We had boorsok for our appetizer, fried dough bites that reminded me of funnel cake without sugar, and there were a lot! I had the strawberry mojito drink, and it was fantastic, really tasting of fresh fruit with many mint leaves inside. The khachapuri was extraordinary. They do imeruli style, round and similar to a pizza, the crust beautifully blistered and the cheese thick with a wonderful pull. One of my friends hadn't had khachapuri before and is now a convert. We also had boso lagman, with hand-pulled noodles and beef, and big manty dumplings with flavorful meatballs inside. I requested we get a slice of honey cake, too, and that was a perfect finish to the meal. Sweet but not overkill, and really tasted like honey, graham crackers, and cream. I'm not sure when I will possibly be in this area again, but wow, I would come here again.

The decor offered great ambiance! In order to try a couple of items my sister and I decided to split the laghman and eggplant salad. The laghman was excellent with fresh hand-pulled noodles. I appreciated that they split the dish in the kitchen for us. The eggplant salad was a good portion to supplement the noodles. But points of caution that they are fried and have an almost sweet and sour sauce on top which for me was a little heavy. Overall quick and efficient service for a sit down lunch during the work week. They also appeared to have an extensive drink menu of different lemonade and coffee that I would be interested to try next time.

There were a number of her high school friends along w/her daughters that hosted the event. When we arrived the restaurant parking lot was completely full. I dropped off my wife and one of her classmates @ the door & went to find a parking spot. The restaurant was packed w/people waiting to be seated & people coming in to pick up their carry out orders.

Both the service and quality of food has gone way down from what they were famous for. The waitress spilled my tea, also dipped her finger in my tea, had no apology or offer to exchange it with a fresh cup. I had to ask her for a fresh cup of tea. Then the other server that brought our entrees spilled my husbands tea and again no offering to getting a fresh cup. We had to ask AGAIN for a fresh cup! While the portions were generous, the quality of all the food has gone way down. The special family recipe of thier shrimp dish Gan Pong is nothing but fried shrimp with dried chili peppers and no flavor. The Hunan spicy beef and chicken appeared to be all globs and sticky because of excessive and over use of corn starch used during the cooking process. This dish didn't have any unique flavor that one would expect. Previously we had experienced a difference in the food, taste and quality and that's what kept us returning. Sadly, after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or come back! I'd rather stick with Yu's Mandarin than drive to this place! Quality always wins over quantity in my books!

We ran out of rice at home; a staple for this Filipina! I was pleased with the quality of food here, variety, and helpful store employees, that I plan to return again soon, even if it is a little farther for us to travel. Let's just say, I am avoiding the parking lot mess and longer lines at nearby H-Mart or Jong Boo in Schaumburg. I appreciate that my favorite brown sushi rice cones in a 5 or 15 pound bag. And there is a good variety of sauces and seasonings to make my favorite dishes at home. The food court here is a definite must and the salmon sushi roll with soy paper we had was so fresh, the salmon was "like butter." The ingredients, with a little bit of spice inside, went well with the fruit kissed brews at nearby Mikerphone Brewing. They let you b.y.o. food at the brewery, so Tensuke makes a convenient stop. The sweet lady at the register complimented my choice of the Hello Kitty Soy Sauce bottle. (So I am a sucker for cute condiments!) I look forward to trying some hot food items here, next visit.

We ordered the calamari appetizer, it was really delicious and worth the money! They looked like onion rings and were not chewy and were easy to eat. Our waitress was very sweet. My husband ordered the Shrimp fried rice... unfortunately a man came out of the kitchen after 10 minutes and said that they don't have any more fried rice. He did give us a free crab Rangoon appetizer to make up for it. The outside was very light and crispy and the center just melted away! My husband and I both ended up ordering the pho #2 (Beef noodle soup base with Sliced Beef, Tendon, Tripe, Brisket) If you dine in between 3pm and 6pm on weekdays you save 20% (make sure you tell them when you pay because they don't just automatically give the discount to you) We are glad that we dined here the food was really good and served at the proper temperature. If your in the area (and have at least an hour) stop in and give this place a try! You will not be disappointed.

The interior is antiquated; the walls are coated in an awful green color, and the flooring is this horrible brown tile. It was neat and orderly, which is a positive. Additionally, it provides everything I need to enjoy my meal. I started with their Asian-fried chicken wings as an appetizer. It features a decent balance of drums and flats. The breaded is salty, and the portion is tiny. It had a thin layer of brown sauce on it. It has a distinct flavor that best defines it as a blend of butter and hoisan sauce. The sauce was chilled and the wings were warmed but not crispy. Unfortunately, I believe they purchased it from a grocery store's readymade wings. I ordered their special pho for my main course, the broth has a deep, dark color and an oily coating on the surface. It smells nice, but the flavor isn't that strong. Although the tripe and tendon are tough to chew, the beef is tender. Although the rice noodles are firm and chewy, they clammed up together. I assumed the noodles were cooked and left to sit for a while. Although I enjoyed every bit of the pho, the broth was awful.
