There's literally anything to satisfy any palate from crispy chicken, fish, salads, haloumi, pork, beef, and the most fantastic chips with aioli sauce that I just can't resist whenever I go there. Vegetarians and gluten intolerants don't despair, Litse has menu options for you too, with an impressive amount of options being gluten free and healthy. You can also choose a cheese platter from 10am onwards which makes someone like me squeal in delight. Litse also has a range of wines for those enthusiasts, but also a kids menu for the little ones. There is something for everyone and it all has a touch of easy sophistication. You'll pay more for mains here - in excess of $20 and sometimes up to $30 - but for an indulgent meal, it's well worth it. Litse also has an all day breakfast menu with traditional bacon and eggs, omelette, and free range eggs on sourdough, just to name a few options. I mean if these people were convinced they were working on a Saturday, I was ready to be served. I ordered a flat white, an orange juice and traditional bacon and eggs with a side of mushrooms. Price wise, it was a little expensive but what they brought out was worth it. The bacon was crisp and not oily, eggs cooked to my request perfectly and the mushrooms hinted with garlic and seasoning a winner. The Coffee was made exactly how I wanted it and was a great drink to accompany my meal. I left Liste with a little less money than what I'd hoped to spend but the service and experience proved to be my reward.

We were here for breakfast; a simple menu yet diverse in its offering from Spanner crab & scallop congee, to "liege waffles". A range of savoury as well as sweet "waffle & pancake" options with prices from $6 - $21.50 & additional "sides" $4.50 - $7. We decided on the savoury; Carne Asada, fried eggs, habanero salsa, chicharrones, & corn tortilla ($18.50). This dish is absolute tops! Ever so tender pulled pork, perfectly complimenting the crunchy textures of the tortilla & chicharrones. One of the best & unique versions of pulled pork we've had in terms of flavour & a big serving. However, this dish does have a spicy chilli kick, so if you're not that way inclined, it may be too early for your palate (as a breakfast dish) to handle. We also ordered the Buttermilk & Ricotta pancakes, with coconut caramel banana ($16). The pancakes themselves were light, fluffy & whilst ricotta isn't something you will necessarily taste, it adds a magical creaminess to each bite. The coconut caramel sauce though was excellent. Perfect consistency & just the right sweetness, so it didn't overpower the banana flavour as well, but add to it. Service was great, being only their second day & quieter in patronage, I suppose it was easy to get served. But the staff were always friendly, welcoming, & had great suggestions with what dishes to try. Coffee is by Campos Coffee, (& although it's not our fave), it was made well by the barista. The Belgian waffle was really cake-like and filling, not really crispy and great tasting. So while this is a cool and groovy dessert bar placed smack bang in the middle of the food court, the desserts (they also have crepes and dutch pancakes on the menu) are all chinese-d up meaning not that authentic tasting. Having a great dessert place is not just being able to serve hot deep fried batters, the taste has to be authentic, care has to be taken to make it authentic... it did fill the dessert hole, it was very very reasonably priced, but there was nothing super special about this place that would warrant me going back on a frequent basis.
