He was also unable to make black and white copies instead of color, telling me that the machine had no provision for black and white . . . ? I had 35+ years of experience in engineering and reproduction, and it was apparent to me that he was not the man for the job. Everyone has to start somewhere BUT should have basic math skills for reproduction work. He also had a very minimal knowledge of the equipment he was using. He made me wait for 45 minutes while he produced unacceptable copies at the wrong scale. He waited on other customers when he should have been finishing my job. I left without the service that I needed. Please either train him or replace him. I will not return to Office Depot.

Most staff members have come across as impolite, and often there's little to no eye contact or basic acknowledgment of the customer. Customer service really sets the tone for a business, especially when handling quick service tasks like returns. There's definitely significant room for improvement in how customers are greeted and assisted. I genuinely hope management takes this as constructive feedback and works toward creating a friendlier, more attentive environment. I wish them well and hope to see positive changes in the future.

We would heavily use them daily (lots of documents to print) and found that they'd run out more frequently than average. I recall the first time dropping by a big box office supply store and being astonished over the cost of the replacement cartridges. Surely there had to be an alternative. Enter Cartridge World. This shop is small but packs a big punch. They are located in the Safeway shopping center with excellent parking and a great central spot adjacent to downtown Chico. Cartridge World does sell name brand cartridges of all types, but the item that reeled me in was their store brand refills. To my knowledge, they will take your used cartridge, refill it at their shop, and then allow for it to be used again, and again. I was skeptical bringing my Canon cartridges here for exchange as the printers had an ink sensor. Would it be accurate if I wasn't replacing with the real deal? Surprisingly, I had few to no technical issues and my printers accepted these refill cartridges. I can tell you that I've saved dozens of dollars over the years by patronizing this neat little shop. If you are in need of printer ink replacement on a budget, look no further.

The sales reps were a joke, unresponsive and as soon as they were "done" with our contract all their promises to help us finish our contract were useless! Despite multiple calls for weeks on end they never fulfilled any of those promises to help us. We've switched to a local business office company and have been treated way way better! They understand not every job is a 9-5 and truly do their best to be there for their customers. When we moved we took a printer with us, and they were there not only to safely pack it for its move, but assisted in loading and strapping it in to make sure it made it safe. The previous office we moved from they wired the office for the 20amp printers, ran ethernet, and everything so we could just work. They know how important an hours work is to us, and do as much as possible to get us to a working environment, all you have to do is ask. If you are looking to talk to a person, and not a machine, for your printing needs in the greater chico area this is your company.
