It was heavy on the mayonnaise ( so let them know to go easy on it lol ), and a normal amount of ketchup. An order of fries were delivered hot and crispy! I think they may coat the fries with something to make it crispy. Nice. The burger was moist and it had a barbecue/ teriyaki flavor to it. I thought it was tastier and better than our usual nearby burger place. They also offer dessert here. I ordered the trio combo that came with pumpkin square, haupia-chocolate square and a small pannacotta with a sliver of fresh strawberry on top. I tried the haupia-chocolate square and it was good. My other half ordered the green river drink. I took a sip of it and it reminded me of Harder's syrup. IYKYK. Too sweet for me. We spoke to one of the owners there and everyone we met at W & M were nice and friendly. The counters are clean and the wall art on the parking area is picture perfect. The free parking is a plus. The worker there hands me two paper cups with just ice cream in them. I said, "I'm sorry but I asked for caramel sundaes." The worker said, "This is a plain sundae." What the heck is a plain sundae? A sundae, by definition, is ice cream with a topping on it, usually fudge or chocolate, sometimes strawberry or caramel. A sundae has toppings. I learned that at McDonald's, "plain sundae" is something you can order and it's just a cup of soft serve. In any case, I didn't order a plain sundae, I ordered a caramel sundae. The worker yelled something back to the first person who I had ordered from, then topped the ice creams with some caramel and handed them back to me. At least the price is the same for a "plain sundae" and caramel or chocolate versions, so I didn't have to pay the difference. Also, I gotta say, McDonald's really is practicing shrinkflation, as the last time I got a caramel sundae when it used to be in the plastic cups, it sure seemed like a lot more ice cream and a lot more caramel. Additionally, we order fries with our order that were thick cut, but overly salted. They were also not fresh and were a little soggy upon eating them. The flavor of the two burgers was fine, again, aside from the patty being well done. There is a sauce on it, but thankfully not drenched, which I can appreciate. The pickles on both burgers were also pretty good. Anyway, this place was just... okay. Did I hate it? No, but would I go back? Probably not.
