Located in the food court adjacent to the Santos building, Noodle Hutt is a very solid standard for a filling, quick and economical lunch. Options in two main varieties: made-to-order noodles and rice plates.
The rice is pretty standard. You can get steamed or fried rice with a smattering of meat and vegetables. Total price including a drink hovers around $10-12. Portions are ample but the rice to filling ratio is a bit skewed to the former.
The noodles however are what keep me coming back. First, you'll need to choose either stir fried or soup noodles followed by the type of noodles (I recommend the flat wide noodles). Then you'll pick the sauce from a list of set Asian options and finish off with your choice of meat and/or vegetables. The range of proteins runs from chicken to seafood and the price escalates from $8.50-$10.
I haven't been disappointed since I started eating here and have made it a point to come almost once a week. The food is hearty, not too oily and won't break the bank. 4-stars for a great working day lunch option! read more
