I had been prescribed amoxicillin by my doctor and it tore my stomach up so badly I had to take antacids. So I didn't complete the dosage. I told this PA that and she prescribed a doxycycline which is in the same family. My concern was there something else I could take, because I didn't want the same outcome. She kind of blew me off and just rushed out of the room. I was complaining about my left ear aching, and she didn't even take a look. So I waited for an hour to only have the PA to spent 10 minutes with me. Also, I'm probably 50lbs overweight and the PA kept asking if I knew I was overweight, yes most people know their weight, please!
