I'm…read moreusing free wi-fi, have access to free snacks, coffee and water and have already had several updates on her condition during the 2.5 hour surgery thanks to the pager they provide you when you are in the building (they call your cell phone if you leave). I've spent a lot of time in hospitals having my own parts fixed and waiting around for others to have procedures done - typically it's a crapshoot on when you'll get officially checked in, who will administer your anesthesia or when you'll be able to find out anything about the patient. Not today - the anesthesiologist called the gf last night to confirm her allergies. We were told to be ready to be checked in at 7:30 this morning (they had her dressed and her IV set by 7:35). Her surgery was supposed to last 2.5 hours and I just got word (at exactly 11:30) she's been wheeled to recovery. They had her permits for a handicap placard ready for me to take to the DMV as soon as they took her in to surgery as well - to say this has been a monster success so far would be one hell of an understatement. Of course I'll hold off on five stars until I've been a patient up here, but for now I couldn't be happier with the treatment she and I both have experienced. Bravo, Baylor - as a Bear, I'm pretty pleased right now.

I also have severe shearing in my lumbar and BPPvertigo. I have refused all surgery due to the extensive hardware and possible complications, especially with the thorasic. Since I have been with Dr. Syed, about 3 years now, I have had multiple injections for trigger points and blocks ALL with a high success rate. My gait, which had been off for 29 years due to pain, is becoming normal. I can place my foot with toes forward to walk. I have not had a bad thoracic lock up in quite some time due to medications provided and changing my mechanics on how I move my upper body,along with stretches, all suggestions by Dr. Syed and his PA's. They are great about answering all of my crazy questions, great bedside manner, they do listen and they do care. The PA's Veronica, Devon and Anthony are all so knowledgeable, patient and kind. It has to be difficult with every person who comes in is complaining due to pain. They are angels. I am located in Frisco and the procedures are done there at the location so you are familiar with your surroundings and comfortable. I have a needle phobia and Marcus the anesthesiologist is phenomenal in helping me stay calm. I trust this team to take care of me in my stressful state. I am a long term care patient and see myself staying here for the life of my chronic pain care. Less than 2 months ago, my wife suddenly died and they seemed like they cared BUT after I had to reschedule my appt last week until this week, without ANY WARNING or even simply telling me over the phone, I show up this morning for my normal follow up for my refills and I was told that if I cannot pay the FULL CASH PRICE, they will NOT SEE ME AS A PATIENT ANY LONGER. Their statement that THEY CARE more about the patient than the money is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. You're appointment will be a month after the last appointment then they won't submit your medications timely because "they forgot" and "are busy performing procedures"; which I'm sure is true but is a statement towards patients in and of itself. The people at the front desk will tell you things that aren't true such as ask if you can be available for procedures on a Wednesday then when you call to confirm they'll say that procedures aren't performed on Wednesday but the DR is too busy to send in your script cause they are performing procedures.... on a Wednesday. If they say they are going to call you back, Don't count on it. This is not to impinge their skills as medical professionals at all. They are good DR's just absolutely horrible at communication or pretending like you as a patient matter unless you are right in front of them. When you are already suffering from chronic pain due to injuries, the professionals you are forced to see for help, shouldn't stress you out further and almost every experience I have turns into a headache.

On my very first visit Dr. Morchower he took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and what I needed. He also discussed what he would like to try and his plan was to lower the amount or strength of the pain medication that I was taking. I would love nothing more than to find enough relief from procedures that I would be able to be completely free from medications. Dr. Morchower listens to you and I feel valued and cared for. I feel like he is a partner in my care and that we share the same goals with respect to managing my pain. Unfortunately, I had another accident in December 2024. Since then all of my pain has increased and now I have frequent migraines. He has tried everything to get me relief. Although, these procedures haven't provided long term pain relief, it is always best to approach pain conservatively first. Dr. Morchower truly understands his field and he is a highly skilled specialist in pain management. I would recommend him to my family and that is the highest compliment I can give to a Physician. From reception to nursing staff, he has chosen compassionate individuals to assist him with his practice. I love that I can text concerns and requests, and that my needs are met in a timely manner. I found two doctors that are way more cost-efficient for somebody with health without health insurance and I've repeatedly asked for my records and they act like they can't print out a statement of what I paid. I have asked about more than 30 days ago and legally they're supposed to give me my records, but they won't give them to me so I don't know what's wrong with this place. They probably didn't even know what they're doing. This place is horrible. They're unfriendly they're unorganized and they don't care. All they care about is money. I would not suggest this place to anyone. They fit me through more pain in agony than when I went in there, they embarrass me they humiliated me i and they're just all around terrible and I don't really ever go to the extent to write a review about somebody else unless they're this awful and these people are awful. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. Then I started having MRI's of my pain issues, my neck, back, shoulders and both knees and he started to understand WHY I was on so many meds. But I also understand Pain Management Drs are being scrutinized and limited as to what and how much they can prescribe for pain. Turns out the new law is such that you can only take that dose of Morphine, IF you're a cancer patient, that's it, no one else can be prescribed that dosage amount of Morphine. Initially, it was pretty difficult. But, then he did an oblation on my lower back and that was the first part of my healing process. Unfortunately, it doesn't last forever, so I have to return every year to have the nerves in my lower back burned... The next area of pain was my knees, so I was referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon and he replaced both my knees within 7 weeks of each other. That was TOUGH. So knees are on the mend. Now I just have a torn rotator cuff to deal with and Tendonitis in the other shoulder and my neck issues... We're getting there and I think Dr Neleson understands why I need to see him every month. I don't know how I would be able to live a decent life without his help. He has been a lifesaver. It may take a few months, but once you get to know Dr Neleson, you wouldn't want anyone else on your side, helping you, but him...

After some back and forth and being told different things by different staff members, the office manager called me and said they were firing me from the practice because "the doctor and I are not on the same page".
