I told him that I needed a pedocire. Then, I was directed to a sink to wash my hands (I love that because, you know, germs...) and then to a bowl. I was give a complimentary beverage as well. TD was my tech and he did a great job. He let me soak for a bit as I requested (yeah, I needed it) and then handled business. My feet look and feel ike they belong to someone who loves them again. Oh, and the foot massage was just what I needed after getting off the plane. Overall, this is a good nail salon with reasonable prices. This is my 3rd time going to this nail salon and the first 2 times, the service was not that bad…read more However, my pedicure today was horrible. Firstly, the pedicure time was so short. Honestly one of the shortest pedicures I've had. She barely scrubbed or cleaned my feet, no massages, no attention to detail, nothing. Then, as she was cutting my nails and cuticles, she was digging the tools so hard into my skin that I started to bleed. I immediately told her that it stung and to stop because I notice I was starting to bleed. She explained that I had an ingrown toenail, and that she had to remove it but I have never had my toenail be dug out like this before. She then proceeded to try to dunk my foot inside the dirty pedicure water, and say that I have to clean it off. I was very uncomfortable with that because I'm scared it might cause an infection. So I told her I would rather have something put on it to stop the bleeding but instead of putting that cut solution/liquid that some nail places put on you when you bleed, she just doused the cut in alcohol. It was so painful and I honestly don't know why I tipped her and even paid for this service. My toenail has not stopped bleeding since I've left this nail salon. So many salons do not know what to do. I like my toenails very short. And even if the nail tech didn't speak English, I would translate it into their language and they still would not know what short meant. This girl's name was Daisy. She was awesome and the whole place was awesome. I would recommend it to anybody who really wanted a good job done on their nails and toes. They totally care and their prices are very reasonable. That is my new salon to go to. I will not ever go to a different salon.

The technician had me soak my nails and after poolishing them and drying them I still had messed up nail polish. I went home and removed all the polish to discover she had drilled off the top layer of my nails leaving a thin layer that's going to take probably at least 6 months to grow out. The top layer left on the nail looks like a huge cuticle but, actually I have no cuticle now. I'm going to try to up load photos.

I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.
