The spring rolls were soooo good. They were served fresh and hot. I would order them again. My husband had the Ginger with beef. He really enjoyed it but couldn't eat it all and he always has a big appetite and overeats. My sister had the Pra Ram. She enjoyed completely and was in aw at the appetizing appearance. I had the Pad Kee Mao. It was good although the noodles were very starchy which took away the taste of the chicken. The only reason why I'm only giving 4 Stars was because of the Starchy Noodles. The Hostess seated us promptly and she was also our waitress. She was very attentive to our needs and was very nice. I was craving Thai cuisine the evening I was here in Victoria, Texas and thankful to Yelp, as always for finding what I needed in this small town in the heart of south central Texas. Who knew? Noot's Thai Kitchen is a pretty happening place, especially when you're located in a small sleepy town, such as Victoria. It's probably one of the handful of Asian restaurants in the town as well. Craving Thai food is always a gift and a curse for me, since it's so delicious and mouth watering that I have to seek it out whenever that craving hits me. This experience here at Noot's Thai Kitchen is basically a take out affair. I must have spent about $20 for an entree and an appetizer, but it's worth it when you're supporting local and a being a tourist with a craving for Thai food. With that said, I arrived here on a Friday evening around 7:15pm. I didn't want to dine in at the time, so I ordered take out, so I could enjoy my dinner at the hotel while watching television. Once I got to the restaurant, I found the parking options to be very good and very plentiful - even on a Friday night. I guess small towns, am I right? For the most part though, it was interesting to see a half full restaurant be crazy busy on a Friday night. Maybe they had plenty of take out orders to fill, but it was cool to see Noot's Thai Kitchen busy and humming in small town Victoria. Prices here are comparable to others in major metropolitan areas, even though it can be a little bit more expensive here. You are in Victoria Texas after all. Lol The overall experience here at Noot's Thai Kitchen was quite nice and casual, even though it was just a take out experience. Many of the wait staff were walking around doing various jobs and it took maybe 5 minutes for me to ask them for a menu. I didn't think there was any substantial air conditioning inside the restaurant at the time, since the weather outside was a balmy 47 degrees that night. Crisp! I ultimately ordered some Thai curry to go, which came with regular rice, but I opted for sticky rice instead. I also ordered some fried spring rolls as well. That should be an easy dinner fix for anyone and everyone who loves Thai and be on the go. The staff here was friendly and nice, but some were just going at 40 Mph and not really paying attention to customers who come into the store. I guess that's how it is sometimes. My order arrived after 10 minutes after I paid. They accept major credit cards, so that's always a good thing - as well as cash. Noot's Thai Kitchen is located at 6360 N Navarro Street in the heart of Victoria Texas. As mentioned before, the parking is fine, since the restaurant itself is attached to a shopping center. Best bet is to come here early to find the best spot to enjoy your dinner without problems. For the most part though, it was typical and average In the restaurant setting and I was glad that they got the order right and the curry was legit. Only problem was that I didn't get a fork or a spoon till I realized I was back in my hotel room and was ready to eat! I was disappointed that i didn't check, but a little miffed that they did not provide me one already in the bag for take out orders. I guess that's how it is when the staff is busy in and out of the kitchen tying to contain a busy Friday night at the store. The curry itself was good and spicy. It melted in my mouth with the sticky rice that I had ordered. Both the spring rolls and the stick rice came in a tacky take out container, while the curry was in a plastic bowl. Stereotypical kind of deal, but it works and it's most likely effective for them too. While this meal was good and helps keep the stomach from growling after a long road trip from San Antonio, it was nice to find Noot's Thai Kitchen here in Victoria. The restaurant seemed like it was decorated like a Chinese / Thai motif. More Chinese than Thai, but whatever. Clean and ready for action. If you are ever in this small town of Victoria TX and craving Thai cuisine, consider Noot's to quell your stomach pangs. Do check this place out. I found this place to be good, but average. We got the golden moon appetizer and two curries, the spice level was amazing and the flavor was so good I couldnt stop! The crunchiness of the golden moon was great, not soggy, ( give time to cool down though) and the cucumber sauce paired beautifully. 11/10 would eat again. read more

I am sure that this is the best Thai in Victoria! The people were very friendly and I was seated quickly. The service was great! I was checked on throughout my meal and offered dessert at the end. I decided to go for my regular at Thai restaurants-the red curry (spice level-hot). The spice was surprisingly perfect! I enjoy very spicy dishes, so if you are bold enough to go for the hot, I'd recommend trying one step below first or asking for extra napkins to wipe all the sweat away. The red curry portion size was great for the price! It came loaded with shoots, bell peppers, carrots, and green beans. It was a bit on the thicker side (as I am used to a more runny curry) but the flavor was spot on! I would say definitely top 5 Thai restaurants I've tried. We used to love Noot's but were disappointed in our order tonight. First of all, a curbside order is not curbside if you have to go inside to pick it up. Their automated telephone answering options still list a curbside option, but when you arrive, they then ask you to come inside. Our order was all messed up and, frankly, not very good. I ordered veggie Pad Thai. There were hardly any veggies, and what was there was overcooked. My husband ordered Pla Lad Prik. He wanted noodles instead of rice but was told that wasn't available. The problem is that then they omitted rice. No noodles, but no rice either. We order an order of spring rolls. Received two orders of fried spring rolls. Although their garlic chicken fried rice is actually really good!!! Add fresh chilis if you like it spicy! Their crab fried rice is also good and their pad see eu is delish as well! I knocked a star off because of their beef pho. Also, we have ordered papaya salad and added shrimp to it and they charged us a whopping $18+ for a papaya salad. It was good but pricey! I could have had the same if not better in HTX for half the price, but hey, there's not many Thai places in Victoria, this was actual the only one at the time. If this restaurant was in HTX, Cali, or elsewhere I'd give it a 3 star but being in Victoria it really satisfied my Thai cravings without having to drive 2 hours. read more

Started out with the Fresh Spring Rolls, not bad I have had better and they could add little more tofu... other wise just call it a veggie spring roll. Peanut Sauce was a bit oily, also no as creamy as I would like it, to much on the watery side. I ordered a Boba Thai Tea as I waited for my Chu Chee Salmon... then finished my boba tea as I was still waiting for my Chu Chee Salmon. Never had a frozen Boba Tea before...so when you freeze a boba tea I guess the process of freezing pulls all the flavor out like syrup and puts it as the bottom of the drink. It was sweet like syrup sweet. Lucky me I have a sweet tooth but I can see some complaining. Hint hint lol Little slow or more like a lot slow on the salmon. The server told me it was due to open grilling the salmon... but it was not completely cooked through??? So how or why did it take so long? The service here was very good don't get me wrong but the restaurants profile image of Pad Kee Mao didn't come close to what I got. Maybe I got an off night. Nonetheless it was edible. I ate all of it but fried rice wasn't the best. This is the best option for Thai cuisine in town or for that matter Asian cuisine but you can get better in San Marcos and Austin ("Saps"). Reason I won't return is the foods taste alone but again for Victoria this a good place to get Asian food (the best). To the owner I had both: I had Pad Kee Mao and fried rice. I've been to Bangkok and Chiangmai--as I said in original review maybe cook had off night. I'm born and raised in California and I've eaten a lot of Thai food so it was a noble attempt. I'd still recommend all in town to go to your restaurant as it's the best representation of Asian cuisine in town so do appreciate the offer of choices. If you ever go to Austin, TX: try Sap's in south Austin, Westgate area of 360 loop: that's incredible benchmark to put your restaurant up against. read more
