I highly recommend the services of Manuel at Red Rocker. I hired him to refinish two French Antique pieces, a dining table and an Empire Chest, both over 100-years old. He loves working with wood and takes tremendous pride in his work, which was evident with the results! Manuel is extremely good at communicating, and he skillfully guided me through a tricky situation as he was removing a 30-year old French polish finish. He set expectations on his services and delivered! He'll be my first call for any future restoration or refinishing work. read more

I am so glad that I found Manuel to repair a chip on my ceramic table. My wife came home and couldn't even find where the original chip was - that's how good it was. Manual was transparent, honest, punctual, and most importantly, highly skilled. It was not an easy repair, as it was a very thin slab of ceramic. After repairing the chip itself, he meticulously painted the top to match the patterns of the rest of the table. An absolute professional and artist. read more

Red Rocker - After refinishing the table - Furniture Repair Near Me - richmond , California

Red Rocker really came through. Brendan and team did a great job refinishing our 25+ year old solid cherry table and chairs that were really starting to look rough. I'm looking at the table now and it's like we have a new table. All the scratches from our cats and deep gouges to the chair seats are gone. The satin finish he applied looks should be extremely durable for years to come and is beautiful. I got a number of quotes through Yelp and Red Rocker was competitive in price (not the cheapest) but gave us great confidence based on photos of past jobs he did and his description of how he would approach the job. Brendan was very easy to work with. Super nice guy, very clear communicator and did exactly what he said he would including pick-up and drop-off at the exact times he gave us. The job was done quicker than he originally mentioned and frankly came out better than I would have imagined. We will absolutely use Red Rocker again on other furniture repair and refinishing jobs. read more

Wonderful experience! Manuel repaired a small but noticeable mark on my wood dining table. He was super responsive and honest about what he could do to repair the issue. I was very happy with the end result. Manuel was also very nice! Would definitely recommend him! read more

Manuel is an absolute artist, at a very reasonable price,, with excellent organization, communication, and follow through. I sent him via Uber courier a kitchen stool that had years of built-up grime from toddler baking projects that even my pressure washer couldn't fully get clean -- but it was solid wood, and it felt like a crime to throw it away. He painted it beautifully and even hand drew on a wood pattern to match the walnut shelves. I had put in my kitchen when he refinished the seat. He was adamant about getting me the best possible paint coverage, even when it required an extra step to do so given the years of buildup, and in the end, he delivered it to my front door, wrapped beautifully to protect it from the rain. I recommend him highly, and will be sending him all of my furniture refinishing in the future. read more

On a Friday, I emailed Red Rocker for a quote to refinish the wooden arms of two Lazy Boy Chairs. Manuel replied quickly with a quote, and followed up with a day/time to visit in three days. Arrived promptly and put down blankets to protect floor. For each recliner arm, he deep sanded, applied stain seal, sanded by hand in spots, and applied two clear coats. Took less than 4 hours. No damage to living room or chair upholstery. Paid $400. Chairs look like new - highly recommend Red Rocker! read more

Brandon picked up my chairs, table and extension leaves and worked absolute magic in just a couple days. The whole set had been through the wringer - we bought it used and then raised kids for 15 years. Fork marks, water spots, easter egg dye, all of it. He gave us a super competitive quote and even helped us out with a chair stability issue that he discovered while refinishing. Very fast, high quality, more-than-fair pricing. I'd definitely, happily hire him again. read more

I can't believe I already have my armoire back! I reached out and Manuel was very fast in communicating. After sending photos and dimensions I received my quote. We scheduled a pickup of my armoire and less than a week I had it back! I wanted my armoire to look less red with tones that go better with the look of my home and that's exactly what I got! He also helped modify the molding on the top because it wouldn't have fit in the spot the way it was. Definitely a professional job and will reach out to home next time I need a piece of furniture refinished. Manuel was very kind and appreciative. read more

I had Manuel refinish an 8-year-old table that had gone through heavy family use, serving as everything from a dining table to a homework table to an office table. The result is impeccable, looking like the day it was purchased. From the initial consultation to the finished projects, Brandon has been more than I'd hoped for. I had no idea what to expect when I decided to find out if there was anyone who could restore a battered "Danish Modern" cabinet. It had once fallen face down during some construction, so I'd always thought it was too far gone. I'd initially wanted to wait and see how the cabinet came out, before having a couple of other smaller projects done. But he assured me it would be beautiful (and it is), so I went ahead and included the refinishing of a desk top, and a couple of book cases. Brandon is not just a fine craftsman with his technical ability, but an artist with his execution of detail. I normally will talk to a couple of people when I have a project, but I didn't feel I would need to, or that I'd do any better after our first meeting. He was timely kept me informed if running late, and completed the projects in just 2 days. I appreciated Brandon doing the work at my house; I could watch the process, ask questions, and make changes to what I'd thought I wanted. read more

THESE FOLKS ARE THE VERY BEST!!! I called and told them I had three bar stools that were made much too tall for my kitchen counter. Kinda of silly requesting to have them cut down but these folks talked to me on a Sunday and on Monday afternoon he was at my house cutting the legs off my bar stools!!! They look amazing now and I can sit on all of them without a ladder. This gentleman was quiet, professional, caring and did a fantastic job making them look perfect!!! I hired Red Rocker to repair a broken wooden support beam on a valuable wooden bed frame, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Manuel communicated clearly and professionally leading up to the appointment. Once he arrived, his work was careful, thorough, and capable. I contacted Red Rocker to see if they could repair a ceramic statue that had a lot of sentimental value to me. Also, it was one of a matching pair of lion statues that my aunt and uncle had given me. I was contacted by Brandon Osorio who said he could do the job. He was even willing to pick up the broken statue and it took him only two days to complete the job. He did an absolutely terrific job! Reasonably priced. Definitely give him a 5 star rating! Also very polite. Please see the pictures! read more

Superb Service!! I had the pleasure to meet Alejandro and Brandon as they were Dream Sofa delegates for our furniture installation and delivery. They are are both incredibly kind and highly professional. They always come on time at the scheduled appointments which we deeply appreciate given our busy schedules. What I was the most impressed with, is the work and creativity they put when it came to positioning this large and heavy sofa bed through a standard door. During the process, they were both relentless, incredibly meticulous and made sure not to damage the furniture. They went as far as dismantling the door to facilitate the transport of the furniture into the room. They also adjusted the furniture frame to facilitate their process. I am amazed that they managed to do it all! I have never witness such hardworking individuals. I was so impressed with their work, that I re-hired them to help me install and align my stove within the marbled hole. They got the job done within 45mn of arrival and ensured that the entire area was cleaned. I am definitely re-hiring them for any furniture repair, installations or paint jobs. I highly recommend their services!! read more

I brought Brandon and Alejandro a relatively unusual project - the wood trim from a 1970's BMW - that I wanted to have refinished as part of an interior restoration of the car. Being a car lover himself, he understood the importance I placed on this project. We discussed exactly what I envisioned and he executed it very well and very quickly.
