This was my first time checking out this place and I was pleased with my time. I think they had a very good lunch special menu and their food was pretty decent. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went and we were sat near the window. The dining room is pretty low key, not too many decorations or anything. The food was okay, pretty standard for a sushi restaurant but if you are in the mood for sushi and live in Lake Nona I think this is a great place to go to! The lady waitress was really nice and sweet!

The fried rice lacks the flavor it used to have. I'll pass.

Nona Sushi has fallen off a bit. I came for some of the fried rice I used to love so much, and left feeling disappointed. The flavors are just gone. It's no longer worth the price. I don't eat sushi, so I can't speak to that. It might be amazing, but I'll never know. Thankfully Durian Durian in the same plaza still has great fried rice. I'll be going there.

Bare hands touching sushi rolls.

While to food is good. The garlic edamame is amazing. I can't in good faith leave a positive review. I walked in to pick up a very large order the other day and aside from the fact that it wasn't ready on time... the two men rolling sushi were not wearing masks and gloves. One man had an ill-fitting mask with no gloves handling food and rolls with his bare hands. The other than gloves on and no face mask. I believe on of them is the owner. We're in a pandemic. For the love of everyone's safety- wear proper protective equipment! And, avoid eating here if you care about your health.

Excellent, unassuming and wonderful find. Great variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with great presentation, service and inventiveness. It wasn't crowded the food came out in a timely manner and the Sake I had was so strong I was literally feeling tipsy after one cup, the menu selection had a large variety for only the lunch menu. Overall I recommend this place if you want something quick to eat. I was so impressed with my lunch this afternoon I tried the Yakisoba Shrimp Noodles and my girlfriend got the Spicy seafood noodle soup . We both finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back!" Only reason I'm giving this place a four star is because of the stench it had as we walked in. Once that is fixed this place will be awesome !

This was incredible!!!! Go there!!! Do not pass go!!!! The food was delicious and timely!!!

It's a MUST DO, sushi restaurant!! GO GET IT!! You will not be disappointed!!! It was some of the best I have had, and I travel the world!

Delicious rolls from Nona Sushi!

I am blown away by the current rating. The food is so delicious, fresh, and the service is friendly. We come here at least once a month and they are always busy. We went with friends to Seito's in Dr. Phillips and totally regretted paying the money, and wished we could have spend that at Nona Sushi.

Great experience here! Came on Mother's Day, they were totally packed but we were able to grab a table. Service was prompt and friendly. We had 3 miso soups which were delicious. Then we ordered the super crunch roll, jade roll, pirate roll and dynamite roll. They were all so delicious we had to order another super crunch and jade roll! Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend if you are looking for great sushi!

Service is great food is yummy! My kids ordered the chicken nuggets, fresh chicken coated in panko! I ordered the nona bomb, nona hamachi and sunrise roll, so delicious.

So what I did eat of my sushi tasted good, no issues. That is until I found a piece of hair in not one, not two, BUT THREE pieces of the sushi. I have always loved this place but I'm pretty sure I won't be going back.

I hadn't been here since before pandemic, so I hoped the restaurant was still on their game. I needn't have been concerned! From arrival, to seating, to service, to selection, all top notch. Carving station. Fresh crepes. Omelette station. WALL of deserts. Full raw bar. Crab legs. Mimosas. Great selection of traditional breakfast options and salads. If you are not satisfied here, give up (smile)!! And the topper was the live jazz trio playing in the beautifully sunlit rotunda surrounded by all of the aforementioned delicacies. There was also live jazz playing near the buffet, which added such a nice, relaxing vibe. Parking downtown can be tricky, so we used the hotel valet, but there are nearby garages as well if you prefer to self-park. The buffet was phenomenal. My favorites were the mac and cheese, prime rib, shrimp (they were HUGE), crab legs, and the tableside cinnamon bun dessert -- honestly worth the trip just for that. My only downside was that the oysters didn't taste very fresh. Overall, the ambiance was beautiful and it's a perfect brunch spot for a date or a family outing. Definitely a lovely Sunday experience!

The restaurant is nicely decorated. It feels warm and inviting. Clean, but nostalgic. The waiter/bartender was wonderful. Very attentive, friendly and hard working. They were super busy, but we felt well-taken care of. I ordered the 8oz filet with broccolini as a side. We ordered truffle fries to share as a table. We had a couple of glasses of wine. The ambiance of the restaurant was very intimate and dimly lit, with black and red accents everywhere, including the tables with one red rose placed in a small vase. Bojan was our server and he was spectacular. He explained the wine list and menu to us and asked if we needed any assistance in choosing / had any questions about the menu. My only complaint of the evening is our appetizers seemed to take a tad bit long to be served, but everything else was fabulous. I ordered the tequila lavender cocktail, which is nothing like I've ever tasted before. It had coconut cream, lime, tequila, and lavender. It was delicious. We started off by sharing a Caesar salad and Parmesan truffle fries. We also were served bread service with a side of garlic oil. The caesar salad was served with a Parmesan pita crisp, and the fries were very crunchy and delicious. We split two entrees: the salmon and the vegan stuffed shells. The stuffed shells were fairly small, with only 4 in the entree, but was nonetheless flavorful and delicious. I almost forgot it was vegan! The salmon was a large cut and served over a creamy risotto and was my favorite of the evening. It was delicious. We ordered the lava cake for dessert and Bojan went the extra mile by placing a birthday candle inside of it and ended up providing the dessert on the house! This was so special and we appreciated it so much.

They have a little sign by the street to help you find it/advertising, as it's in the hallway of the plaza. It's on the ground level so we didn't have to take any stairs or elevator. Upon entry, there was no one to greet us. We headed to the register where they had a bunch of menus and pictures. While we were looking, the lady came out from the back with food items for someone who was already seated. Everything looked good. There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp. Mom had the bento box lunch. We asked for two cups for water, which she said she would bring to us. We sat for awhile, and saw the others and the to go person get their food. The water cups did not come until after she brought us our food. Maybe that's the way they do it? Anyhow- our food was out in a reasonable time and everything was delicious. I tried some of mom's beef bento box- she got the bulgogi beef and we were both a little shocked that it was ground beef and not thin slices, but the flavor was spot on. My mom did not finish her lunch and I had a small portion of rice left. When I asked for one to go box- the lady almost seemed upset that I didn't want two! She asked me what about my leftovers? To which I said my mom was taking everything in one box. lol. We don't like to waste and I wasn't going to toss mine but it seemed silly to get another box for the little bit of rice I had. So we put it all in one. We paid at the register and took our box. There are many more items on the menu I'd like to try. My mom was pretty impressed with the place. It's nothing to look at, really, but the food is good and she will probably bring her friends here for lunch.
