My son and I here yesterday. Larry provided excellent service. We both ordered the Smokehouse…read moreburger which is: Sautéed mushrooms, onions, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion with American and jack cheeses served on a Texas-sized bun with steak fries and a pickle spear. The bun consistency was that of an old bun. Very dry and tasteless. Completely out of character for this location in my experience. I ate the patty with a knife and fork. Enjoyed it that was so much the I probably order without the bun going forward. I'm not sure there was BBQ sauce on mine though it still tasted good. The meat needs less salt. (And I say this even while I love salt.) The seasoning they put on the fries is good and it had me thinking if they sold it. I like my fries much more crispy though. The Killer Ribs appy was well named because those ribs were fantastic! Definitely ordering them again. Might just be our go to appy from here.

Stopped in for 15 classic wings--went with garlic parmesan, hot honey dry rub, and Korean BBQ…read more Wings came out fresh, cooked just right, and the flavor was solid and consistent across the board (which isn't always a given at chain spots). Hot honey was the standout--sweet heat with a nice punch. Garlic parm did the job, though I've had it crispier. Korean BBQ brought a smoky kick, not too spicy. It's Wingstop done right. Nothing mind-blowing, but reliable and tasty. Solid 3.5 outta 5.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Victoria, TX…read more I've been to Buffalo Wild Wings a couple of times now, and it's become my preferred spot over Wingstop or Just Wings. The portions are generous, the food comes out fresh and hot, and I appreciate that the to-go packaging is environmentally friendly. Both visits, I ordered Garlic Parm (wet), Lemon Pepper (dry), Gold seasoning, and Salt & Pepper Vinegar wings. They were flavorful, cooked well, and reasonably priced for the amount you get. Only thing keeping it from a higher score is that while everything was good, it wasn't quite "wow" level for me. Still, it's solid, dependable, and worth the stop if you're craving wings in Victoria. Rating: 4 / 5

The service was terrible. We waited over an hour for our food while watching at least five tables…read morereceive appetizers before us and three tables get their meals before we did. What should have been a great day ended with a disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. When we brought our concerns to management, we were told there was essentially nothing they could do. That's unacceptable. After waiting that long, our food arrived cold. The wings were supposed to be wet, but they came out dry and overcooked. The only fresh item seemed to be the onion rings. The biggest issue wasn't just the food--it was the lack of accountability. A simple "sorry your visit was bad, hope to see you again" doesn't address the problem. The kitchen appeared disorganized, and the service staff seemed overwhelmed and unprepared. To the owners and management of Buffalo Wild Wings: pay attention to your reviews. Customers shouldn't have to wait over an hour for cold food and then be told nothing can be done about it. This location needs better management, better communication, and much higher standards.

A Solid Slice of the Margherita Life | 4/5 Stars…read more Tried the Margherita Pizza at Double Dave's in Victoria and walked away satisfied -- fresh, melty, and totally respectable. It's your dependable pizza friend: well-made, good flavor, and no drama. That said, I'm a sucker for a more rustic Margherita -- charred crust, garden basil, that brick oven soul. This version felt a little more "clean-cut" than "countryside artisan," but still totally hit the spot. Bonus: great crust game. Double Dave's keeps it classic, and sometimes, that's all you need.
