The last time I ordered from them, I was pretty disappointed. The chow mein was good, it always is. The right amount of salt, and I just get it vegetarian because it's the best one! The BBQ pork bun is usually okay, but something was off this time. The chicken corn soup was tolerable. I don't know what happened with the spring rolls, but they were simply overly oily. They automatically add a 15% gratuity to your bill, and based on their explanation, it's not up for negotiation. If you don't pay attention, you'll be scammed because there tipping "page" pops up first thing when they hand you the machine to settle your bill. In Canada, tips are NOT mandatory. If you are satisfied with the food and service, then you pay a tip that you want - it's a choice. Restaurants cannot add a tip of their choice to your bill, this restaurant is a scam. I'd lodge an official complaint about this shady business. My friends who were there with us will do that too. People need to speak up and not get bullied by shady businesses. We are usually generous with tips but I don't appreciate a restaurant making a tipping decision on my behalf.
