Noodle Saigon is hidden away in a strip mall in North Naples. Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. They have about a dozen or more lunch specials you can choose from, and each comes with your choice of white or brown rice and a salad. I had the tofu with mixed vegetables. It was in a very tasty garlic sauce and loaded with a variety of vegetables that were stir fried tender crisp. This would also be a good option for takeouI would definitely return again.

Pho with beef noodle soup with brisket

Looking for comfort food on a chilly Florida evening? We found just that place. There is nothing like a Pho to warm you from the inside. A well presented menu with lots of options, always a good thing when you're hungry. We found ourselves with a light appetite and after seeing a 'large' serving opted for the small. More than enough for us! Three different broth offerings so you'll decide when you get there but hard to go wrong.

Brisket pho

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, there were only 3 customers and we sat ourselves. We ordered the P2 which was very, very good. Fresh ingredients, good beef and the broth was tasty. Then, we tried the P9, lemongrass noodle soup with chicken. It was literally inedible, as it was a giant bowl of oil. It wasn't a thin layer of oil you could remove with a spoon. It was all oil. Every bite was slippery, coated with oil and left oil splatters all over the table and clothing. We even moved half the broth to an empty bowl in case it was just a thick layer, but no, it was 100 % oil. It then took over fifteen minutes to pay after our table was cleared. Our waters were never refilled and we won't be going back.

Pho was just OK. Egg rolls are small portion. cool ambiance. Not much else to say... nothing.

Bun Bo Hue

Okayyyyy I have been craving some AUTHENTIC Asian cuisine in general since I have moved to Naples - and Noodles Saigon's THE PLACE for Vietnamese! I cannot believe that I can get this delicious bowl of bun bo hue in SWFL - I thought I'd have to fly back to Seattle for this... and I am so happpppy. Please try this dish if you have not had it yet - I highly recommend it! Their eggrolls and spring rolls were delish too!

Summer roll without pork

Craving hot soup, we got off the highway by searching our trusty yelp app for pho. We came here as it was the nearest place not showing as a fusion restaurant. They were fairly busy but we were able to sit right away. There was only one real waiter for the entire room, but he was hustling. We started with a summer roll and asked for shrimp only (no pork). It came out fairly fast, and looked it. It just wasn't wrapped tightly enough. But it tasted okay. I liked the dark peanut sauce along side. We both ordered small chicken broth based soups with egg noodles. I got chicken and he got pork. The broth was flavorful -- there was only pieces of scallions and celery in it plus a clump of al dente egg noodles in the middle. Once we separate the noodles and let them "cook" in the hot broth, they were better. Neither of saw any meat in our bowls at first. On the bottom of the bowl, under the noodles were hidden some thin slices of meat. Along side they brought a plate with three wedges of lime, raw bean sprouts, and sprigs of cilantro. Missing was the jalapeño slices that my husband usually likes to add in, too. As stated, the broth had a good flavor and it was served steaming hot -- perfect for the cool Florida day. It was filling and inexpensive, but a little skimpy. Service was fast. Prices were low. Food is fine... not the best Vietnamese you'll ever have, but certainly still a contender.

Bun bo hue here tasted like water. But the pho is on point. If you go there, get the Pho! Do not get the Bun bo hue.

Sooo delicious and the peanut sauce that they came with made them even better. Definitely a must order. The green curry had big pieces of shrimp in it which I appreciated. We found the portions for the happy hour dishes to be adequate, so the table ordered a variety of different options. Each of us loved what we ordered. Egg rolls were accompanied with lettuce, so can eat the dish like a lettuce wrap. The chicken salad was plentiful and tasty. Not your ordinary salad. Dressing was delicious. The ravioli wasn't what she expected but she loved the flavors regardless. The pre-fix was a choice of appetizer, dinner, and dessert. For dinner, our friend ordered the salmon which was perfectly cooked. Portion size was a regular portion and not reduced because it was a prefix. For dessert, the crème brûlée was creamy, and not overly sweet.

One of our neighbors used to live in the area and recommended anything in Tin City for lunch. We walked to Tin City from the free parking structure just off 5th Avenue and, while we found the area mildly interesting, we didn't like any of the typical joints along the water. Besides, having eaten at Dockside in Venice the day prior, we were looking for something other than seafood. In looking at Yelp, we were intrigued by Ichi Togarishi so we walked back towards 5th Avenue. Located just off 5th Avenue, this small place would be quite easy to miss. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!

We started to notice she was the only server for the entire dining room; I have to assume they were short-staffed or maybe someone didn't show for their shift. I couldn't inquire because our waitress was always in a rush (understandably but it did affect the meal) but unfortunately it affected the meal because she wasn't annoyed or stressed (again, doesn't seem to be her fault but it did affect the meal). We started with a couple appetizers: * Thai Chicken Wings (Peek Gai Tod) - even though they are fried, they weren't heavy (very good) and loved the sweet thai chili dipping sauce * Fried Pork Dumplings - pretty good For our main dishes: * Thai Basil Sauce (Pad Kaprow) - Chicken, basil, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms and carrots sautéed with spicy thai basil chili sauce (wife loved her dish) * Pad Thai - This is my go-to dish and they didn't disappoint. I definitely will be returning... I'm confident the service will be better next time around.

While visiting my family, my mom told me they just opened a new Banh mi place at the outlet. I immediately knew what I wanted for lunch after shopping. It had a great atmosphere and vibe to it. I liked that a lot. Food - the beef and egg banh mi was good. I paid extra for pate and butter but didn't really think it was enough... I compared it to my sister's banh mi and it was the same amount and she didn't pay for extra. The bread was toasty and crispy. The beef is very tender. Meat/veggie ratio to bread was the perfect amount. The addition of the egg made the banh mi so good. My only complaint was the extra pate and butter. I expect it to be dripping out the bread if I'm paying $2 for extra... lol Spring rolls were good also. Plump and stuffed. Peanut sauce was good. I did also tried their Vietnamese coffee but wasn't a fan. It was too sweet for me and texture was like a smoothie. I'm sure that's just my preference because others might like it. Overall, great addition. I would definitely come back if I'm there for a quick bite.

My husband's half ended up having all the mozzarella and no dog. My husband ordered the spicy prime rib tonkotsu and I ordered the lunch prime rib tonkotsu. The portion size seemed to be the same but the lunch order didn't have all the same extras in the bowl. The noodles of both bowls were pretty bland, rubbery, and left a film in my mouth. My husband's broth was slightly more flavorful, but that is because of the spicy bomb in it. All in all, the broth was pretty lacking and did not build up any flavor. The fish cake in my husband's bowl was not good at all. It tasted like gummy pasta with a gross flavor. The seaweed sheet in the bowls was weird and only added a fishy unpleasant taste. Our server was nice, but the food is disappointing. My husband has made ramen bowls at home before and all I can say is his have much more flavorful and he's not a chef.
