A fresh twist on a classic: Red California Roll!
    Fefe P.

Real talk, Yelp fam...Noodle Decatur reviews can be a little bit controversial LOL. Over the years, I've noticed people either really like it or they don't (and everything in between). And with all the options in Atlanta for sushi, noodles, or amazing Asian-inspired dishes, why come here? Technically, Noodle is in downtown Decatur near the city. It's a family-owned local business, which I really appreciate it. The menu pulls from a mix of Asian cuisines, which definitely shows when you're checking out the choices. I've never dined it, so Delivery or Takeout is my "go to". On this most recent visit, after a long road trip to ATL...I needed an energy boost (in the form of sushi :-). Noodle gave me exactly what I needed, which is why I keep coming back: You know how there are just certain places that do things just the way you like them? That's Noodle for me! When I want something tasty, reasonably priced, and fast, they just get me! And the couple times when they didn't get something quite right, the staff has been quick to make it better, so I'll give them credit for great customer service, too. Noodle says their focus is speed, value, and full flavor. And honestly, that lines up with my experience. Maybe I've just had good luck, but it works for me. Happy Eating!

Noodle is one of my favorite lunch spots in Decatur. A solid selection of Asian dishes including their famous Fried Rice!

This quaint little spot is one of my favorite places for a quick lunch. The staff is extremely attentive and very quick. After the lockdown, Noodle did not return to full service anymore. Instead, they do a 'to-go' system, where you order at the counter, receive your food to-go, but can stay and eat at the restaurant. Technically, no waiting staff. Which works and gets people in me out quickly. Their food has always been on-point. I particularly steer towards the famous fried rice, which is delicious. But at times it can be a bit greasy. So keep an eye on it if you're on a diet. Well... it's also a massive portion that seems to be for a family of four, but for the price and the flavor.. this is the best deal. The sushi is always good as well. They are not a sushi restaurant, so they don't have full offerings that you're likely to see in some bigger restaurants, but they do well with what they do offer. My favorite so far is the crunchy tuna roll. With a nice topping of yum yum sauce... it gives it the extra edge. Overall, I really like the neighborhood feel of the restaurant. The food is good, and it's all well priced. Solid choice!

I decided to grab lunch at Noodle today, and I must say they have a variety of options. However, I decided to have the General Tso chicken. I was not disappointed. Regarding the ambiance, it appears that the restaurant is closing as everything seems to be a bit blocked off. I'm Thinking it's a staffing issue. Nonetheless, if they work through this, the restaurant will be more appealing for its guests.

Build-a-Bowl : brown rice, chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, bell pepper, spicy basil sauce
    Kyja W.

My work ordered takeout from here yesterday (I can't speak on service or ambiance because my coworker picked it up for us all). For my lunch, I chose to Build-a-Bowl : brown rice, chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, bell pepper, spicy basil sauce. Over all, it was okay! The sauce was not spicy at all so I had to use my own to amp it up. The chicken kind of reminded me of the kind you can get in the frozen section of the grocery store--not the highest quality, but it was fine. The veggies were good and the rice was standard. They give nice sized portions--I got 2+ meals out of it. To be honest, I probably wouldn't choose this place on my own time and dime, but I'm not opposed to putting an order in if that's what we're getting.

No service for food as everything is take out. 鳗鱼卷3:$10 for 5 pieces of sushi... 味道一般 河粉牛3.5:味道很不错 但是河粉质量太硬 不是有弹性 就是材料很一般 大葱胡萝卜洋葱的味道也很好

For the past year this place has been my spot when I'm not in the mood to cook. Last week I went in and ordered the famous rice with protein. When I got home,I realized they left out the shrimp. I didn't bother going back because they were closing in less than 30 mins. Today I go to pickup lunch. I'm eating the rice out of the container and I bit down on something hard. It was a small piece of broken glass SERIOUSLY. Enough for me to chip a tooth or cut the inside of my mouth. I'm done with Noodle. Fresh To Order getting my business.

Saturday evening, the parking was full behind the restaurant so I dropped off the family and parked at my gym a block down the street. My husband ordered the mixed tempura and the picante roll. I ordered the toro box roll which the whole family enjoyed. Son ordered the salmon which takes 25 minutes to prepare but was worth the wait. Daughter ordered the tempura ramen and liked how they gave her a pot of dried peppers to add to the ramen. Food was outstanding and I think five different staff members came by to check on us. The low sodium soy sauce is in the small shirt container and the regular soy sauce is in the taller container. The plates were pretty and the wooden utensils was unique. I love how the fish is flown in from Japan weekly. And I noticed the health inspection score is now an A, 92. We were in and out within an hour which I thought was extremely prompt. All the food was delicious and I would recommend highly!

The other items that we love is the Octopus salad (which they only offer in the evening when available), eel roll, spicy crunchy tuna roll, super veg roll (for me!), north roll, scorpion roll, miso soup, and the green salad with ginger dressing. This is a family-owned Japanese eatery that specializes in comfort food, and according to their website, everything is made from scratch, which absolutely shows in the quality. I placed my order online and picked it up with ease. I ordered the Shrimp Saku Saku appetizer along with a fresh garden Tenya salad. The shrimp were excellent, perfectly crispy with a flavorful panko coating that didn't feel heavy or greasy. The salad was impressively fresh and came with their house-made ginger dressing, which paired beautifully with the crisp greens and added just the right balance of sweetness and tang. I watched her later collect 8 tables worth of dirty glasses lol but she gave me the attitude like I was nit picky person lol its all good I chuckled myself and didnt hold it against her. I was vindicated when I watched her scurrying around and couldn't immediately find clean glasses. The restaurant had 2 parties finishing up. Not busy at all. Food: 3 stars; we only came here because THAICOON (around the corner) was closing. I highly recommend thaicoon, ive been going since 2008. The California roll was decent, the shrimp spicy basil fried rice was good and i was impressed they didnt skimp on the shrimp, the coconut chicken soup was good. The star of the show for me was the sweet tea. The food wasnt bad but it didnt knock our socks off either, it could've used more seasoning. It's more like commercial Thai vs authentic Thai. Price point: 2 stars: the items I described above came to roughly $53, totally not worth it! Lol the portion size didnt match the price point. At thaicoon i wouldve paid $46 for the same items. Maybe $7 isn't a big difference to alot of you but that extra $7 there wouldve gotten me an appetizer at thaicoon or i could've put another $10 with it and got another dish. Cleanliness: 3 stars: 3 tables needed bussing, dirty water glasses ob several tables lol, they was having a rough night. Overall; I wouldnt come back if thaicoon is open. If thaicoon was closed and i really wanted thai food i would maybe give them another try. I wasnt bad and im not trying to slam them, my dinning experience couldve been better. Plus side is they do validate your parking ticket if you park in the garage. I would give them a solid 3 stars, had the portion sizes been a tad bigger or cheaper, or had the service been better i wouldve given them 4 stars.

Maybe I should try again... but the strawberries were sour, and I couldn't taste anything besides the sour strawberry and creamy avocado then with the addition of soy sauce after trying to find a good balance, I found the roll confusing. Any of the ramen choices are fine, it's good enough, but I would personally go elsewhere if I was craving ramen in Midtown.
