Just ordered on their app while shopping at a place next door and it immediately said it was ready. I checked out and drove over to their pickup window. I usually tip in cash when I do a pickup bc my daughter worked in food service and has told me this is preferred when it comes to pickup orders. When I pulled up to the window, a guy came out and I explained the app told me my order was already done and it seemed pretty fast, so I was just checking to see. I started to get my cash out and ready for him while he went to 'check' on it. 20 minutes later, he came back with the bag (I'm still planning on tipping because this would have been the typical wait time anyway) until he opens the window, hands me the bag, and says "Sorry about that wait, it was just sitting there." It was clear they had assumed I hadn't tipped them, and he had been letting me sit and wait. Well played, dude. I grew up with Noodles & Co. in Wisconsin. I have ordered delivery from this location quite a bit but today was first time going in. The restaurant area was super clean! Awesome location! I was able to walk over after dropping my car off at Jiffy Lube. They claim the Rice Krispies are homemade. They do taste like it! Delish and huge!!! I had the new crispy chicken Alfredo... wow the chicken was sooooooooo good!!!! So surprised!!! The soda machine is a Coke freestyle so you can add flavors to it! Awesome!!! Clean restaurant, friendly service, and decent food. The only complaint I had was that my takeout took over ten minutes. I ordered the Thai green curry, mac and cheese with meatballs, and pesto cavatappi. My favorite was definitely the Thai green curry, it's a 10/10. The mac and cheese was good for the first few bites, but the bottom had water that wasn't drained from the pasta. The pesto cavatappi was just okay, probably won't get it next time. My first Noodles & Co. I guess the quality is pretty decent, but price and value are pretty poor. Probably won't bother trying this chain again. You pay $6-7 for just a plain bowl of noodles with maybe some veggies and then it's $3-4 to add one type of meat to it. The main problem is that they give you like literally maybe two bites of meat, it's hella scanty. True "where's the beef?" moment when I first opened my bowl up. I got the "Japanese pan noodles" which I assumed would be yakisoba (it was), for an American chain I'll be fair and say that they do a little better job than your usual mall teriyaki joint or whatever. But for $10 total (to add like 1.5 bites of pork) I got a bowl size that you would get for like $5-7 at actual Asian restaurants and food court joints, but those other restaurants would give you a lot more meat at that price. (On that note, given our current climate I'm surprised no one is trying to cancel this chain for "cultural appropriation" lol) It was only filling because yakisoba is inherently a heavy noodle. I guess I would stick with mac and cheese here as at least they have to put a decent amount of cheese in it. Felt like I would have been better off going to the Trader Joes next door and just getting one of their $4 microwave meal things. read more

Haven't been here in a long time. Last I remember it wasn't that good. My wife wasn't feeling too well and was craving some soup and didn't want to go to sweet tomatoes so I suggested she try some chicken noodle soup. Went and put in a to-go order one with chicken noodle soup for my wife and a small cup of tomato basil for me. Chicken noodle soup was flavorless, chicken was dry and overcooked and the noodles were undercooked. My tomato basil wasn't too bad, it had decent flavor and was very thick. We will stick to Sweet Tomatoes for their soup. Not sure we will be going back to this location again. read more

Every time we come to Salt Lake City (Midvale) to go skiing and stay with our Auntie, we usually stop at Noodles & Company. This place is just around the corner from her house and is quick and tasty. This time I had ordered the Trio which you can order any small noodle dish, add to it, chicken, beef, shrimp, meatballs or tofu, then add a side soup or salad and for only $7.50 plus tax, how can you go wrong. My trio started with the Indonesian Peanut Saute (spicy) added chicken with a chicken noodle soup. The others in the group got the Pad Thai noodles, Mushroom Stroganoff with beef, Penne Rosa with tofu. I'm just going to say that we all liked our food and we will always come to the Noodle & Company in Midvale. We are not BIG food critics, but if it taste go we'll always return as we have done for the past four years. Give them a try instead of the fast food burgers joints. I've been driving by this place for a very long time and decided on a cold day let's give this a whirl. I can't remember what I ordered but it wasn't very memorable. I don't know if my wife ordered either but it wasn't that good. We did split a soup and I think the soup was better than our dishes, it tasted of curry. What was surprising was the price tag for the subpar noodles. It was a little over 30 bucks for the two of us. If I am paying 30 bucks it better taste pretty dang good. I've eaten at this Noodles location more than I'd like to admit... actually more than I can even recall. In a past life I worked at Best Buy and so working nearby this Noodles was a frequent lunch and dinner stop for me. My favorite dishes are the Pesto Cavatappi, Tomato Marina, and the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. My wife really enjoys the Penne Rosa. They also have a good tomato soup. I haven't tried their sandwiches yet, but I expect they are pretty decent. The biggest problem with Noodles and with a lot of restaurants is their inconsistency. One of the things you notice when you eat someplace regularly is change. Sometimes the food at this location is great, prepared well and good tasting. Other times that has not been my experience. This is especially true sometimes with their chicken. Sometimes it is tender, fresh and tastes great. Other times its rubbery and overcooked. As Jason said, the staff at this location, especially the cooks, could stand for some improvement. This was not always the case though, a few years back when I was eating here more often, it was considerably better. So it goes. For quick, casual dining Noodles is pretty good. Amazing it was soooo tasty and I love truffle butter it really tastes good on everything, I highly recommend this dish and the cheesy garlic bread!!! I almost didn't visit this location either -- I intended to visit the Japanese restaurant across the parking lot, but it was 2:00 and they had just closed for the afternoon. I stepped right up to the counter and ordered the Pesto Cavatappi with Pork. Nice portion, reasonable price, great taste. The staffers I encountered were all pleasant and my order arrived at my table quickly and exactly as I ordered. Interesting selection of pasta dishes and the food comes out fast. My green salad was 90% tomato and cucumber. This would be great if I liked tomato and cucumber, but I don't. I have been to this location a few times, it seems to get worse each time. They lack customer service, I wasnt greeted, thanked, or have a good day when they gave me my food . I walked in to a girl just standing at the register, as I looked at the menu she pulled another girl away from preparing orders to take my order, what a lazy B****. The girl who took my order was more than willing to help me and was super sweet. I ordered the chicken penne pasta to go. Cold and dry pasta topped with cold chicken and cold cheese. The quality at this location has gone down considerably over time. The portions, plating, taste and consistency of the dishes served here are no longer up to par with what I expect when going out to eat. There was a time when I loved Noodles, and for some locations they've maintained good standards. But This location is worse than most. My last visit I had the Pad Thai with grilled chicken--very bland flavors for an Asian dish, the chicken was chewy and tasted like it was still a bit frozen, and the noodles were undercooked. Since there is a Noodles right across the street from my work., I have been coerced into eating there several times by the girls in the front office, who just seem to love the place. As for me, I've been thoroughly unimpressed. Frequently overcooked, always underwhelming, these pasta dishes leave me yawning. Their 'award winning' mac and cheese just isn't that great. I find their portions wanting, and they can be very stingy with meat, especially the shrimp, that costs extra to add to your dish. But the experience that finally prompted me to write a review was the "Mmmeatball" Sub. This is one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. Where's the beef?? The balls were so small, it was more like a marinara sub. It tasted like a meatball sandwich from a vending machine, if meatball sandwiches came from a vending machine. It was one of those meals that you regret so bad it keeps you up at night. I tossed and turned in bed thinking I could have got a proper meatball sub for the same price at Moochies. Aaarrgghhh.... I gotta give props to the business model. Pasta is the cheapest food base there is. These dishes must literally cost pennies to make. The profit margin must be huge. Okay. I love Noodles. I love their mac and cheese, even though my waistline doesn't. However, this location is the worst I've been to. My boyfriend placed a take-out order in his name, but I ended up running in on a busy night to pick it up. I told them his name, and the girl, maybe 16 years old with layers of makeup, slowly looks me up and down, makes a half-laugh, and goes "...your name is Jeff?" Ok, funny, I told her that was my boyfriend's name and he can come in if needed to verify it was our order. It wasn't ready yet so I had a seat RIGHT NEXT TO THE COUNTER. In other words, I was right next to this girl, so I could hear her. Youd think she would be smart enough to realize that. I waited almost a half hour for my food but I was so excited for that cheesy goodness. Then, while they're finishing my order, two teenage girls are looking at it and suddenly both look at me and the one who originally helped me says to her coworker, "Her name is Jeff. She's a little manly, obviously." Wait, wait, wait. I was about three feet away. I CAN HEAR YOU. They both look at me and laugh. I was horrified and, even though I'm 30 and know I'm not some freak-of-nature, my cheeks were on fire. I walked out without my order. And then spent the next few weeks coming up with brilliant comebacks that I should have said. I'm sorry, Noodles, but I'll never go back, simply due to the horrid experience those girls gave me. If your employees are blatantly rude, I worry about other things they will overlook, like washing their hands before making my food. read more

So I would start this off saying maybe I'm just too picky about my customer service standards, and if you are too, don't go here. I walked in and looked at the menu, waited until the very bland, even a hint I attitude cashier tried to answer questions of the people in front of me, though she didn't do a very good job. I get so irked when people are helping me and answer the phone in the middle of my order. Alright, my turn. She starts off with "what did you want" no welcome, no smile, no greeting. Just like an irritated mother "what do you want" okay, I give her my order and she gives me the total.. Okay, I guess I'm done with my order, I didn't need a drink but thanks for asking. So I sit and wait, the time in which my food was prepared was actually impressive so there's that, and it was average in taste for me. So I get my to-go order and ask "do you have little to go cups, like something I could put sriracha in?" Instead of a "yes" or "no" she just puts a cup of sriracha on the counter and walks away. So I wait until someone pays attention to me again so I can ask them for another cup. Maybe it's just me but I don't think I asked for a cup of sriracha, I simply asked if they had cups like something to put sriracha in, my purpose was to get a cup for soy sauce. But I would say I rate on my service for places, I like to know I'm being taken care of. I feel if I'm not taken care of in person, how do they care for my food!? Who knows. I'm walking away with okay food and a bad customer service experience, raking in two stars for this place. read more

This is part of a larger chain of restaurants, mostly in the western US. It is a fast casual order system. The food is good although I've had a few screw-ups on my orders before. They apologized and quickly fixed the right dish, not a big deal. They do need to work on staff at this location. Since there really are no real noodle houses in SLC you can go to without getting sick this chain is one of the safer choices. They have a good Americanized spin on most of the dishes. read more

Noodles and company has always been my favorite place to go for an inexpensive, delicious dinner. But this experience was so bad that I don't think I will be giving them my business anymore. I recently moved to Draper and I love the location on 12300 South, everyone is kind and the food comes out pretty quickly. When my friend and I received our food at the Midvale location, the Mac and cheese we ordered was just warm pasta with shredded cheese out of a bag on top, the cheese was not melted at all (we had stirred it around a little bit before the picture). I ordered the beef stroganoff, and my pasta had NO stroganoff sauce and a bunch of mushrooms with basically no steak. I walked up to the counter to ask for stroganoff sauce, and there were around 10 teenagers just sitting in the kitchen staring at me. I asked for sauce, they took it to the counter, dumped about double the amount of sauce that should have been on there, didn't even stir it, and then gave it back to me without saying a word. While my friend and I were eating here, they had 3 other complaints. I will not be going back here. read more

I am a fan of Noodles & Co. Their Parma Rosa pasta dish with chicken is one of my faves, as is the new truffle mac & cheese. (If only they threw on a handful more of mushrooms...sigh.) The flatbread is always a great side dish. My husband is a fan of the Bangkok Curry and the kids love the classic Wisconsin mac & cheese. After going to a tasting at Noodles, I discovered their food is prepared fresh to order and they try to source their ingredients locally if possible. That was news to me and a pleasant surprise.
