The toilet was encased by a wall!!! My mom's wheelchair and this wall wouldn't allow her to reach. The toilets are extremely low, so if you use a transfer, it is very hard. We mostly used the restroom down stairs in the lobby because it was big. Mom could barely get into the high bed. I was exhausted after the trip.

The hotel is very run down, the wallpaper is held up with staples in the rooms, the carpet is filthy, torn, and bleach stained. The hotel needs a major overhaul, cleaning, and hiring of decent, capable housekeeping staff.

The shower took about 10 minutes to warm to a temperature suitable to get in and was still too cold really to be comfortable for an additional 5 or so. Breakfast was good, heat worked great in the room, and the workers were friendly. Have no complaints on any of that. But if cleanliness is of the upmost importance to you look elsewhere. One side note and this is nothing against the hotel or those mentioned but just something I want to mention as it might be important to someone else I believe we were the only family staying there. My overall review is please invest in staff training. Please be sure that guests are attended to, especially your weary travelers. They were very apologetic and immediately resolved the issue by giving us a new room. The new room felt like an upgrade and was quite large and very clean. We canceled and will never be going back to that one. Now I understand why they are only 2 stars.
