The other item ordered was hunan chicken. You can taste the spice in the dish and large pieces of chicken. Vegetables in both dishes were not over cooked. Would eat here again. Probably the better Asian restaurant in town. Service was quick and friendly. The portions may not be "Texas size" but was enough. They add 3% on credit card payments and don't take American Express. There is a sign out by the road but not one on the building.

They had been operating as takeout-only for quite a while, and when I attempted to visit a few months ago, the restaurant was still under renovation. The first challenge was parking. When I arrived, the lot was completely full. Fortunately, a truck was leaving as I pulled in, so I was able to grab a spot. From the outside, it's difficult to gauge how busy the restaurant is because the front windows are heavily mirrored. Once I stepped inside, it became clear why the parking lot was packed--nearly every table was occupied. As a solo diner, I was directed to a seat at the bar rather than being offered a table. The bar seating worked, but it was fairly narrow and seemed to double as a service station. Throughout my meal, staff were using the counter to stage drink pitchers and prepare sauces, while another employee in the back appeared to be using a dining table for prep work as well. Service was prompt initially. I received water quickly, and my spring rolls arrived shortly afterward. The spring rolls were good, and the peanut sauce was decent, though not particularly memorable. After about a 30-minute wait, my pho tai arrived. My first impression was that the portion of beef seemed a little light, especially since it was already mixed into the broth rather than served on the top as is typical. The broth itself, however, was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The accompanying bean sprouts, herbs, and other garnishes felt somewhat sparse compared to other pho restaurants I've visited. Overall, I can see why the restaurant is drawing a crowd. The broth alone is worth coming back for. That said, the dining room still feels like it's adjusting to the demands of a busy dine-in operation. I'd like to return once the new-business rush settles down and see if service becomes more polished and some of the food-preparation activity is moved fully behind the scenes.
