Well, coffee bar closes around 1PM, and they flip it to bar time until closing. We were warmly greeted by the bartender (not sure if part owner since there may be a few according to the menu's gratitudes). This bar is chic with a dark academia presence. I didn't take a lot of pics, since I was one of a few ppl there. However, they lean into the Lion theme beautifully. This place is manly, while have a soft essence... who doesn't love chandeliers. On to the offerings, it's a small menu, that appears to be seasonal... small menus means you're able to perfect things ;) My husband and I ordered a snack plate, with 'Spressy and Double Entendre on the side. Snack plate was served in gold dish: roasted salted cashews, toasted buffalo ranch corn, salted caramel chocolate covered popcorn. An elegant nod to beer nuts. I was a stereotypical millennial and ordered a 'Spressy: vanilla vodka, coffee, cacao, tonka; a little morning pick me up, but at night. Fantastic pull, smooth. My husband ordered Double Entendre: bourbon, pistachio, cacao; pistachio-y old fashioned. Bourbon is NOT my drink of choice, but I can tell you the prep showed great attention to detail; beautifully crafted clean, square shaved side, ice cube to perfectly chill the drink. As stated, this place is beautifully chic, with elevated drinks. The demasque wallpaper and gold accents are definitely my vibe. I look forward to returning and trying their coffee offerings.

What a gem. Electric interior and lovely outside patio…read more We grabbed to-go cocktails during covid last year and that was a great experience. Each to-go bottle was equivalent to 2 drinks and came with a bag of chips. Now that's both cute and awesome. Yesterday we came in after moving into the neighborhood and enjoyed the back patio. What a nice place to spend an evening. Spacious yard with plenty of tables and seating. There was a tarot reader last night too so you could sign up to have a reading. We sat with our pup and enjoyed a couple drinks each while decompressing from a busy weekend of unpacking and settling in. Ordered the goodnight sweet prince which was mezcal with chartreuse, lime, Prosecco, pea flower (which I learned is purple ha). I wanted the drink not sweet and the bar must have run out of syrup for me lol. It was perfect without it. More on tart side but that's how I like it. Second drink was a negroni with dry vermouth. Predictable and always a fave for me. I also tasted a barrel aged whiskey just for fun and it's saying a a lot that I could sip it. I normally cannot drink whiskey but this tasted amazing and too easy to drink. Creative and interesting drinks for a good price. They have beer and wine too if you're not into cocktail. And cbd drinks too! They really have it all. I had to ask the bartender if the wine prices were glass or bottle (we are used to $17-$20 glasses in Seattle) and to my very pleasant surprise learned they are bottle prices. I also saw they had $5 negronis during happy hour and that really spoke to me. We will return often.

Got drunk once and made a fool of myself around Miss Libby when we was courtin - and she don't cotton to fools. So never again. That be what it may, I do like to socialize and be around interestin people. Since the kindly folks of the Cheyenne and Lakota tribes taught me the value of cultural diversity, I now enjoy just about every ones company. I like this waterin hole cuz you can find all kinds of fasinatin and different types of folks there. The grub is nice and fancy too. I like that. So when you got the urge to water your horses, this is a fine place to tie up. Happy trails and don't get in one of them horseless buggies and drive it when youre all liquored up - even just a little. Just ride on the back of someone elses horse.

Khaab Indian Kitchen Delivers an Incredible Indian Dining Experience in Bexley!…read more If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and an unforgettable dining experience, Khaab Indian Kitchen in Bexley deserves a spot on your must-visit list. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Khaab takes pride in every detail. The menu offers a wonderful balance of traditional Indian favorites and elevated dishes, with each plate showcasing incredible spices, textures, and fresh ingredients. We started our meal with the Samosa Chaat and Mixed Platter, which were the perfect introduction to the flavors of Khaab. The Samosa Chaat was an amazing combination of crispy, tangy, savory, and creamy, while the Mixed Platter gave us a delicious variety of perfectly seasoned appetizers. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Khaab Smoked Old Fashioned brought a unique smoky presentation with a smooth, rich flavor, while the Made in India cocktail was refreshing and packed with personality. For the main course, we enjoyed an incredible spread that showcased the variety of Indian cuisine. The Garlic Naan was hot, buttery, and perfectly cooked--ideal for scooping up every bit of the delicious sauces. The Lentil Soup was comforting and full of flavor, and the Tandoori Shrimp had the perfect char and seasoning from the traditional tandoor cooking process. The Fried Bhatura was light, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the meal. The Paneer Makhani was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the Chicken Rogan Josh was a standout with tender chicken and a deeply aromatic curry sauce that was perfectly balanced. Served alongside White Rice, it made for a truly satisfying meal. We finished our meal with the Kheer and Gulab Jamun, the perfect sweet ending to an incredible dining experience. The Kheer was creamy, comforting, and delicately flavored with traditional spices, creating a beautiful balance of sweetness and richness. The Gulab Jamun was warm, soft, and soaked in a sweet syrup that melted in your mouth a timeless Indian dessert classic executed perfectly. Together, they provided the perfect finish to a meal filled with bold flavors, incredible spices, and unforgettable dishes. One thing that makes Khaab even more appealing is their freshly stocked lunch buffet, available daily, featuring many of their favorite dishes. It's a great way to experience a variety of flavors and discover new favorites. Whether you're already a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Khaab Indian Kitchen is a restaurant worth experiencing. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and attention to detail all come together to create a memorable dining experience.

I loved both! The onion naan was some of the best naan I've ever had. It was extremely soft and tasted very fresh. It even heated up very well the following day. We also got the chefs special naan and it was good, but not my favorite. I think there were already a lot of flavors from the entrees, so it was overwhelming with the different fillings in the naan. Take out/pick up process was extremely easy!
