy or hella caffeine. Either way, you should treat yourself to the nice refreshing walk or drive over to Orbach at 12am when you know the seats will be open up. Alright, I gotta get back to studying for finals~

This place is usually packed floor to floor during finals week and midterms, too. Nonetheless, there is ample quantity of seating on each floor. A major flaw about this library is the incredibly dim lighting in some areas, so it's harder to concentrate when working on homework or studying. However, in the morning and afternoon, there is natural lighting that streams through the second floor windows, which somewhat makes up for the bad lighting in this library.

Henceforth,…read moreI've always been partial to visiting these institutions, which led to me selecting this location to collect vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots for the Riverside Registrar of Voters leading up to the Presidential Primary Election in early 2024. I spent many hours observing the patrons and employees, as well as wandering the facility, and these are the results. First, the location is excellent. Not far from the municipal buildings, fairly close to the 91 Freeway, and on the lower edge of the sloping foothills that makes Corona one of the least efficient cities to travel around. Fortunately, the library doesn't share that flaw. Inside is a long hallway lined with the circulation desk and many displays of artwork and Lego models. These are rotating decor, but it's fun to watch kids casting votes for the best item. Another grand hallway joins perpendicular to the main one and this leads to the extensive children's section, and also has passport services and a sizeable Friends of the Library bookstore (separate review for that). Computers, conference rooms, instructional classrooms, and study rooms are available. A couple other favorite areas Include the large boardgame section and Teens area with its impressive selection of Manga anime and studyhall. Even if the same bad middleschool kids got kicked out almost daily for being loud and obnoxious, it was entertaining. A co-worker commented one day after the second or third incident: "There's the instigator, the girl with the red sneakers." Good times. On a personal note, it's nice seeing that some kids still read and enjoy visiting the local library.

If you're not homeless I get it but I don't get it I never seen a library like this, never in my natural born life, don't come here you're probably gonna get robbed. They stole one of my cars from the gym across the street it's just not a good place they don't do nothing about it. so the homeless people just sit on the couch and nothing it's not a good library lol. and I go to sleep on the couch with a dirty shoes on the couch don't come here. if you do come here, you're going to feel very uncomfortable, and everybody is homeless in a library from the youth to the old.

Upon entering this library location, we were warmly greeted by a library employee. The library building layout is spacious and has clearly defined spaces for kids, teens, and adults. The water fountains and public bathrooms are currently closed however since the library is located in the mall, you can find a nearby bathroom by leaving the library.There are two public use computers available for public use as well as COVID-19 signage and hand sanitizer on tables throughout the library. I especially appreciated that they have a community resources binder available for the public to view and provides community members with the option to add any additional resources to the binder. With a laid back environment, colorful artwork on the walls, and friendly library staff, we will definitely be visiting this library location again soon.

There is plenty of free parking (the Main Library in Downtown Riverside is much bigger but has a limited number of free spaces and you would need tokens from the Kids Center librarian on kids activity days to pay if you're in a Pay-to-Park spots). Although this location has some homeless people outside sometimes, the inside is nice. Service: Staff have been very friendly these past few years from Mrs. Gloria, who's frequently seen at the main checkout counter or running the Baby Playtime and Preschool Playtime Hours, to the young ladies who assist with the crafts. Activities: In the summer (going on now) they have free lunch for kids under 18 on Mondays through Fridays. So you can take your young child to Baby Storytime on Tuesdays or Preschool Storytime on Wednesdays then stay for the lunch (Riverside City Program) between 12:00-1:30. Don't forget to sign up for their Summer Reading Program where your child can get a prize for every 5 books read or read to them if they're very young. Prizes (in order) include a free swim, free kid's meal at Old Spaghetti Factory, a free mini churro, free ice cream with purchase at First Class Pizza, Free Kid's Meal at Chipotle, Free kid's meal at Raising Cane's, Free personal pizza at Roundtable, Free 3 oz. yogurt at Yogurtland, Shop Riverside Discount Card, and a free book (select titles) at Barnes & Noble. They also have toys that can be checked out for two weeks. There's a catalog of toys including Legos and Magnatiles or dolls that can go home with the use of a library card.
