If you want a bunch of standard Chinese food this will do. It is not outstanding. It is a Chinese buffet. They do offer senior discounts at lunch Monday through Friday which worked for two of our party. Hibachi was fine, although interesting your sauce choices are "spicy or not spicy". read more

We stopped in here for lunch for the first time. The layout and placement of all the food is well done, and they have a lot to offer. They have an area where you can have a Mongolian style plate freshly cooked, fruit and salad tables, typical Chinese fare, and even scoopable ice cream. For the money, this is a 4 to5 star place to eat, however, they lose a star or two for these reasons. The carpeting in the dining room clearly has not been cleaned in years and is filthy. All the furnishings are also dirty, and stained along with dust and grime on the walls. I recommend wiping down the silverware before you use it and the table as well. It's still worth $11 a person for lunch buffet if you don't mind the surrounding grime. read more

They are always soo good & friendly! I order to go & they give huge portions! The beef is so tender & juicy. The fried dumplings are the best I've ever had & so cheap. You could actually get them cheaper and more if you go make your own plate. Best in town to me at reasonable prices with a lot of food. read more

Outside is dirty, needs painted or something but the restaurant inside is clean around the food. Could use more actual restaurant cleaning. Smells good inside no fishy smell. Please think twice, this place is filthy. If they cannot keep the area clean where people sit and walk, I have no hope for the kitchen. They might as well just set you out in the parking lot because it might be a cleaner spot. Was not going to take a chance on the food with all the filth in that place. I'd give 5 stars but they serve their crab legs chilled. How!? I can't even. I didn't expect to pay what I did for some cold crab legs. Better menu items: crab puffs, sesame chicken, string beans, steak meat, egg rolls, white steamed rice, sometimes their sushi, and their chicken and broccoli. They never have enough ice cream or it looks like it's been freezer burnt. Terrible desert items. I'm not impressed with their fruit items either. Ok, I know 5 stars is a bunch especially for a Chinese buffet in South Texas however, this place has many things going for it. The selection of food is vast. The sushi (which I never eat at a buffet) is fresh and good. They have Mongolian BBQ (did not try). There are things here you would never find on a Chinese buffet (only in TX). This review was for food delivered.. not the house buffet. My order did take a little while but that was because of ordering during noon when everyone ( including tge delivery service) was busy. But the food was great. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was a large amount. It was just the chicken...no pineapple or peppers. But the BBQ Ribs, off the appetizer menu, were realky good. The best buffet in Victoria! For $11.99 you get alot of varieties of food & it is very family-friendly. The restaurant has a good ambience, fancy built-in wishing well inside & a great service. The servers are very attentive & very fast on their environment. The best food I've ever eaten here is their Butter Scoth and Cookies & Cream ice cream. The second I would recommend is their ribs, pork chop, and the barbecue chicken is delicious but the cob corn is a little burnt and bland. The fried chicken was okay, not too tasty and not too salty either. The fried catfish taste bad, I wouldn't recommend eating that. Their Sushi was spot on tho. The fruits were a little sour to me and I think some of them aren't fresh anymore. The fried rice & fried shrimp taste like any other Asian restaurants, nothing big of a deal. This might be the worst food I've ever eaten and I pray I don't get food poisoning. I'm writing this as I sit at the table with a plate full of food I refuse to eat. It's bland and I felt sick almost immediately and I only took about four bites. Great business, terrible food. I've been here about 15 minutes and me and my boyfriend are already walking out. I love this place. It has literally everything. I'll be honest: I did not touch the sushi because I'm skeptical of buffet sushi, but everything else is so good! This place one time really saved me too! We had pre-ordered a to-go order from another restaurant which lost our order and China B was able to sell us some dishes right away to take to the meeting I was, at that point, running late to. This isn't the best buffet I've had but I lalalalalaloved their stackable Mongolian hibachi stir fry. It is the best I've had in tx, it's all personal preference of course but I like their sauce and the thickness of the noodles. The four stars are for those noodles and for the staff. They are always so kind to us. I loved that they didn't charge per sushi item when to going it like other places do. Whenever there isnt certain sushi roll or sushi piece out, the sushi chef would always whip up new pieces or rolls for me, he would even cut fresh salmon sashimi pieces for me which is was kind of him. If it wasn't for these reason the buffet food was just ok typical buffet food which would usually get 2 stars in my book. At the time we loved in Victoria there wasn't much restaurants to choose from so we would come here alot hehe. We should try to improvise the food and make our own dishes we were craving like seaweed crabmeat salad with spicy mayo dressing. We got real creative LOLOL. The sushi sashimi grade was about the same as the only sushi restaurant they had here in texas so we figured we get the most bang out of the buck here. read more

I have eaten here twice. both times I got blow out diarrhea from their food. I go to other buffets and never have been affected like this. I took a date this past time and she called me and said she was stuck on the toilet also. she ate different foods from what I ate. so it's something in the food, the cleaning agents or in the spice that gives diarrhea. they might want to start checking with their customers till they figure out what the issues are. read more

The place is nice, new, clean, that's always a plus. The food is okay, not a horrible buffet, but not the best, the selection is really big, but a lot of it doesn't even look appetizing. The biggest problem is the staff. They're all but rude. No smiles, not thank yous nothing. I asked my waiter for a lemon for my drink and he said "no lemon is bad for you I get you lime". I said, "no thanks I'd like a lemon", the man stood there and argued with me about lemons being bad for you.....WHAT!? Weird. Sometimes their food sits on the bar to long and gets dried out. Not pleasing. But for the most part it's all okay. The last two times we've ate there I have gotten sick. The first time I figured it was just me, maybe I was coming down with a stomach bug, but a couple weeks later it happened again. The price is a little high for a mediocre buffet in my opinion and I think it's a little ridiculous the amount they charge for a three year old to eat. Most buffets don't charge for three years old. You know everyone tries to rate Chinese buffets on the same scale as other establishments. This needs to stop. No buffet will be like a Fogo or whatever. This one, however, is as close as you can get. Unbelievably awesome and highly underrated. The food is amazing. All of it. Not one item was bad and we had about 80 of them. The peeps in the kitchen knew what they were doing for sure. And the staff is fantastic. Our dude was so sweet and attentive at all times. We tipped him as much as the bill was which was overly reasonable. The sushi, ribs, Crawdads, crab legs, seaweed salad, tso chicken, crab cakes, clams...it was all great. I eat at mostly upscale joints and when I don't want the pomp and circumstance I roll to a buffet, grab what I want and bone out. This place was special. A diamond in the rough. Well worth me plopping my overstuffed self down in the hotel bed and writing a review before passing out literally full and giggling. Yes. Giggling. So, people, let's start getting a different sliding scale on the Chinese buffet way of life. We know what was worth 12 bucks or so and we know what isn't. You have a choice to either eat it or not. If it's good go to town and judge it on that basis. If it is bad just leave it on the plate and spin the wheel another time. If you can't find a dozen or more items at this place that make you believe in dragons and fairies again you should go to culinary school and figure it out for yourself! The quality has really gone down. The sushi tasted like weekend leftovers (came to eat on a Monday afternoon). The crawfish was yellow and tasted like they were boiled in soap water. The oysters yelled next zombie apocalypse due to food poisoning. This place used to be amazing and delicious but now its not cared for.
