I went on a Friday morning around 9:20 there was only 1 worker but she was friendly (however, she tried her best to push a $80 pedi on me, only con. & umm no thank you). She took her time and did my pedi and it looks good. How did my nails & baby he snaped! I haven't had my acrylics done in a longg time because I do them myself with some good ol press ons. I paid $80 for a gel mani pedi They used and old gel dryer without a timer. They only let my hand stay in gel dryer for about 30 seconds. I told them it should dry for 60 seconds. Also the polish was slopped on to thick. The very next day right thumb chipped. I went back for correcting. The second day I am totally appalled. Right index finger chipping bad. Overall job was terrible. I expect to be given the proper time & attention when I come in for a service & pay good money. Every nail is tacky around the cuticle. I feel like I was ripped off. I have been here several times. There are a few I would NOT recommend, wish I knew there names. The pedicures were rushed and one nail tech left polish and acrylic all over my skin. However, after many visits I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND David as a nail tech. He has never disappointed me. He takes his time and my designs are always on point. He never tries to give me what he thinks he wants me to have and rather exactly what I ask for. For pedicures I recommend the lady who is a nurse. I'll update when I find her name. Terrible won't go again. You can tell that the nail technicians are new to doing nails because they have a hard time learning how to build the nails from acrylic. The shape of all ten of my nails, all look different. What really pissed me off is that the foot scraper that the lady used on my feet, once she was done scraping all the dead skin off my feet she put it back in the cart. when she was finished with my pedicure she pushed the cart to the next customer that was getting a pedicure and I watched her use the same foot scraper to get that lady dead skin off. I'd rather not rate this place at all, but sadly here I am. I've been coming to this nail shop for months and I stayed hopeful as there were times where I received good service. However, today was my last straw. After waiting, which is expected on a Saturday, finally a young lady appears and begins my pedicure. Things were going okay, however I had to ask multiple times for her to cut down my toe nails, to file, etc. on the phone with my sister, I sent several pics and could clearly see all of the errors as there was orange paint all over my toes. When I approached the situation, I was told that because I got a basic pedicure this was good enough... The woman who came up told me, this is considered a good job because she saw the woman do the work and that she did a good job. This experience was just ok. I've gotten numerous nail services in my past and this one is by far on the "not so favorable" side. For starters, I was visiting from out of town and maybe my expectations were too high. The basic pedicure is just that, BASIC. No massage, no lotion, no scrub, NOTHING! Apparently, that comes with the deluxe around here unlike where I'm from. Not even the little paper flip flops were given. My toes were separated with toilet paper before painting and not the normal foam separators that are typically used. All I received was a trim of the toe nails and shape, clean up of the cuticle and removal of some dead skin on the heels, polish and done. Lasted 20 minutes, if that. Second, I went in for a gel manny as well and the tech was in such a rush that I only got a polish change, all of which totaled up to $50. How? I didn't bother to confirm the price of my services but $50 for a BASIC pedicure and gel fingernail polish change? Never again. I give 3 stars (really deserving of 2.5) because the inside was clean and nice but the experience was just ok. read more

Well... The experience was good for the most part, for it being my first time! It's nice inside, very cleanly. Now, a week later all 10 of my nails are lifting and two have completely popped off! I showed him a pic of what I wanted and he kept trying to get me to go with something he wanted to doo which annoyed me. The water was cold and she didnt put anything in the water. The best part was the massage but that's it. I went to someone else to get my manicure and felt very rushed to pick a color. After distinctively telling the nail tech I did not want a particular style nail (coffin) after asking serval times to confirm they do have what I was seeking and the tech began working as I looked down I noticed they had glued down one square tip and several coffin I was then told these were the only XXL tips they had that they then conversed amongst themselves very nastily and the nail tech seemed irritated about having to do what I asked for to begin with. They then told me they would come up with a way to make them square but just made the thicker once I asked them to remove the set as it was not what I asked for they attempted to charge me $15 to take it off. I refused to pay that seeing as to how I specified what I wanted prior to service and when I refused they stopped removing the bad work and I left. The colors I selected was turning out perfect then he added something on top before my top coat and it completely changed the colors. Not a deal breaker but next time I will ask him not to do that. This place is RACIST!!!!! I've been doing nails for over 10 years in the nail industry with Asians. And I've never been told no because I'm black! I currently work in Decatur but I needed something close to home so I decided on this place. Because it's only 10 minutes away from my house. I was recommended by my Asian co worker to come here. She's so embarrassed because she recommended me. I reached out to "Seven" and he was excited for me to work. So he told me to come after 5pm so we could discuss my start date. ( He actually wanted me to start the next day) and I told his I'd rather talk first. Soon as he seen the color of my skin, it was a immediate no. I'm still in shocked and hurt by this.
