But, having pizza & crust curled up, in a tight square food Styrofoam container, is not good for pizza. It shifted my pizza toppings & separate the toppings from the top of the entire pizza. A flat container, tray, pizza paper or flat pizza box would be better, so that a hot pizza can remain flat. No Styrofoam please ! read more

If I were David Portnoy This place would get a 1.2 rating. It's probably the only pizza place all of the Chicago and the Suburbs that makes beggars pizza seem good and they suck also. So take warning If you're on the fence should we get just get Dominoes in the pizza capital of the Midwest or trying something new do yourself a favor and order Dominos. I've had Frozen microwaveable pizza that had more flavor than this pizza. The Sauce is so horrible it makes you question whether you might have COVID again and you lost your taste buds. Nonna's pizza had pretty great tasting wings! We got a half a pound (which was 5 wings) of spicy buffalo and it was pretty fresh and tasty. Pretty misleading for it to be half a pound tho considering they're so tiny in person. The pizza however, was HUGE. Too bready for my preference but it was decent. Nonna's pizza is my partner's favorite pizza restaurant in the area. I'd say that their food is delicious, but the service is awful. I walked in today to inform the staff member at the counter that I'm here to pick up my food. She went to check on it, but doesn't tell me what the estimated wait time is, and then she proceeds to hang out in my vicinity and pretends to not hear me when I asked a follow up question. I then asked her colleague who came by and didn't say hi by the way, and he said it'd take about 12 minutes. I told him ok cool I'll hang out in the car and will be back in a bit. When I came back, the same lady who I encountered before act like she didn't just see me and spoke with me like 10 minutes ago, and I reminded her what I was here to do. I get it if it's super busy and there's a long line or people dining in, but it's literally me and the staff at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Then there's more staff coming by the counter but hiding and avoiding me because it's been 12+ minutes and my food isn't ready, and it's awkward because I'm the only one there. So the guy who quoted me 12 minutes came out shortly with just my pizza, and I asked if my garlic bread was also ready, and that's when he said yep let me go get that. He could've easily given me both, but I did appreciate him more than any of the others I've interacted with. I really want to love this place because they have good food, and it's a household favorite which is why I'm not more harsh on the overall rating. But I think I'll have to give them another chance on a different day, or simply order delivery instead to avoid interaction. The food quality has gone downhill and the customer service is absolutely terrible. Management doesn't care about the customer experience or honoring promotions from there own website. The last time we ordered from them we wanted to place an order for 2 stadium pizzas on a Thursday night at 11:15pm, that was 45 minutes until close. At first we were told they would not accept cash, we said that would be fine. The girl answering the phone seemed surprised and stated they could not do delivery and again that they would be closing at midnight, which we said we understood we would pick it up. She then told us that we would have to pay with a credit card over the phone even though we were coming in to pick it up. We found this a bit strange but said that we could do this. Finally she allowed us to order while seeming frustrated. While ordering I explained that we tried to place the order online but it wouldn't work since there system was down. I asked if they would honor the normal $7.00 off a stadium pizza for one of the pizza's since the site was down. She began to tell me how I should be happy they are even taking the order and that they would not accept any coupons. I explained again how it was a coupon from there site, which is when she told me they don't care and to talk to there manager if I have an issue but she was not there. I told her it seemed as though they didn't want to make the food or get our business with how she was acting. At that point all she said was "oh well", to which we canceled our order. The next day I called and sent an email to the management staff which I never heard back from. I believe with companies losing business and struggling so much recently they should not be disrespecting paying customers and ignoring there staff problems. I usually go to Nonna's to get their individual slices of pizza, which are huge. Have been going here for years and have yet to be disappointed by their pizza. Today I decided to order a whole pizza for the family specifically the taco pizza. It sounded good, but man was I wrong. Very very disappointed do not recommend! First of all it was very very bland and dry. It comes with ground beef, lettuce, onions, mozzarella cheese, nacho cheese, olives, tomatoes and Doritos. There was barely any ground beef or nacho cheese. The lettuce was not shredded and basically in chunks. Who wants a whole piece of lettuce on their pizza? Ingredients were not distributed in equal portions and presentation looked sloppy. To top it all off there weren't any Doritos on my pizza. Waste of money unfortunately. read more

Didn't know this place existed until they sent me a coupon in the mail and boy am I happy I tried it! Delicious Spicy Buffalo *boneless* wings! The sauce reminds me of the one I LOVE from Italian express on Devon :) The stadium pizza (what we usually go for) is always more than enough and we like it. If I could give this location zero stars I would. I'm very new to this area in oak lawn, (I had came all the way from Joilet) but while picking up a friend I was looking for quick takeout restaurants. Based upon the photos and reviews I could not wait to try it. First things first the place indoors is extremely dirty. Garbage in parking lot and right in the door way, greasy windows, and sticky floors. You might want to have the young lady at the counter, Madison start wiping the walls. I went on 11/7 , as I approached the counter no hello no welcome in, the young lady was extremely rude, definitely looked like she was ready to leave for the day. She was on her phone and didn't even acknowledge I was standing right in front of her. She had the nastiest attitude while taking my order. Not to mention the other young ladies in the back eating, gossiping, and laughing. Madison was taking my order and had rolled her eyes at me (I was ordering for a few people) and you could clearly tell how annoyed this cashier was. I waited for about 30 minuets for 5 slices of pizza. I found it odd since there was no one else in the restaurant. The owner needs mature and professional workers. Not their young bratty high school girls. 0/10 for the disgusting customer service. When I finally received my food I drove about 10 minuets to my destination all my food was COLD. And my daughter had found a thin blonde hair very deep into the sauce as if it was intentional. I was furious. I tried contacting the store but of course I was sent to their dumb voicemail over and over again. We were greeted by Meaghan (sorry if I misspelled her name) and Sam's warm and bright smiles. They were so courteous and informative of the prices and foods and I loved their personality. I have had real genuine Italian pizza and let me tell you..Nonna's is damn good and I will definitely be coming back here on my lunch breaks..did I mention a salad, drink, and humongous slice of pizza all for just 6 bucks!!! read more

Honestly their $5 pizza and a drink is sub a fantastic deal. You get basically a fourth of the pizza for $5. Is it the best slice in the world? No. Is it amazing when you're settling down from a night out? Yes. I will say that their actual pizza isn't too bad though. We always order from here for work on Fridays.
