So what of it was going to cost me more in gas. But this is what has turned me off to them completely I drive out if the lot and got twenty miles away before the alert came on that tire pressure in the rear tire was at 18 psi. Okay maybe I hit a nail but I didn't think so. But we were too far away and stuck in traffic to turn around. We made it to our hiotel an hour away and that's when I noticed the key fob said in blah black letters FLAT TIRE. YES it was marked for having a flat !! I have spent probably a combined 90 minutes calling and being disconnected over and over. I called the emergency service number and they were no help at all! I brought the car to a tire shop to have air put in and they told me there was a screw in the tire! When I got back I then called the emergency number and finally got through. There was nothing she could do unless I wanted to drive the 95 minutes back to the airport and exchange it. I told her this was not going to happen so then she told me to call around to the tire stores, maybe they would fix it for free- FOR FREE! That is what she actually told me. I'm done with them. I have had Hertz try to double bill me, charge me extra because my wife might drive the car and the even once sneak in the insurance coverage !! They used to say in their ads they were number one. I can not see how that would be true today. Stay away from them wherever you're traveling. I would rather pay a little more and have the confidence in who I'll use next time.

He guided me through the whole process over text and also walked me through everything at the DMV on test day. Very easy to talk to and genuinely supportive. I have over 20 years of riding experience in another country, but the DMV test is honestly not that easy. Tom helped a lot by explaining exactly what to expect and pointing out common mistakes. Some tips for anyone planning to take the DMV route instead of the California Safety Program (which now costs around $425 and doesn't guarantee a pass): Book your skills test appointment before taking the written test - DMV appointments can take a few weeks, and you can schedule the skills test in advance. Make sure you study the motorcycle-specific handbook for the written test (it's different from the regular driver's handbook). Try doing a practice session with Tom before your actual test. Even 30 minutes helps you get comfortable with the test layout and know where you stand. The DMV test circle is slightly sloped, so be prepared. Bring your own helmet if you have one - better fit and better hygiene. Highly recommend Tom if you want a smooth, stress-free motorcycle DMV test experience.

    I purchased a brand new 2021 Sea-Doo RXT-X 300 from East Bay Motor, along with an extended…read morewarranty. After only 42 hours of use, the engine failed. From that point, the experience was unacceptable. The jet ski sat at their facility for 10 months, left outside and uncovered, exposed to the elements. There was no urgency, no communication, and no basic care for customer property. Instead of standing behind the product, they pushed me to pay $9,500+ for a replacement engine, despite the extremely low hours. They also supported a claim that the spark plug in the engine was not original at the time of failure ,which is not accurate and this contributed directly to the denial of both warranty and insurance. Because I lost trust, I sourced my own replacement engine (18 hours) and shipped it to them. It then took another 3 months just to install it. When I picked up the jet ski: * The trailer hitch was damaged * The electrical adapter was missing * The cooling system had 0% coolant (which could have destroyed the engine again immediately) * My new lithium battery was missing, replaced with an old 2020 battery * The jet pump assembly was shaking, indicating improper installation I was told missing items would be sent to me. Nothing was sent. After waiting over a month, I had to purchase everything myself. Now I have to take the jet ski to another shop to correct the issues. Bottom line: This was not just poor service -- it was negligence, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling of a major repair. I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this shop with your equipment.

He was very friendly, yet professional. Met him in the parking lot near Lake Merced and the Zoo. When we arrived, he already had the motorcycles unloaded from the trailer and waiting. In our case, my friend and I booked a lesson for just the two of us. Since she is all of 5'2" on a good day, Jonathan selected the low-rider Honda rebel for her. Since I am quite tall, I was given a tall, rough and ready dirt bike (believe it was a suzuki). Both bikes were in good shape. Over the course of the two days, we took two 2-hour classes back to back. Neither of us had any prior experience. By the end of the second class, we had learned to properly mount and start the bikes, shift up and down from 1-3 gear, perform turns to the left and right through a series of traffic cones. The smaller the bike the easier it is to do this test. I am an experience rider, more than 10 years, but relocating from Canada to California, DMV requires me to redo all of my tests. I have my own motorcycle, but I repeat my self, go for a smaller bike, you will have all the time in the world to show off on your own bike. Bay Rider's Group is renting a small Nighthawk 250cc, it is perfect for the test. Yes you will look like a giant on it, but the circle on the circuit will look big on that bike. The bike is not new, but you will ride it only for 1h and 5 minutes :) 1h practice and 5 minutes test.

They also give me an itemized receipt of what was done and a heads up to what the next maintenance bill will cost so I'm not caught off guard. My review is based on my scooter that I bought from Moto Java. I could have bought another bike for around $4,000-$6,000 but this one had sentimental value, so I decided to invest in restoring it. I dropped the bike off and asked them to make it "cherry"--fix it up properly and make it ride like it should. Make it look like new and reaooy aprae no expesnse its sentimental bike. They had the bike for about a year. During that time, I called regularly and was repeatedly told, "It'll be done this week." That went on for months. I stayed patient because I assumed the long wait and roughly $7,000-$8,000 cost meant they were doing a thorough, high-quality job. When I finally picked it up, things immediately felt off: They tried to charge a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Ok, so I used Zelle, I attempted to pay via Zelle, but due to limits and delays, they refused to release my bike unless I paid in full immediately. I ended up paying theCC fee just to get my bike back after a year. Then the real issues started. The gas tank was completely empty when I picked it up. It happens, could but it could hsve been a shitty tming thing BUT After putting $20 of gas in, it them tank, started leaking immediately. Since then: The bike is still hard to start Parts are loose (a handle knob fell off the next morning and I ran it over and smashed it on accident Overall, it feels like very little mechanical work was actually done. At this point, it honestly feels like I paid $7k+ for a paint job and a basic tune-up. The bike is still in poor condition and nowhere near what I expected after a year in the shop. The staff was really (the son) polite, and I don't have anything personal against them--but from a service standpoint, I feel completely ripped off. I wanted to support a local business, but I would not bring my bike back here under any circumstances.
