We asked Michael to install a lot of pictures of varying sizes at short notice, ac couple were in pretty awkward places requiring a ladder - plus they were heavy. Michael did a fantastic job, he hung. total of 43 pictures . He had great insights into location , height, eyeliner, use of space etc... We would highly recommend. read more

We've used Mike twice now to hang photos and artwork, including pieces that were heavy and were to be placed up high. One piece, and old framed mirror, was coming out of the frame, which had to be repaired before it could even be moved, let alone hung. We were afraid the entire frame (which was original to the mirror) might have to be replaced. Mike made the repairs in a matter of minutes, and hung the piece without problem. He is a consummate professional who shows up on time, does excellent quality work, does it fast, charges reasonable prices, and is a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him. If we could give him ten stars we would! read more

The reviews speak for themselves here - Mike is THE GO TO for art installation in the Bay Area. I had recently acquired a high value piece of original art that needed professional installation to get it "just right." Mike followed up from my initial enquiry within a day and we were able to setup an installation at a time that worked out to be perfect for the both of us. When Mike showed up, he was briefed on the installation and he gave some recommendations for placement. From there, he worked his magic and within 30 minutes he had everything secured and looking absolutely perfect. read more

Mike was fantastic. I needed help with hanging a gallery wall, plus a couple other art pieces in another room. He was right on time, friendly, and helped us figure out the layout of the gallery wall (after seeing it laid out, we realized it needed another piece I had planned to have hanging alone in a different room). He has a great eye for design, created a great organic layout and spacing, and was really quick with the actual hanging. He used two D rings/hooks to hang each piece, which is much more secure in the event of an earthquake. He hung two other canvas companion pieces that are the same size, and pointed out that other lines in the room weren't perfectly even (it's an old house) so he had a plan to hang them to make everything look level even though it actually isn't. I would never have noticed it without using a level, so his awareness and attention to detail are very high. Everything was clean and looked amazing when he was done--and it's such a relief to finally have this project done. Mike was great to work with and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs help hanging art or anything. Plus, he knows how to hang stuff on plaster walls, which is great with the number of old homes throughout the Bay Area. He will make your apartment/house/office look amazing, and his prices were fantastic for the value. I wish I had found him months ago. Highly recommend! read more

From the moment I requested a yelp quote and Mike swiftly, clearly replied, to the same type of return call, I couldn't be happier with the quality and service I received from Nomad. Mike spelled out his services, arrived on time, great communicator, respected my wishes but also gave great suggestions & ideas. He worked fast, my art, mirrors, all sizes went up in new ways I didn't think of and now my house feels better than it has in 19 years! Call Mike! read more

AMAZING! Mike installed seven pieces of art and mirrors for me this year, and did it perfectly. He has an artist's eye and an architect's precision, and advised me on the best location and placement for some prints I wasn't sure where to hang. Mike is responsive, communicative, prompt and efficient, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Don't bother contacting anyone else; you'll just be wasting time and money. read more

Just agreeing with other reviewers that Mike is a gem. Easy to work with, showed up on time, understood my needs and offered his help in setting a very random assortment of family photos (different sizes, different frames, some B&W some color) into a nice arrangement on the wall -- which I never could have done on my own. Kind. He worked quickly, and his cost came in below his estimate. Honestly I didn't know that this service existed and found him by Googling. I lived seven years in my previous apartment and barely put a nail in the walls because I usually hang things off center or too high or crooked. Mike is the solution. read more

Mike was fantastic. He sent a reminder and was on time. We had a collection of six photos that needed precision hanging.
