I didn't want to judge the restaurant by its building aesthetic, sometimes you find a banger in a hole in the wall. Unfortunately this was not it, I drove over an hour based on the reviews thinking it would be worth it. The lady at the counter was not very friendly, however, I received my order of c7 cashew chicken with rice, 3 egg rolls and two orders of their house sauce in a timely matter. The taste of the rice can be compared to cardboard, the chicken seemed to be cooked and then thrown into a sauce mix with some raw chopped veggies And nuts. The egg rolls are the only reason this place isn't getting a one star. They were ok covered with their house sauce. If you're out here in the country, drive a different direction for your "China Wok" food cravings. read more

If you are passing through the area and need a good spot to stop for Chinese food, this place is perfect. My family and I stopped in for linch on our way back to Houston and were pleasantly surprised. We got the pork lo mien which was my favorite. Pork meat was tender with great flavor and the portion size was enough for all 4 of us to share. We also go the broccoli and beef combo with the rice and the Szechuan chicken combo. The combos came with drinks as well. Both were made fresh to order, very good flavor and served nice and hit. We got a few Egg rolls and they were really delicious as well. The restaurant itself was very clean, especially the bathrooms. Clean bathrooms is always a sign of a clean restaurant. Great attention to detail. It also looked family owned which made our hearts happy to stop and help out a small business in a small town. 5/5 for sure, prices are extremely affordable for the portions and combos you get. Not too far off the highway, maybe 5 minutes but worth it! We will definitely plan to stop there when traveling through again. read more

This place never disappoints unless they happen to be closed when I stop. I love that everything is made fresh when you order it. The lunch deals are great and the supper deals are a good value as well. They are alway very quick to get your order taken, cooked, and to you in record time. This trip I picked up the general tso's chicken, hot and sour soup and my favorite crab rangoons. The only thing I'm not crazy about here is the iced tea. It tastes like it is a powder mix. The dining area is small but sufficient. The bathroom is always clean and the AC is always struggling but I love this place and will continue to come and eat here. read more

Order some take out, general tso and sweet & sour chicken. They had a special for $7.50, meal which included egg roll and drink. Service was very friendly. Food was very good and large portions but I was disappointed in general tso chicken because there was mostly breading and almost no chicken! Rice was great! Won't have that again but I'll try other dishes and hope it will have chicken. I'd rather pay a little more or get smaller portions made up of real chicken in every piece. Our order had more than half of the pieces with little to no chicken. Unacceptable. Tea had a distinct taste but was still ok. Fantastic and made fresh when you order. Huge portions. One combo meal is enough to feed my 3 kids! The single order of noodles is enough for our family of 5 to share as a side. I had been wanting to try this place out cause I read some really good reviews, and I understand everyone has their own different opinions and tastes. But we were really disappointed when we finally stopped to try them out. The fried rice had no flavor and was very dry. The chicken and steak were sliced processed meat, instead of real beef and chicken. I will give them credit for their crab rangoons though...they are spot on and delicious. Love this place. We always stop here on our way north, and again on our way south. It's our go to place. Seems to be the only place in Texas that has egg drop soup without peas and carrots in it. This is the third time I called in an order was told 10 minutes. I go in 20 minutes later and they look at me like I am crazy. This last time (Today 2-3-17), I walked in waited another 5 minutes for someone to browse the COMPLETE menu. I informed the gentlemen I ordered a General Tso's lunch to go.
