Quick spur of the moment review during my lunch session after my main workout at the Nearby Retro Fitness. I've seen this place many times but now decided to take interest in it and after seeing it, there's not much different between this place and the Famous Rotisserie vendor next to it, though that's not a complaint because I enjoy that spot. Service was quick and orderly, it's very similar to your Panda Express or something at that line. I mainly came because the food was affordable. My lunch was $11 along with $3 for my drink came up to close to $15 factoring tax to the equation. I had Teriyaki Chicken, thin noodles and fried rice. A simple, good and filling meal which makes for a rare cheap eat that is becoming more of a rarity nowadays. Atmosphere? It's in the food court of the Queens Center Mall. Usually it's very spacious but it was Labor day when I was down there so it was crowded and loud. Either way I still got my seat and began eating. The place has many options so I'll most likely make a 2nd visit soon enough. read more

The sauce from the main made it better but not by much. I previously had the chicken teriyaki and I liked that better. Got it with sweet potatoes which were tasty. I'll keep trying this place cause they're not bad. Just depends what you get. They don't have labels on the food and it looked like they had two pans of the same chicken. Noodle House is a small takeout restaurant in Queens Center Mall's food court. They have some noodles, but most of the food is just assorted Chinese food. Their grilled steak is pretty good. They asked what level of done-ness I wanted, which would have been impressive for a $13 steak dish, but it came out well done. Still, it was juicy and tender, though heavily seasoned. Ordering process: could be improved. Their TV screens with menus on them were blinking weirdly. Many of their meals come with one or more sides that you choose. Most are easily recognizable, but I feel like they should label them. There are bathrooms and tables nearby in the food court. The seating area requires a vaccine card. read more

Every mall food court has a default Asian option and for the Queens Center Mall that option is Noodle House. When the fast food chains and typical mall food aren't cutting it, I would typically recommend something like this. But sadly, I've had enough subpar meals here to know better and I think it's best to avoid until they figure out how to service the crowd and get their food taste like the bangin' Asian American fare it should be. I'm probably the wrong audience for this kind of food, but I like to think that with the right craving that I too could gorge on teriyaki chicken, some breaded meat over rice, greasy lo-mein, and a real subpar fried chicken. Where I give the extra star is that they're generous with samples (try everthing!) and the portion sizes are quite sizeable compared to their neighbors in the food court. But when the food isn't up to par, I end up having to toss most of it. I hate wasting food, but I'll stick to the other options available at the mall. read more

Noodle house is really good place to come eat at when on lunch, depending on the time of day the lines can be really long (Queens Center Mall is busy). They have a variety of meals to choose from each within a decent price range. They have four TV screens that show you what foods they have available. If you aren't sure you can always ask them, they were very helpful when I wasn't sure what to order. The aunty was suuuper generous with my order which was the 2 chickens and 2 sides. I went with the bbq chicken and sweet and sour chicken alongside noodles and mixed vegetables (mostly broccoli). The sauce for the sweet and sour chicken was a bit too concentrated and there was more of the batter than chicken pieces. The bbq chicken was quite nice though. I like this place. It is inside the Queens Center Mall. I think it is great that if you are here on a sunday or something right before closing time, you can get a discount on some stuff like the main 2 dish item plus the rice or lo mein or whatever is left for $2.99. I like the chicken wings here too, if there are any left at end of day. Teriyaki chicken tastes pretty good as well. Ordered from here not too long ago. I come to the Queens Center Mall often, & had a craving for lo mein. I ordered it w/ the fried fish (they charge extra), & the chicken wings. The orange food coloring on the wings soaked through into the chicken, making the meat orange; & partly mushy. You might say my tolerance for certain things might be higher then alot when it comes to eating out, so when i say the food was bordering gross, it's bad! This is the restaurant ive been going to since it opened, its cheaper than sarku japan and a lot less dry than the chicken teriyaki sarku japan has. they should reduce the sweetness in their chicken teriyaki and add more noodles in the order instead of more chicken. They have generous helpings and its all very fresh....right off the cook top, lol I always get the Lo Mein, cabbage or sometimes the broccoli. The other day I got sweet potatoes. but I always always get the chicken teriyaki and the spicy chicken. this food is so delicious. Once I did get the vegetable soup once and it was very delicious also. The food is cheap and you get a lot for your money. The food is good. Some days the meat is nice and soft, falling off the bone. Other days the meat was tough. Its a good place to eat if you want to watch a lil tv and be served fast. Lots of options for spices and sauces. Cons: As of 01-01-2016 There has been a price increase AND a fee if you use your credit card. This place is a little over priced. Came here today and I bought noodle soup and i found a little piece of stainless steel scrubber and some kind of plastic in my soup. And also beware of getting over charged for what you not order, always ask for the receipt. That time when i was about to pay and i saw at the screen while the cashier charged me for the soup + soda and another extra $1 then i try to asked her what is $1 for and then she start scream and yell " I didn't charged you $1". Rude worker and don't know how to talk to the customer. So beware at the food and what they charged you for... no wonder why they always ask you if you need receipt or not. read more

My favorite place to eat in the food court. The portions are great for the price. Absolutely love their porkchops with white rice. No other can compare to it within the Queens Center mall food court. This place obviously does not compare to a four star Asian restaurant, but for a quick meal especially in a mall food court, it's really great. The portions are huge and the prices are such a bargain (both dishes were around $6)! The food is very tasty and I always feel satisfied after I finish my meal. I frequent here and their food is pretty tasty. It's seasoned well and they give good portions. However, today when I went to order my food something VERY uncomfortable happened. They usually make your plate, and then you go pay for your meal at the register. That is exactly what the patron before me DID & he was on his way. When I placed my order, the server proceeded to speak to another coworker in their own language and did not make my plate. I'm told that I have to pay first!? A hidden gem. The beef stew soup is excellent here. Not greasy and very tasty. Honestly haven't tried anything else on the menu, and don't need to. I work at the mall and I wanted to try something new so I went to this place and asked what one of the chicken was flavored. The lady in the front said teriyaki, I'm pretty familiar with the taste so I asked to try their "BBQ" chicken and she gave me teriyaki chicken instead. I took it and asked if I could try the BBQ, again. After i tried it and I asked what the last chicken was flavored, she said "sweet and sour."
