Stylists usually have a bit of a hard time with my hair, but here, I got exactly what I asked for. Chris is quick, but precise and pays good attention to detail. Now it feels like going to a Supercuts. Well, two years later, I just came back from my latest T&C appointment, still getting the $60 "Haircut, beard trim with straight razor line up." These days I'm no longer bearded but this morning decided to not get a shave so I could get the full experience. If there's one thing you should pretty much be able to count on, it's that a package description that refers to a straight razor will include the use of a straight razor. The whole thing was about 20-25 minutes. In that whole time, a straight razor didn't get within a foot of my head. He did 'shave' me ... using a standard electric foil shaver. For what I got, I could -- should -- have spent a lot less than $60. I think it's time to move on and find another, more traditional, barber -- or go to the other end of the spectrum and actually go to a Nice[tm] haircutting place. This is sort of the worst of all worlds.
