This doc and staff are amazing. I've been going there since 2017 and I have never had an issue. They do not over Medicate you and they also try other solutions so that you are not so dependent on pain meds. I broke my back when I was 14 and have had 3 major spinal fusions. His staff was amazing and I have never had one issue. Now, their old office manager Amy was a complete asshole to me at first but before she was fired she was a lot nicer. Mandy is a Gem! And now Jade is also a part of their staff and also very very very helpful. Please do not pay attention to the negative reviews others have left. I hated my appointments at this office. I liked the staff, who were friendly and helpful, even when busy. The P.A. was so absorbed in her job to sell an orthotic that she rarely paid attention to anything I volunteered and almost never asked a question with any substance to it. This part of my appointment was only for one thing: to refill prescriptions, which leads me to possibly the worst doctor I've ever known, Dr. Gajraj. I should interject here that I've been in the medical field since I was 17 and have set up and managed doctors' offices for roughly 30 years in addition to being a hospital director; so my comments are based on an objective point of view as well as subjective, having suffered from undiagnosed illnesses and undergoing six surgeries since 2015. I'm used to arrogant, demanding, brilliant doctors and surgeons. But a doctor that that has no basis for his arrogance and who is condescending, cocky, and "clever" for his own amusement and at the expense of his staff and patients is not just a jerk but a danger. His failure to listen to or care about his patients (how many times have you actually spoken directly to him?) is seen by his freely over-prescribed regulated medicines, and yes, I'm including opioids. The result of this attitude was an office that made you feel like you were just another addict meeting his dealer. I've since found a wonderful, brilliant doctor that is refreshingly kind, concerned, caring, and careful. The stark contrast is frightening to me as both a patient and a medical administrator. I seldom post a review, and especially not one as negative as this. However, I really worry about this doctor's patients and those who may be considering an appointment with him based on a particular positive review (even a broken clock is right twice a day). I have nothing to gain from writing this - I stopped seeing him years ago - but please take my words into consideration if you are a patient desperate for pain relief, like most of us are or were. He's not the answer. I was referred to this doctor by the Baylor system and informed my PCP that he should never refer a patient there again. read more

I have recently discovered that Dr Gajraj made an addition to my records which was untrue. He wrote that I had repeatedly list my meds and had them stolen. He also said that he sent me a prescription for my regular meds when I was evicted from his practice. Though I have had medication stolen twice in 20 years. Actually, that's twice in my entire life. I have been on opiates fir 20 years. His lies are likely to be in response to the complaint I made to the medical board about him. I objected to being suddenly kicked out of his practice. A physician is supposed to supply referrals, time to find a new doctor, etc. I was told over the phone by a secretary and given no referral, no treatment and no medication. I was already in very tough shape because I had been robbed repeatedly over a 2-month period by a landlord who felt that I had too many lights on and too much air conditioning. She stoke repeatedly, taking roughly $14,000 worth of my things. I called the police every time but they would do nothing to stop her, telling me that it is not a crime in Dallas for a landlord to steal from a tenant. She stole $5,000 worth of medication that I didn't 6 years being tested fir and which cannot be replaced. She stoke hundreds of dollars worth of vitamin supplements which I have to thaw because of many severe deficiencies. This was in addition to the fentanyl patches. She also stoke an Apple phone, a $400 comforter, a portable A/C unit, 3 lamps, and many other things. She turned off the electricity. I had no light, no A/C, no way to charge my phone. She put toxic chemicals in my room, as she knew I have chemical sensitivity. I lay there in bed fir weeks, just suffering in the dark. So ill, so helpless. I have (had) a mouth full of implants. I couldn't use my waterpik or electric toothbrush to clean them. They got infected and fell out. I now need $25,000 worth of dental surgery over a years time. I cannot afford it. I had recently had surgery to correct a long-standing problem as I finally figured out the cause of it. I was better and had to go back to work as my disability payments stopped when o turned 65. Nobody will hire ne without teeth. But it didn't matter because after Dr Gajraj took me off my meds that I had been on gur 20 years I got so horrendously ill it is a miracle I survived. I had to take fentanyl patches that were left over from many years ago that had been hidden in the glove compartment of my car fur months to years. They were toxic or didn't work. It is hard to tell what horrible symptoms were due to withdrawal and which were due to toxic compounds, made from the heat. I was a hairsbreadth from committing suicide. No doctor would see me because I gave them the records with Dr Gajraj's lies on them. He also lied to the medical board, telling them that he had tapered my meds. I've been told that he put me on some sort of risky patient list as well. All in retaliation for my complaint. But the main issue is blaming me fir being robbed. I did everything I could to avoid it. The police refused to protect me. I put my own lock on my door and she had her son bust through the door. The federal government has agreed to take my case against the wacko landlord. It is illegal to discriminate against someone for having an illness which requires a cool temperature. In this state, the poluce and the medical board do not protect us. read more

I have several complicated autoimmune conditions and been crippled by prednisone therapy. Very quickly... -Very confident and more knowledgeable than other doctors have been -More options to long term solutions for pain management instead of just a quick opiate refill -Quick progression to a better quality of life than I thought was possible -Was completely paralyzed due to severe muscle atrophy. Physical therapy was almost impossible just a few months ago -Office staff is not overly friendly but if you just ask for what you need they are quick and happy to help. I keep in mind they probably have difficult patients and need to maintain a professional distance. -In and out of the office quickly but I never feel like I've wasted an appointment and I do not feel rushed -The PA is excellent and I feel as confident in her skills, knowledge, and ability as I do the doctor's. She is very qualified and is professional and friendly. -If I had feedback for any other patients or the office it would be that it could be a lot more friendly for people with mobility issues. If you have difficulty getting around (and especially wheelchair bound patients) then you should plan ahead. It is difficult to navigate the parking lot of the office, it is almost at the end of the hallway, and the office is packed with chairs and is small. The office staff will gladly help you but you have to know to ask. -Sometimes it is difficult to get a return call and you may have to call a couple of times. Not an issue for some things but I did not get a refill on a necessary prescription and it took almost a week before it was sorted out. I did have to place several calls over several days. I was a new patient to the office but this was not a new prescription and I had taken it for several years. You cannot get treatment at the ER for long acting opiates anymore so I had no other options but to wait it out. It is an hour drive for me and I hurt too badly or I would have just walked in. I would have quickly changed doctors but I don't think this would have happened if I had been an established patient with an established history. I was willing to work with it because he was highly recommended by my previous pain management doctor as being the best to treat my complicated condition. I am glad I waited and became a little more established. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars. -Go in with realistic expectations. Pain Management is limited and you can expect honesty from both the PA and the doctor. I prefer it that way but some people may find it a bit harsh. Restrictions on opiates make it a difficult specialty but the best doctors do not sugar coat the facts. -I would recommend for people with long term pain issues who are ready to make realistic changes for the best life possible. You have to be proactive as a patient and if you are willing to do that then this is a great practice to be with. If you aren't willing to do the work to get better then that is on you and not the doctor or the practice. read more

Dr Noor Gajraj is great. The NP and PA are amazing. I've been a patient for a little over a year. I think a lot of the negative reviews come from people wanting certain meds and not getting them. The type that don't actually need them. I do see the PA & NP more than Dr Gajraj, which I am totally okay with. The PA talks to me and listens to how I am actually feeling. The NP does as well sometimes she is a little rushed but she will always answer any question you have, she asks you detailed questions to better understand your situation. She is thorough just like Dr Gajraj is. The doctors work with you to find the actual diagnosis and the right treatment that works for you. They do what is in the best interest of your health. The staff is super friendly and amazingly supportive. I have never had a bad experience with anyone being rude. After my first appointment with Dr Gajraj, I had an issue with a local pharmacy and called the office, Brandy answered and immediately helped me get through it. I would not be able to work if it wasn't for this office. I travel quite a bit for my job and I got to the point that I couldn't travel, the walking through the airports and sitting on the planes were too much, the pain was crippling me. This office gave me my life back. They work with you to find the right treatment that is truly best for your pain and give you your life back. I would recommend this office definitely. read more

Went her based on another RN coworker recommendation, otherwise I would never drive an hour to be miss scheduled, lied to by office staff... and just shrug shoulders when mistake on their part. If I could give zero stars I would for office staff, but specifically for Amy-Office Manager. You can't reach office- only leave messages, they do not return calls, first time went fine for hip injection and have have been given the run around, twice scheduled and they mysteriously book to give you pain medicine you did not request... will NOT BE BACK! This place has really gone down hill. They used to be irritable, now they are just plain nasty. They charge $5.00 to confirm an appointment when you make them three months in advance. Phone die, you want to be sure and they charge you five dollars. Call up the phone number and see how nasty they are on the recording. They also moved to a location that is so remote, the GPS doesn't even recognize the location. The doctor snears at you and won't even say hi when you see him in the office. He delegates all his duties to his PA and signs blank Rx's in advance. They even try to sneak and over bill you. I had met my deductible and they still charged me the same as the prior time. Sarah is the only reason I come here. But they don't have you on a plan to do any better. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place. The location is in the middle of no where and the GPS doesn't even recognize it. Then they made me wait forever, just to get my prescriptions. The lady in the waiting room was complaining she couldn't find the place either. I think it's time to find another doctor. Someone who doesn't treat you like a no good tramp! If I could give no stars I would. The front desk admin is aloof and has zero personality. Could care less your there or in being welcoming. The nurse if thats what she truly is, is passive/aggressive and provoking to say the least. Awful! This is a true cattle call. Huge difference in a pain mgmt. clinic and a "real" Doctor's office. They are not inviting, pleasant, or anything of the like. They are there to process and prescribe narcotics. plain and simple. Come in, take your money, write a script to the mainly zombies in the waiting room, and spin you around, make you feel guilty and boot you out the door. The thing is, they dont have to care AT ALL...they know those that need pain killers will be back regardless of the atmosphere. The last straw...I told them I didnt feel comfortable coming in with an Autoimmune disease and taking immunosuppressives during the Corona outbreak...I asked for a web call or call to say "everything is still the same". "No, we cant do that...sorry" No care of regard to the climate of COVID19. They then replied...sorry, "life isnt fair". Ha, are you kidding me. If you want to be belittled, verbally abused by staff and waste your time, then this place is the place for you. How this Doctor can call himself a pain management doctor while doing little else but be a pain in the ass is beyond me. From his staff (who come and go like the wind) to the doctor himself (who is the most abrupt arrogant jerk I've met) it's one headache after another. You almost need a pain management specialist just to walk through his door..Do yourself a favor and look further. If I could give negative stars this place would get them. read more

I cannot believe these people are able to treat people who already have to deal with a miserable quality of life. I have chronic pain and in pain management the rest of my life. I was so impressed the first time I came. Sarah was so very attentive and seemed sincere to help. I asked to try an alternative to my narcotic as I'd heard there were new, less dangerous options. Week in and at my follow up i said I wasn't feeling well. Told me to continue as it takes time. I did and became so angry and depressed, uncontrollable rage and depression. Something I don't have. It was very, very scary. I was having adverse reactions ( you know, the ones they say can happen on the sheets). Called for help, no return call. Called next day until someone picked up. By this time I'd completely lost my mind ( not my fault - fell into the small % who have hopeless thoughts and all the other horrible side effects). Told them as I'm bawling in the car. They tell me to come in. Police are there to take me away to the looney bin ( I respect that. It should have been taken seriously). When the dust settled I sat with Sarah and plead just to get off the medicine and go back to my medicine I'd been on for 6 years that worked, and I'd never ask to change to a Different one again, as it nearly ruined my life. I was told they'd never give me my original medicine I'd always taken, ever again, as "once a patient refuses their meds, they can't legally prescribe again". I thought my life was over. I asked why the wouldn't have told me this when I asked to TRY an alternative- not refuse my medicine- and they said they didn't feel they needed to. I was distraught. I was being punished for something I had zero control over ! I was a mess- again- 3 weeks of adverse reactions here- and they got mad at me, gave me Tylenol for someone who is legally disabled, to come off of narcotics of 6 years, the medicine I was on that you don't just go "off of" and tolerate debilitating pain -with Tylenol. I called 5 times for the follow up they requested, to see how my body and mind were and they refused to call me back to schedule. ( they did ask me to schedule on my way out. I was crying so bad at the thought the pain I was about to face would make my life unbearable, and there were 5 people in line, so I left and called. No answer, no return to the 5 following calls) That's reckless, irresponsible and probably not legal considering it was a reaction to medicine, not a choice, not at attitude problem- someone crying and begging for help after previous pleas. What logical explanation is there for this ? I'm a risk? I've always been a perfect patient for all my doctors. I respect what they do for us. Take my medicines as prescribed even when it made me borderline psychotic and I'm left scrambling to find a new doctor because of the reaction. If I cannot find a doctor I will seek counsel as a) the whole, we can't prescribe again was a flat out lie b) I had no way to know how to get that garbage out of my system safely and had to take 2 weeks from work. C) had to have full time family monitoring due to fear, anxiety and depression d) stopping treatment without due cause. When you take a patient on, you're responsible for their wellbeing unless you notify them otherwise. You also should make sure they have someone else to see. Unless it's an abuse suspicion or a rule violated in the contract, you shouldn't be able to ignore a client for a medical condition. That's the whole reason you're there. read more

Not just medication. They counsel each patient regarding their health and lifestyle choices in order to improve their overall wellness. Not sure what has happened to his practice over the past 9 months but it has taken a serious decline not only in the level of service being provided but the absolute rudeness and uncaring staff he has running his office .. They have no concern about their patients wellbeing let alone their health. Patients are being ran thru every 5 minutes like cattle to see a PA that could care less about your condition . The only decent person that can answer any questions and get things resolved is Yolanda . Ashely that runs the front desk should be working at Walmart and is the most rudest person one will ever meet. It's baffling she would even be working a front desk dealing with people since she seems to hate them so much . Last but certainly not least I had a spinal epidural 10 months ago that landed me in the hospital for 3 days after being transported by ambulance from the side of the road .. I'm happy with the treatment I get from the Dr Gajraj himself or the PA, even though sometimes he can be rude. The treatment I got has helped me a ton. The office staff is a totally different experience. The main girl upfront is good. So I started new insurance this year and i'm in the process of trying to meet my deductible. I go see Dr. Gajraj and pay in cash. I gave them my new insurance and they are suppose to be submitting it to my insurance. Its a week later now and I just wanted to make sure they did sent it, cause the girl wasn't in on the day of my visit. I've called for 4 straight days and have not got a call back. No one has even picked up the phone. So I email them. I get a response and the girl barely types English correctly and didn't understand what I asked her. It goes back and forth, then she tells me to just call my insurance. So I respond and say that their customer service has dropped this year.(2016). She emails me back and tells me not to insult her and to never use the email again. Are you kidding me! So I email back saying, I'm a customer. I pay you for services. I'm not allowed to express my opinion because i'm unhappy with my service! Unbelievable! I will have to go back to see him, but I just can't believe how bad its gotten at that office. Maybe he shouldn't keep accepting new patients and making it like an assembly line. read more
